“where are you?” you asked your boyfriend over the phone, unable to find him where he told you he would meet you after your class.

“right here,” you heard his voice emit from the phone, but also from behind you.

you turned around, eyes instantly lighting up at the sight of heeseung.

“hi,” you greeted him, ending the call on your phone.

“hi, love,” he smiled at you before walking closer and immediately intertwining his fingers with yours, “how was your day?”

as you answered his question and told him stories about how your classes went, you two walked to heeseung’s house where you planned to get some homework done. this began to be a routine for both of you, because since you had to get your homework done anyways, you might as well do it in the presence of the love of your life.

after about fifteen minutes, you two finally arrived. you both set down your things in heeseung’s room, and like almost every day, you started working at a small desk in his room.

your boyfriend, on the other hand, sat at another just a few feet away, turning on his laptop and putting on his headset to begin playing some games as he waited for you to finish your homework so that he could spend quality time with you for the rest of the day—just you and him without any homework getting in the way.

taking a look at the books and papers you laid out on the desk, you let out a heavy sigh. but before you could let yourself fall into the hole of procrastination, you took a deep breath in and pulled yourself together to begin getting your work done, hunching over, a pen in hand as you started jotting down notes.

after a couple hours, still sitting in your chair, you set your pen down and stretched your arms out wide. after finally finishing what you were working on, you walked over to heeseung who was still in his chair, eyes glued to his screen and lips slightly pursed in focus.

as you approached him, appearing in his peripheral vision, he turned his head to look at you, a smile immediately painting his expression. he took one side of his headset off of his ear and mouthed to you, asking if you were done.

you nodded. he smiled and you walked closer to him, sitting in his lap, quickly engulfed in his arms.

but before long, you whispered into his open ear, “hee, i’m sleepy.”

he looked into your eyes, faces inches apart as he told you that you could sleep. so as per his suggestion, you nuzzled your face into his neck, hugging his figure before quickly drifting into a slumber.

heeseung smiled softly, all he could think about was how cute and precious you were, sleeping on top of him like this.

he lowered his head slightly and left a soft, gentle kiss on your shoulder before he returned back to playing his game.

after about half an hour, you woke up, sitting up slowly with droopy eyelids. you looked at your boyfriend in front of you who now stared at you lovingly. you both greeted each other with a soft “hi” before he sat up slightly to leave a soft and quick kiss on your lips.

it was perfect timing because he had just finished his game with his friends.

he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you back into his chest, where you two stayed for a long while, basking in the silent presence of one another.

eventually, you two fell asleep in each other’s arms, and all that could be heard were soft breaths as you cuddled against one another in a comfortable, much needed rest.

𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎..

the invitation appeared clear in front of y/n’s eyes. her gaze softened as she scanned through the paper. “finally sent it out,” she mumbled under her breath.

her face lit up for a second in excitement that her friend, min-su, was getting married; but once took a pause when she realized something.

𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄? ☐

the girl’s heart shattered at the two words. “plus one..,” she repeated in a soft scoff. “yeah right.”

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ — flashback

“sunghoon!” y/n giggled, feeling her boyfriend’s hands snake around her waist.

his loud, booming laugh echoed in the apartment as he flashed a wide grin. “i have to hold you there!” he yelled out, giving a hearty chuckle at her squirming figure.

“that tickles!”

she tried to push the hands away and sunghoon kept a firm grip where they laid. “come on, get used to it!” he murmured, trying to bring their bodies closer for the dance.

her heart quickly thumped, knees falling weak at his push for their chests to meet. “hoonie..,” she tried to whine, ignoring the fuming butterflies in her stomach.

“yeah, pretty?” he whispered in her ear, head leaning down to meet her height.

y/n felt a tickle in her throat, almost coughing at the flustering reaction he caused. she swiftly pushed him away, catching her breath once he let go with a soft smirk.

“baby, you know you’re gonna have to get used to it, right? we’re gonna be dancing for min-su and heeseung’s wedding soon.” hoon chuckled, loving the way her cheeks were so flush with pink.

“i know! but you’re very close to me.”

he laughed again before approaching closer. his finger flicked under her chin for a split second, smiling as he murmured, “that’s the whole point, y/n.”

the girl sighed before shoving his hands away. “you do it on purpose, idiot.” she rolled her eyes.

“no i don’t??” he loudly beamed, chortling out laughs afterward.

“sunghoon..,” she whined while nudging his arms.

“okay, okay, i won’t do it again! now can we please try one more time?”

she glanced up at her boyfriend who began giving a soft pout. a sigh escaped from her. she just can’t say no to that face.

her arms wrapped around his neck as his own fell to the waist again, fingers gripping tighter by the second.

his eyes peered into hers, getting completely lost into them as he started smiling like an idiot.

a smile crept onto his lips, unable to hide his longing desire to keep her in his arms like this while y/n returned back his charming grin.

her gaze attracted onto his and her face began to glow with a tinge of pink, blood rushing at the mere thought of having her lover boy near her.

the music was kept low in the background, almost drowning in their eyes as they slowly held each other in the dim-lit living room.

their foreheads bunked and they took in the sight of their perfect person.

everything about this was as memorable as one’s wedding day could be. nothing in the world mattered, but them, and they knew it.

