this is so real actually i never thought about this but i always knew that cartoon!Matt was better substance-wise than comic!Matt.
Saw THIS POST and I couldn't agree more. Out here with the comic!Matt slander.
a crazy msb idea hear me out:
the magic school bus? not real. miss frizzle’s field trips? all in your head.
eight kids on a school bus field trip get into a crash on their way to their destination and fall into a nine month coma — or so they’re told. they don’t question it when they wake up in the hospital and are told as such.
years later, these kids start realizing their stories are matching up, their teacher is reappearing in town, and perhaps the magic school bus is real. the questions now are what really happened that day, who’s trying to keep the truth from them, and why.
god why this fandom lol
my 13th reason is yashiori island because tell me why the fuck i’m getting struck by lightning in the middle of a cutscene TWICE
THIS!! As a George stan, I don’t really see her as LESBIANLESBIANLESBIAN! as people often hype her up to be?
Maybe I can’t say this as I’m unlabelled/uncertain/haven’t really bothered to explore it in me, but I don’t really see George in that light. It’s the same with Velma, too.
Maybe I just don’t like how LGBTQ+ is more determined by a certain look or aesthetic and anyone who fits into that look or aesthetic is automatically LGBTQ+ when that’s not how it works.
Don’t get me wrong, I can see the vision, but Lesbian!George isn’t something I headcanon. I can see her as Bi, but that’s about it.
Is it internalized h0m0ph0bia? I dunno, I don’t think so (i’m a theatre major i’m surrounded by gays and i adore them how could i be?), but that’s my two cents.
So is anyone willing to talk about the way that there are a lot of people in the Nancy Drew fandom who stereotype George Fayne when they call her a lesbian and are also occasionally weirdly sexist in the way that they do it?
Like the man times I've seen, "She's independent. I can't picture her with a man." So anyone who is attracted to men is dependent on men, is that what you wanna imply?
"She's not traditionally feminine." So you wanna imply that you have to be feminine in some way to be attracted to men?
or "It's just the vibe I get from her." The vibe from what? Her short hair? Her love of sports? Or the two reasons that I've mentioned above?
Before anyone says anything about "respecting headcanons," I'm not going to respect headcanons that are disrespectful in nature. Specifically, if the ones saying stuff like this aren't lesbians. You need to do some self-reflection on how you view people.
my favorite set of siblings bro
the moon queen & her getaway pilot
rip jazz fenton, you would’ve loved buzzfeed unsolved
I GOT MY BOY (but shit what does that say about me?)
if i had a nickel for every time an animated kids show just up and ran with lore ideas i had brewing in my little pot of fanfic ideas for at least a year before its respective premiere season came out, i’d have two nickels. it’s not a lot but it’s awfully strange that it happened twice now.
here's me pretending euphrasia doesn't exist so that way the little gia sparks can be the chaotic good elemental master of wind we all need.
okay zutara hades and persephone au but katara is hades
am i the only one who lowkey ships zoe x jess? like now that we know they were besties in ny and they are both queer af (no confirmation needed) you can’t tell me they weren’t the adrinette of nyc — pining, in denial, def awkward but somehow can perform basic friendship functions — while aeon’s just third wheeling and facepalming at their tomfoolery like “pls get together”
this is the kind of random fandom shit i post on my wattpad announcement board 😳
