Made the worst brownies ever created just now
imagine if their fallout started with this 🥹
Sure, they formed the Guili Assembly together...with a third god, actually. Guizhong was kind and highly intelligent. Morax was extremely powerful and basically a war god. Morax was also not fuckin' smart. Morax leading a nation on his own? Uh-uh, not gonna happen. Remember, like, ~2000 years after Guizhong died, Venti basically said Morax was a, "brutish, blundering bafoon." And that's millennia after she died. That's like asking a stereotypical jock from a 90's TV show to run student counsel. Shit's gonna crash and burn almost immediately.
Guizhong, like I said, was extremely intelligent. But she was not much of a fighter. Alone, she probably wouldn't have stood a chance against the monsters, demons and other gods of the time that would try to take her land. Forming an alliance with Morax was a big brain play. The brawn to her brains. If anything, she was out of his league lmao And then she died in a battle... 3700 years ago. She's been dead almost longer than Xiao has been alive, I believe. It will always hurt to lose a friend, especially when you live as long as Zhongli and remember practically everything that has happened in your extremely long life.
People seem to forget that men and women can be really close,,,,and just be,,,,,friends. Foreign concept, I know
I'm not saying to not ship them, obviously no one has the right to say that and everyone should have their fun. Just,,,remember it's not canon. No need to hate on Guizhong lmfao Besides, she's dead. Dead as hell. What shoes she got on in her coffin?
If anything, it was Guizhong and Madam Ping ffs
people who said pit bull (one of the most gentle animals) was an aggressive breed must’ve never met a chihuahua in their entire lives
because if chihuahuas were the size of pit bulls, humanity would be doomed

2 every former "weird kid" out there who still struggles with repressed self hatred as a coping mechanism, remember that it's totally okay to forgive that younger version of yourself. You didn't do anything to deserve the way you were treated, and no matter what you did then, you can always become a version of yourself that you like NOW ! : D or something liek that!!
“Issue #8: Do You Really Think That’s Your Destiny?”
I’ve been looking forward to drawing this issue for awhile! Daffodilpaw hasn’t gotten much exploration in the story yet, but I’m really fond of her. She seems like a simple relentless optimist, but sometimes she’ll open her mouth and unironically say the most insane depressing thing you’ve ever heard. Like I’ve said, none of the apprentices in this story are remotely okay.
Her injury is somewhat similar to Cinderpelt’s in how it manifests, as her leg from the shin down is paralyzed. However her upper thigh still works fine, and in any case three-legged cats don’t actually live any worse than four-legged ones. This is all moot against canon Warriors comparison anyways, because in PATFW healers still hunt and patrol. Daffodilpaw can’t run or fight as well as the others but she doesn’t really need to! Not much need in BarrenClan. All to say that canon-typical discrimination against disabled cats isn’t a part of Daffodilpaw’s story and I shall not be engaging with it.
Yeah, her repressed feelings of misplaced survivor’s guilt and pressure to perform for her authority figures is a whole OTHER can of worms!

if you don't do anything else today,
Please have a moment of silence for the people who were killed instead of freed when news of emancipation finally reached the furthest corners of the american south.
have another moment for the ledgers, catalogs, and records that were burned and the homes that were destroyed to hide the presence of very much alive and still enslaved people on dozens of plantations and homesteads across the south for decades after emancipation.
and have a third moment for those who were hunted and killed while fleeing the south to find safety across the border, overseas, in the north and to the west.
black people. light a candle, write a note to those who have passed telling them what you have achieved in spite of the racist and intolerant conditions of this world, feel the warmth of the flame under your hand, say a prayer of rememberance if you are religious, place the note under the candle, and then blow it out.
if you have children, sit them down and tell them anything you know about the life of oldest black person you've ever met. it doesn't have to be your own family. tell them what you know about what life was like for us in the days, years, decades after emancipation. if you don't know much, look it up and learn about it together.
white people CAN interact with this post. share it, spread it.