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧

y/n’s eyes filled to the brim with tears, heart aching and chest tightening at the memory that ran through.

her breathing began getting heavy, and the only thing she could feel was her body in physical pain. her knees curled up to her chest and she lowered her head, drowning her tears to herself as she remained in the empty living room that was once lively.

the wedding was just in two days, but the breakup between her and sunghoon were still fresh.

granted, it had almost been two months since, but those two months were the hardest she’s ever had to endure. and with one of her best friends getting married, she couldn’t dare to put the news out there so soon.

y/n’s breath hitched, tears still flowing as she felt her world crash down. her head laid against her knees again, sniffling in hopes of pushing the pain away.

was it even possible to get through this without her other half?

she huffed out a sigh before finding her phone buzzing with texts.

jake’s girl 🫂:

are you excited, min-su??

AHHH

I AM

jungwon’s bae 🩶:

ME TOOOOOO

YOURE GONNA LOOK SO GOOD MIN-SU

hee’s fav 🤍:

STOPP

I CAN’T WAITTT

HEE AND I ARE SO EXCITED

as the group chat continued, y/n smiled to herself, heart healing at the excitement that surged through every text.

she wished she responded but her heart couldn’t recover from losing sunghoon.

✩ ‘say isn’t it strange?’ ✩

she sniffled again, hands shaking as she closed her phone and let tears run down her wet cheeks.

“i miss you, hoonie.” she whispered, heart shattering at her cracked words.

she wondered if the boy she loved was going through the same thing, or had moved on quicker than she imagined with how little contact they’ve had.

but what she didn’t know was that sunghoon was holding his knees up to his chest just like her, tears flowing down the exact same pace as he looked back on the photos he had. the photos he couldn’t dare to delete, even if he knew it was what was needed to move on.

his puffy lids drooped down a little more each time he scrolled, unlocking memories that were now filled with a stranger he once knew.

✩ ‘isn’t it strange?’ ✩

at times, he’d tilt his head and wear a soft smile he didn’t even know he had when finding pictures that defined them, defined their whole existence within each other.

how could he ever move on from the perfect girl he wanted to marry?

sunghoon quickly sniffled and shut his phone off, laying his head down next to his knees while mumbling, “i miss you, y/n.”

. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆

the awaited day had finally arrived.

everyone in the wedding gathered at the banquet hall, rushing to get everything in place.

y/n walked out of the room to grab her friends a few drinks, finding no harm in doing so. but she came to regret it after finding sunghoon firmly standing near the bar.

her heart was quick to drop and butterflies immediately gathered in her stomach. she gulped down the bundle of nerves that tempted to push out as his eyes finally fell on her.

she watched them soften for a second, and soon enough, the light reflected in his eyes and emphasized the tears that gathered around them.

the girl felt her chest tighten just like it did when they had agreed on breaking it off. feelings were quick to rush back and she almost couldn’t budge from the glued ground.

and that was when he walked up to her, getting a better view of his pretty girl in a cream colored dress, highlighting her body figure that he used to adore.

his heart rang for her as he tried to keep his composure, hands shoving into his pockets with a cleared throat added in.

“y/n…,” he weakly voiced. “you look beautiful.”

✩ ‘i am still me’ ✩

tears threatened to spill at that very moment but she choked it back in, though her glassy eyes still said more. “thank you, sunghoon.” she said with a shaken tone. “you look very handsome.”

✩ ‘you are still you’ ✩

her gaze fell to the suit he wore. handsome couldn’t even begin to describe him. he was still as gorgeous as ever, and it pained her that that was all she could say.

“you picked this suit out for me,” hoon murmured with a faint grin.

and almost instantly, he regretted his words because memories started to flashback for him, and her.

✩ ‘in the same place’ ✩

they were both quickly brought back to when he was debating on either suits and his person helped him choose, forced him to wear it, and teased him relentlessly on how handsome he’ll be at the wedding.

then he kissed her everywhere on the face, leaving littering pecks to show that he wouldn’t be looking good for anyone but her.

y/n softly gasped for air at the flooding memory, turning her head to hide the reddened eyes.

all the reasons to why they had to break up were suddenly gone. every single one vanishing in the air with their desire to cave in and hold each other again.

✩ ‘say isn’t it strange?’ ✩

“i should go,” she mumbled. “min-su’s waiting for me…,”

sunghoon didn’t say anything, only nodding and letting her leave in fear that he’d say something unplanned.

he watched her figure make its exit, eyes lingering for her to stay another second longer just to have her presence near.

but she didn’t, so he heavily sighed and walked away as well.

✩ ‘isn’t it strange?’ ✩

. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆

time was ticking and soon enough, the ceremony began.

y/n’s friend, min-su, walked down the aisle with tears in her eyes. her lips trembled and her heart stood in the right place in knowing she was marrying the man of her dreams.

y/n watched her slowly make her way as she stood by her two other friends, ji-woo and dae. her heart was almost heavy in this bittersweet moment she was experiencing.

she wanted nothing more than happiness for the soon-wedded couple, but she just couldn’t help and think about if her and sunghoon had really made it through this to be their wedding.

she quickly chewed on her lips, forcing herself out of that mindset as her friend finally reached to where heeseung was.

