Okay actually I was rewatching and I did notice something

This scene right here just before echo runs to the shuttle, he and fives are working together really well. fives is covering him so he can throw the grenades and they’re successfully taking out the droids and everything is going smooth.

But then later, after they lose echo, there’s a scene where commando droids are attacking and fives is trying to both shoot and throw a grenade (cause echo isn’t there to help him) 

And you can see him obviously struggling here, he actually ends up falling over while trying to get away from the bomb (stumbling before it even goes off)

And rex has to help him up

He moves very clumsily in this scene (I wish I could gif it!) In contrast to the earlier scene where he and echo were fighting together. I think this was probably done on purpose, to kind of show how fives isn’t used to fighting without him
