I’m Baaaack. Sorry It’s Been So Long. I Finished Writing My Support Engineer Izuku X Pro Hero Shouto

For added context, in Japan, sometimes one person in a relationship will hold the sleeve of the other person if they’re too shy to hold hands. This isn’t the kind of thing Izuku thinks about.

So anyway, hi! It has been over two months since my last post. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t been okay. Saying I went through a mental health crisis seems dramatic, but, in short, I suffer from body dysmorphia, and I was engaging in some behaviors that weren’t healthy. I finally realized that what I was doing was harmful, and I’m on the path to being okay now. I’m a private person, so I don’t want to go into detail, but focusing on art has been difficult. I worked on this single page for SO long. Now that it’s done, I feel more relief than pride or satisfaction, which I don’t like. So, to be frank, I’m not sure when the next update will be. I plan on finishing—I hate leaving things undone—but I need a break. I think I want to focus on something more relaxing, like copying manga panels or something, until I’m in a better headspace. Every day feels so stressful right now, and I just can’t let art be one of the things adding to that. I hope no one is too disappointed. Thank you to everyone who has said kind things to me regarding this comic; I honestly can’t express how great it is to wake up to a nice comment when you spent the entire previous day hating yourself.