“please be seated,” the officiant spoke.

the ceremony continued on with faint flashbacks the bride and groom had of each other, earning giggles from the crowd. then there came the vows, and the rings exchange that melted everyone’s hearts.

“i do.” both min-su and heeseung firmly said, smiling with tears in their eyes.

“you may kiss the bride.”

and that was when hee quickly pulled his newly wedded wife into his arms, pressing a firm kiss for everyone to cheer for.

y/n quietly sobbed, clapping while ji-woo uttered, “they’re so perfect for each other.”

she softly laughed as she wiped her tears, glancing across the room and accidentally meeting eyes with the boy she loved.

his gaze had already fallen on her, and he couldn’t stop himself. he just couldn’t stop thinking about what it would’ve been like if they were still together and had arrived as a couple.

his heart ripped to shreds at the sight of her crying, bringing him back to when they broke up.

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ — flashback

✩ ‘back to this room’ ✩

sunghoon had just arrived home after a long shift, drained from the used up energy he had to give.

he quickly sat onto the couch, sighing in relief of some peace and quiet.

y/n finally approached out of their shared room, walking toward with the same, exhausted expression he had on.

the two were growing out of the relationship with how busy they were, schedules never aligning and both always wanting time for themselves as introverts.

she sat near him, sighing in defeat of the realization she had. she didn’t want to let him go, she wasn’t ready.

but nothing could save the crumbling truth.

“sunghoon..,” she whispered, laying her attention on the tired boy who had his eyes closed.

“hm?”

“can we talk?”

his eyes instantly shot open and his body shook itself awake once he realized she was serious.

“yeah,” he cleared his throat, furrowing his brows and uttering, “what about?”

but he knew what it was about.

✩ ‘what could i do?’ ✩

she hesitated for a second, hands trembling and heart standing fragile. “our relationship…,” she said. “we’re both getting really busy..,”

she stopped, voice cracking within each second. her mouth opened to speak but sunghoon’s shuffling made her go mute.

he sat up with his eyes shut. “i know we are, and i know we might not make it but, please…,” he pushed himself closer to her, hands firmly holding her cheeks. “i can’t let you walk away from this, from us. we were almost there.”

✩ ‘i touch your head’ ✩

tears streamed down his face now and the area around his eyes reddened, which y/n reflected.

“we were, hoonie.” she confirmed with a weak voice. “i wanted us to last for so long.. you’re my everything, you know that but..,”

she couldn’t bring herself to say it, so he did.

“but we have to break up.”

✩ ‘to pull your thoughts into my hand’ ✩

the two immediately broke down once the harsh reality hit them.

y/n clung to his chest, arms wrapping around tightly to remember how it’d be like hugging him when they separated.

“this is unfair,” she sobbed. “we were so close, sunghoon, so close.”

the male’s heart tightened at her words as he cried into her shoulder, wetting her hair with tears. he couldn’t bring himself to say anything, scared that anything else would force him further to see that they were done.

so y/n kept quiet too, letting their mixed cries echo in the living room that was once filled with joyous laughter from their practice dance nights.

they clung onto each other just a little longer, and perhaps also clung onto their little fragment of hope until one of them pulled away.

it was unclear of who it was with how much they lingered to stay that way forever, but they were now separated, and what’d seem like forever was now never.

sunghoon’s hand cupped one side of her cheek, holding her face for one last look in the most beautiful girl he’ll ever meet.

“i love you, y/n.” he sniffled, thumb rubbing away the tears.

she whimpered out a few more cries, heart stabbing at his sentence that’d linger in her ears forever. “i love you too, sunghoon, always will.” her hand reached over the one that held her cheek, grasping it to hold what she’d soon be losing.

“you’ll forever be my favorite person, nothing can change that.” his deep voice muttered, lips frowning as he continued, “i still want to fight for us and i still want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

hoon pulled her in for a soft kiss on the forehead, holding himself against her skin longer than usual to savor his last moments with her.

“i know life is against us right now, so i can only hope that we’ll come back together again when the time is right.” he confirmed with a sniffle. “when the time no longer separates us from each other.”

y/n but her lips and sobbed, eyes glistening with tears as she nodded her head. she knew though that it was just a lie, they both did, but it was what they needed to soften the blow.

“you’re the love my life, how am i gonna go on?” she said, feeling her mind go numb at the mere though of continuing on without him.

“hey, hey,” sunghoon quickly cooed, bringing her in for another hug. her head snuggled against his chest as he uttered, “you’re strong, gorgeous. you always are, and you can live without me so easily.”

he softly chuckled when she continued to cry in his comforting embrace. “you’re my independent girl, that’s what i’ll always love about you. you’ll continue on and do great things without me, just don’t forget me, okay?”

his joke only made her sob harder, along with a faint hit to the arm, making him laugh and whisper under his breath—“that’s my girl.”

so they held on a little longer, hands tightly grasped around each other while still holding onto the tiny hope of them together again.

✩ ‘but now i can’t’ ✩

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧

“hey?” jake snapped to him. “you okay, bro?”

sunghoon quickly shook his head, bringing himself back to the present where the reception would be starting soon.

