And you know what? You have no idea how mentally and emotionally trying this is. Asking for help isn't easy at all, but when I think that the price will be staying alive, getting our basic needs and rebuilding our lives, it pushes me more and more to do this until we reach our goal.

This is Ola, the older sister who is trying to help her family. For 11 months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking and now we're out of them all. I don’t usually post on Tumblr but this piece is different. The version up on Instagram is set post-Muriel’s upright ending, but the initial idea for the piece was meant to be during Asra and Julian’s relationship during the plague. I’ve recently read “The Rules” by the very VERY talented @motherofqups and I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I need these two to be happy and embrace the complicated messed up feelings that brought them together at the most unlikely time, under the worst possible circumstances. So I will just keep making art of them finding comfort in each other, because they deserve it.

I just want to say I am so happy for you that you're finally leaving that hell hole. I've been reading your works for a while now. They honestly make my day and help me get through tough times and to hear what you had to go through. You deserve so much better and I'm so glad you're finally leaving that place, wherever you go we will always be with you, no matter what we love you, mama

WONDERFUL UPDATE!!

Thanks to everyone here and who helped, we reached and even went past the 700 dollar goal!

This means I can get my end of things ready and finally, FINALLY get me and my animals out of this place! I'm close to crying tears of relief and joy, I cannot form words about how this makes me feel, but there's a lot of positive emotions mixed in, I promise!

Thank you, to everyone! Even if you feel you didn't do much, you shush, because you did! I'm so thankful and happy and just-a bunch of happy words, I never thought I'd ever leave this place! You guys are life savers, each and every one of you, and I love you all very much!