“i’m good, yeah.” he confirmed, hiding away the tears.

his friend chuckled before patting him on the back. “okay well, grab your girlfriend, we gotta go in before the new couple comes in and we miss it.”

hoon nodded, heart shattering at the term—‘girlfriend’ though still walking away. he searched for y/n, trying to find her so there were no suspicions but she was nowhere to be found.

he sighed before walking into the reception, eyes still scanning for her. and just when he was about to give up, he found her already sitting at a table where his seat wasn’t assigned.

his brows furrowed from the distance and he was close to approaching her when jay had stopped him.

“can you believe our hyung is married now?” he laughed. “i’d never imagine it’d come so soon.”

“best believe it, jay. one down, six to go.” jake chuckled, flinging an arm around sunghoon.

“i’m next.” the shorter males eyes flickered to his girlfriend, ji-woo and he instantly smiled. “yeah, i’m definitely next.”

the others finally approached and jungwon laughed. “nice try, hyung, but it’s dae and i next.” he murmured, attention flashing to his partner who had his brows raising.

the two softly bickered on who’d be next, causing sunoo to utter—“are you guys forgetting sunghoon and y/n? what if they get married first before you guys?”

the six members lingered their gaze onto the said boy who awkwardly stood and laughed. “oh yeah.., i don’t know though, i don’t think we’re ready for that yet.” he tried to excuse.

“yeah right, i saw this guy in a ring store months ago! he’s definitely proposing soon,” ni-ki snorted with a head shake.

hoon froze for a second before denying, trying to break the attention away from him while ignoring the tightened chest.

✩ ‘what did we lose?’ ✩

as the rest of the members continued, he turned his gaze to y/n who was now talking to her friends.

“i can’t believe our girl got married,” ji-woo huffed, still wiping away the happy tears.

“told you she’d be the first to get married,” y/n joked.

the three bursted into giggles as dae said, “well that was to be expected, who else would it be?”

dae and y/n immediately turned to ji-woo, who gasped and playfully rolled her eyes. “alright… why are you guys targeting me?”

“it’s definitely you and jake next.”

“and then you and jungwon!” y/n added in.

“then you and sunghoon!”

the girl laughed, trying to hide the awkwardness in her tone as she only nodded.

“by the way.. are you guys okay?” ji-woo mumbled.

y/n whipped her head at her. “what??”

“well just asking… you guys haven’t been as affectionate as we thought you guys would..,” she replied back.

dae nodded in agreement. “in fact, we haven’t seen you guys near each other today at all. did you guys get into an argument again?”

he furrowed his brows toward the girl who only forced a smile. “no, we’re okay, i swear! we just.. agreed not to be too affectionate since it’s min-su and heeseung’s special day!”

“girl, are you sure because you guys have been really distant.”

“i’m sure,” she falsely confirmed. “sunghoon and i are doing great.”

the words left a sour taste in her mouth as she puckered her lips together, not wanting to ruin her friends day. eventually, she convinced the two who began giving in.

before they could say more, the announcer had suddenly yelled out—“ladies and gentlemen, for the first time as a newly wedded couple, heeseung and min-su!”

the two came out and cheers were quick to fill the room as they walked through with huge smiles plastered across their faces.

y/n’s heart lightened as she watched her two friends smear cake frosting against each other. her eyes softened at the sight and everything was forgotten for a second.

then the couple had their first dance, where ‘can’t help falling in love with you’ played in a soft melody, melting everyone who watched min-su and heeseung bunk their heads against one another.

she loved the view in front of her as she happily watched, gaze too fixated on them to notice that sunghoon wasn’t watching them, but her.

✩ ‘you look at me’ ✩

he observed how she admired the wedded couple, how her eyes began to sparkle with tears, and how she wasn’t even aware that his longing gaze remained on her.

he could fall in love with her all over again.

when the couple shifted from the center just a little, y/n followed and finally let her attention fall onto him.

✩ ‘i look at you’ ✩

her heart picked up on the rapid pace that was setting off and they let their eyes lock before she looked away, not wanting to experience another ache in her body.

✩ ‘with nothing to say’ ✩

. . • ☆ . ° .• °:. *₊ ° . ☆

as the night continued, the married couple soon left to their honeymoon, leaving the rest to maintain their fun at the reception.

when a slow song began to play, y/n’s friends left to dance with their partners, leaving her alone.

she watched for a split second, dear admiration in her eyes for the two couples not too far from her.

ji-woo locked her arms around jake’s neck as he held her close by the waist, whispering sweet nothings in her ear that’d earn giggles in return. then he smiled and pulled her in closer for a sweet kiss.

dae and jungwon were in the same position but the taller male was staring down at his boy with a mischievous grin. then they both murmured something y/n couldn’t hear and next thing, won’s hands are holding him closer by the waist.

the girl almost gagged, but still grinned at her happy friends, wishing she could experience that with her special someone. her gaze fell down, remembering how her and sunghoon had practiced for that exact moment in the wedding.

✩ ‘if i could’ ✩

her lips trembled and tears pooled in her eyes but she pushed them away before smiling to herself, looking back at the faded memories.

✩ ‘i’d pull your strings for one more dance’ ✩

she remained lost in her thoughts, unaware of a figure in front of her when a cleared throat caught her attention. she glanced up and her heartbeats were suddenly the only thing she could hear.

sunghoon stood with a hand reached out, brows softly raised and lips slightly curled.

“i owe you a dance,” he uttered.

her heart throbbed quicker and she almost jumped to her feet, but she stopped. “sunghoon..,” she chewed her lips.

“just one dance.”

a sigh left her and she soon stood without thinking, taking grasp of the hands that perfectly molded with hers.

after reaching the dance floor, her arms snaked around his neck like it was natural and he beamed a quiet smile. his arms wrapped at her waist, keeping the grip light as he stared into her eyes.

y/n pulled him down closer, hands giving soft strokes in his hair just like when they were together.

✩ ‘from strangers to friends’ ✩

sunghoon breathed in this moment, taking in how it felt like nothing’s changed between them. his fingers dug into her dress a little more as he leaned in to bunk their heads together.

both of their eyes shut, noses grazing against each others with every slow inch they took. but they stopped, leaning away when they realized their lips were about to touch.

y/n shamed her head down and sunghoon gulped away the lump in his throat, both regretting their decision.

the girl soon laid her head against his chest, and he nuzzled his chin on top of her. she felt his heart begin syncing up with hers, rhythms pounding to prove that they still belonged to each other.

she savored every possible second of this, missing how she fell perfectly into his arms. everything felt right with him in her world.

✩ ‘friends into lovers’ ✩

tears welled in her eyes as she quickly sniffled, burying herself deeper into his comforting hold.

if for even one second, one or the other pulls away, she’d come to realize that he’d still remain a stranger with memories even after this slow dance.

“so what now?” y/n shakily mumbled against his warm chest.

sunghoon softly sighed, allowing her to feel it as he replied, “let’s just.. enjoy each other’s company for now.”

he paused, gulping down the pained cries in his throat when saying, “just before we have to actually let go.”

he felt the girl he loved sigh, knowing he was right.

“okay, hoon, one last dance before we leave this behind.”

✩ ‘and strangers again?’ ✩

she pulled away and glanced up at him with a forced grin plastered on. the male reflected it back as he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss against her forehead.

the two shut their eyes at the contact, tears flowing down. they were quickly pulled into the same position as before, where her head laid against his chest and his chin muzzled on top of it to hide their muffling cries.

“one last dance, gorgeous.”

feining for frat boy katsuki…

it was hot. loud. half the girls were already screaming over shirtless frat boys grinding against windshields. your friend dragged you out with a “come on, it’s for charity!” and now you’re standing in the corner with a lukewarm lemonade and zero expectations.

you didn’t even want to come to this stupid fraternity fundraiser.

your roommate dragged you out with the promise of half-naked frat boys, but all you’ve seen so far are drenched freshmen trying to flex their way into a hernia.

but then you see him.

he’s got his back turned at first—lean muscle, golden skin, red swim trunks slung way too low on his hips. sunlight catches the water dripping down his back like it’s staged. and when he turns around?

game over. he’s gorgeous.

sharp jaw, wild blonde hair flattened from water, a cocky little smirk on his face as he wrings a sponge out over his head, totally aware of the stares.

and he sees you. right away. ruby eyes locked with yours and gives the most arrogant little up-nod like, yeah. you’re next.

you try to act unaffected. fail immediately.

he saunters over, sudsy bucket in one hand, water dripping down his abs like it’s a fucking calvin klein ad. stops right in front of you, eyeing your car, then you, then your car again. “you the one drivin’ this piece of shit?”

you blink. “excuse me?!”

he shrugs but you can see a little grin tugging on the corner of his mouth, smug and unbothered. “relax. i’ll make it look brand new.”

he puts the bucket down, saunters over, and damn—he’s even hotter up close. tall. muscles for days. and that little scar on his cheek? unfair.

then, leaning closer, voice low: “the name's katsuki bakugo. what’s yours, sweet girl?”

you tell him. maybe a little breathless.

he repeats it once—slow, like he’s trying it out on his tongue. “hm. yeah. i like that.”

and then he goes to work. but not just on the car.

katsuki bakugo washes that car like he’s auditioning for the dirtiest boy band you’ve ever seen. dropping the sponge just to bend over in front of you, ass on full display. making eye contact when he slides his hand over the hood like he’s caressing it. watering himself down with a hose and shaking his hair out like he’s in a shampoo commercial from hell.

by the time he’s done, your car is sparkling. and so are you—flushed, flustered.

he tosses the sponge into the bucket, wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, and smirks. “lemme know if you need a private wash sometime.”

and then he walks away, with you watching the water dripping down the curve of his spine, no better than a teenage boy ogling the back of a girl's bikini. you swear you black out for a second too.

it’s only a few hours after the car wash before he slides in your dms, smooth but dirty. you’re in your room, still reeling from whatever the hell that was, when your phone buzzes.

king.explosionmurder has sent you a message.

(yeah. that’s his actual handle. because of course it is.) then, you open it.

king.explosionmurder:

can't stop thinking about the girl with the shittiest car and the cutest fuckin’ face.

you stare. then another message pops up.

king.explosionmurder:

u free tonight?

or maybe you're too busy being adorable somewhere else?

your heart does a thing. you type out a reply—something just barely cocky enough to match him:

you:

depends

you always this forward?

king.explosionmurder:

only for girls with shitty taste in cars

so, only you

let me buy you a drink, sweet girl?

you:

fine

you can buy me a drink, frat boy

but for the record?

my taste in cars is not that shitty

king.explosionmurder:

whatever you say beautiful

8 pm, sunset bar down 5th ave

don't be late

katsuki shows up five minutes early, in a black tee that clings to his chest and jeans that should be illegal. hair still messy from his post-car-wash shower. when you walk in, his eyes track you like you’re the only person in the room.

“tch. thought you were gonna flake.”

you roll your eyes. “you’d cry if i did.”

his mouth twitches. “like a damn baby.”

then the date just... hits different. it wasn't what you expected. sure, it’s packed with college students and frat bros, but in the back corner booth? with him?

it’s quiet. comfortable. almost… intimate.

he’s not much of a talker, but with you? he tries. you ask about his major—he’s an aspiring pro-hero, of course—and he asks about yours, grumbling when you light up talking about it, because “fuck, that smile’s gonna kill me.”

and even though he’d die before saying it out loud, the minute you take a sip of your drink and laugh at something dumb he says? he’s gone. head over heels.

he walks you back to your dorm with his hand on the small of your back, even though it’s barely a ten-minute walk. says “text me when you’re in” even though he literally watched you unlock your door. stands there, gruff and gorgeous, waiting.

“gonna invite me?” he asks, tone teasing.

you shake your head, grinning. “not on the first date, i'm not.”

he groans dramatically. “damn. fuckin’ killin’ me here.”

you grin. “goodnight, frat boy.”

but he doesn’t move right away.

just stands there under the warm porch light, one hand stuffed in his pocket, the other rubbing the back of his neck like he’s trying to work off the ache of not touching you again. his shirt clings to him in the summer heat, his jaw sharp in the glow, but it’s his eyes that freeze you in place.

not hard. not sharp. not the glare he usually levels at the world.

but soft. heavy. like you’ve stolen the breath from his lungs and he doesn’t even want it back.

he looks at you like you hung the damn moon.

he takes one small step closer, close enough that you can feel the heat coming off his chest, close enough that if either of you moved just an inch, you’d be kissing.

“goodnight, sweet girl,” he says, voice low and rough, like gravel laced with honey.

it hits you somewhere deep. like he’s branding the words into you.

and then—he actually smiles. a real one. lopsided, shy, the kind of smile you’d never expect from someone who threatens to body slam people over couch cushions.

then he turns and walks away, hands shoved deep in his pockets, head down, like if he looks back even once, he’ll do something stupid like run back and kiss you senseless.

you close the door behind you, heart thudding so hard you swear your roommate can hear it.

you’re screwed. so screwed.

because things after that? they move fast.

to everyone else, he was the guy who'd scream if you left dishes in the sink, throw a beer can at you if you sat on his side of the couch, and threaten to body slam you if you so much as breathe near him.

but the entire frat house knew that their loud, grumpy, terrifyingly efficient frat dad—had a soft spot the size of a planet. and that soft spot? was for you.

you’re the only person allowed in his room during his grumpy post-practice naps. the only one who can touch his hair without him flinching. he’d grumble when you flick his forehead when he was being dramatic but he'd let you.

he might curse under his breath, but when you’d slide onto his lap during movie night, he'd wrap an arm around you like it was instinct. like protecting you came as naturally as breathing.

he had snacks stocked in the mini fridge (not for him, you liked them). he hands you your favorite snack and grumbles, “was on sale. don’t get used to it,” even though it’s never on sale but he bought six of them anyway.

and when finals week hits? he’s a damn soldier for you.

caffeine runs. your favorite takeout. quiet growls at anyone who tries to talk to you in the library. he reads your flashcards like they’re enemy coordinates and quizzing you becomes his personal mission.

but the best part? the tiny, quiet moments in between.

like when he’s losing at mario kart and you’d sit in his lap while he played, steal his fries, kiss his cheek mid-rant just to shut him up.

or when you were too tired to walk back to your place, you just curl up in his bed. not only does he let you, he tucks the blanket around you and kisses your forehead so soft it makes your chest ache.

and somehow, all of that was like magic.

sure, he might’ve acted like the world’s most chaotic, aggressive frat president, but when it came to you? he was all bark, all bite… and all heart.

I can't believe I read this first thing as I opened this app 😭 This was cute and funny, though (this just validated my fear of pregnancy–still hell no to this and hell yeah to being single and non‐pregnant ¿ 🙏). Super love u, Daichi 😭🤍

Pregnancy: Daichi (NSFW)

You were officially forty-one weeks pregnant.

Forty-one weeks. Not thirty-nine. Not even the neat, ominous weight of forty. No, you had blown straight past your due date like a train with no brakes and were now living in the swollen purgatory of maternity hell—bloated, achy, short-tempered, and so fed up with your body that you would’ve gladly traded it in for a paper bag and a nap.

Your body ached in places you didn’t know could ache. Your back felt like it had been used as a trampoline in the night. Your hips were stiff. Your feet looked like they belonged to someone who’d spent ten hours standing in a swamp. And your belly? Your belly felt like it had become its own planet, stretching your skin so taut you were convinced you could drum a beat on it.

Nothing fit anymore. Not your clothes. Not your shoes. Not even your own skin, if you were honest. Your maternity leggings had officially waved the white flag. Your bras were lost causes. Your wedding rings had been stashed in a drawer weeks ago, too tight to slide over even a knuckle. And the seatbelt? Daichi had to adjust it for you now, like you were precious cargo—though to be fair, at this point, you basically were. He was careful and considerate and just a little too cheerful about it all, which made it even more infuriating.

“Got everything?” he asked softly, adjusting the strap of your maternity bag over his shoulder like it weighed nothing.

You didn’t look at him. You didn’t smile. You didn’t even grunt. You groaned—a long, low, theatrical sound of suffering as you slowly lowered yourself into the passenger seat like an elephant easing into a beanbag chair.

He took it in stride. He’d stopped taking anything personally around week thirty-seven.

Still, he reached across and placed his warm palm on your thigh once you were settled, rubbing his thumb in slow, steady circles. You didn’t push it away. You rested your hand on top of his and gave him a tired look that said, If I have to live in this body one more day, I will cry.

The car ride to the clinic was mostly quiet. You sighed a lot. Adjusted the air vents. Rolled down the window. Rolled it back up. Turned the A/C colder. Then warmer. Daichi drove patiently, sneaking occasional glances at you like he wanted to say something encouraging but also very much wanted to survive the day.

The clinic’s waiting room was somehow worse than usual. The chairs were uncomfortable, the light was too bright, and the cheerful wall art—baby elephants, pastel hearts, encouraging quotes in cursive—made you want to scream. You stared at the pamphlet beside you titled “Smiling Through the Third Trimester” with a level of disdain typically reserved for war crimes.

Daichi sat beside you flipping through a magazine that he absolutely wasn’t reading, occasionally peeking at you with quiet concern while trying not to make eye contact with the receptionist, who kept looking at you like you were a ticking time bomb.

When the nurse finally called your name, you heaved yourself up with a groan and waddled toward the hallway like a warrior going into battle. Daichi followed at a polite distance, like a man who knew better than to walk too close to a woman this pregnant and this pissed.

The exam room felt like a refrigerator. You plopped down on the crinkly paper with another long sigh, then glared at the stirrups like they’d personally wronged you. Daichi sat in the chair next to the table and gently rubbed your back, his thumb tracing light circles over your spine.

“Almost there,” he murmured, ever the optimist. “Just hang in a little longer.”

You turned your head to him, eyes half-lidded with exhaustion and fury. “I swear to god, Daichi. If one more person tells me I’m almost there, I will throw something. Possibly this table. Possibly you.”

He only smiled through it, squeezing your hand like he hadn’t just been threatened with airborne furniture.

When the doctor entered, she was all serene smiles and clinical calm, her tone chipper and maddeningly upbeat.

“Well,” she said after a quick check, “good news is you’re making progress. The baby’s definitely settling into position. But you’re still not quite there yet. I’d give it another few days.”

You stared at her like she’d just told you the world had been cancelled.

“More days?” you repeated, your voice a cracked whisper. “As in, plural? Like… multiple?”

The doctor gave a warm little chuckle. “It’s different for everyone, but yes, could be a few more. You’re doing great, though.”

Your jaw dropped. You made a noise that was somewhere between a sob and a scream, your hands clenching the edge of the table like it might steady you.

The doctor handed Daichi a brightly colored handout titled “Natural Ways to Encourage Labor.” It had illustrations of smiling pregnant women doing yoga and eating pineapple.

“Try some of these at home,” she said kindly. “Spicy food, gentle movement, maybe a warm bath. You’re almost there.”

Daichi nodded like the polite, helpful husband he was, tucking the paper into your maternity bag as you stood slowly, moving with the weary determination of someone who had carried life for too damn long.

The walk back to the car was slow and tense. You didn’t speak. You didn’t look at anyone. The receptionist offered a cheery “Good luck!” as you left and you very nearly flipped her off.

When Daichi helped you into the car again and got you buckled in, you exhaled long and hard, the sound more like a groan of existential dread than a sigh.

“I’m going to die pregnant,” you said flatly, head tipping back against the seat as your eyes glazed over. “This is it. This is how it ends for me. Swollen and sweaty in the passenger seat of a Toyota.”

“No, you’re not,” he said gently, lips twitching as he reached over to adjust your seatbelt one last time. “You’re going to give birth soon, and then this will all feel like a weird dream.”

You turned your head just enough to shoot him a dry look. “A weird dream where my hips feel like they’re being sawed in half and I haven’t seen my own feet in two months?”

He chuckled under his breath, brushing your hair out of your face. “I’m just saying, you’re doing amazing.”

“Don’t lie to me,” you snapped, though your voice lacked real venom. “I look like a pufferfish and I cry every time I drop something on the floor because I can’t pick it up anymore.”

“I pick it up for you,” he said, unbothered.

“Yeah, and I still cry!” You groaned louder, tossing your head back again. “I’m like a feral raccoon in maternity leggings. I can’t keep living like this.”

“You’re not a raccoon,” he said with a straight face. “You’re majestic. Fearsome. A hormonal goddess.”

You snorted so hard it startled a hiccup out of you. “Oh my god.”

“And soon,” he added, leaning closer to kiss your temple, “you’ll be holding the baby and none of this will matter.”

You didn’t move. You just stared up at the ceiling.

“Watch me die pregnant,” you said again. “They’ll write it on my tombstone.”

--

By the time you made it home, your mood had not improved. You kicked your shoes off at the door, grumbling as you peeled off your coat and waddled into the kitchen, leaving Daichi to trail behind you, pamphlet in hand and hope still stubbornly etched into his expression.

“Okay,” he said as you slumped down at the kitchen table, head in your hands. “Let’s try some of these. Worst case, they don’t work. Best case? Maybe we’ll get things moving.”

You didn’t respond right away. Just groaned into your palms.

He set the paper down gently in front of you. “It says spicy food might help. We could start there?”

You looked up with bloodshot eyes. “I want something violent. Like pepper-spray levels of spice.”

Daichi raised his eyebrows. “I’ve got extra hot chili ramen packets. You could probably weaponize them.”

“Perfect,” you growled. “Boil ‘em.”

Ten minutes later, you were perched on the couch with a bowl of nuclear noodles while Daichi sat beside you with his own, bravely taking a bite. He lasted all of three seconds before coughing into his fist, eyes watering.

“Oh my god—this hurts,” he rasped.

You, completely unaffected, slurped up another bite. “Nothing. Not even a twinge.”

He blinked at you, face red. “I’m going to need milk. And possibly CPR.”

You sighed and set the bowl aside. “Next idea.”

And so began the ridiculous journey.

You drank herbal teas that smelled like dirt and despair. You choked down thick slices of pineapple while muttering curses under your breath. You did the hip-opening stretches the pamphlet suggested, groaning with effort and telling Daichi that if this didn’t work you were going to shove a yoga ball down the stairs. He helped you do slow laps around the living room, hand on your lower back while you walked in increasingly impatient circles.

You even tried the dreaded castor oil. One teaspoon. Two. Mixed into orange juice so it wouldn’t taste like paint thinner. You gagged, glared, and gagged again. Daichi looked horrified but held the glass steady like he was assisting with a medical emergency.

Hours passed. The sun dipped lower in the sky. You had tried every single item on the pamphlet short of hiring a witch to chant over your uterus. And yet—nothing. No contractions. No discomfort. No sign the baby had any plans of evacuating. Just the same heavy weight in your belly and the constant ache of your ribs.

You threw yourself back onto the couch with a long, miserable sigh, your belly rising and falling like a dramatic mountain of defeat.

“This baby,” you declared, voice scratchy with exhaustion, “is never coming out. This is it. They’ve made a permanent home. They’re going to graduate college still inside me.”

Daichi, kneeling next to the couch, chuckled softly and leaned over to press a kiss to your forehead.

“Can you blame them?” he murmured. “You’ve made them a pretty amazing home.”

You blinked at him, half-touched and half-annoyed. “That’s not helpful.”

He grinned and sat back on his heels, picking the pamphlet up again with exaggerated patience. “Well, if they’re not leaving on their own, we’re gonna have to evict them.”

You groaned dramatically. “We’ve tried everything. I’ve eaten enough pineapple to singlehandedly wipe out Hawaii’s exports. I drank that weird tea that tastes like boiled weeds. I took castor oil, Daichi. Castor. Oil. Nothing works.”

He hummed, eyes skimming down the page.

Then he paused.

You watched as his brow arched just slightly.

“…What?” you said slowly.

He cleared his throat. “Well, technically… we haven’t tried everything.”

You narrowed your eyes. “What do you mean?”

He turned the pamphlet toward you and pointed at a single line with a very straight face.

“Intercourse may help induce labor.”

You stared. Then looked at him. Then back at the pamphlet.

Your eyes narrowed, your lips pressing into a line as the wheels in your head began to turn. For a long moment, you didn’t say a word. But something changed—visibly, unmistakably. Your posture shifted. Your breath stilled. Your entire demeanor settled into something focused, determined, just a little bit unhinged.

Daichi saw it immediately. He watched the transformation like someone witnessing a weather shift, like a man who’d seen the sky turn before a storm. His back straightened. His eyes went wide. He held up one hand as if you were a wild animal and he needed to de-escalate the situation.

“Babe—let’s just think this through—”

You sat up slowly. Deliberately. Every movement a signal.

Your voice dropped, calm but commanding, your eyes locked on his.

“…Get upstairs.”

Daichi followed you up the stairs like a man walking toward something both holy and terrifying.

You didn’t speak. Just kept your back straight, your breath steady, your feet deliberate on the steps. Every part of you radiated heat—rage, desperation, need. By the time you reached the bedroom, you were already tugging off your shirt, grumbling under your breath as it got stuck around your chest. You were a force of nature, belly full and breasts heavy, skin flushed with exertion and irritation.

“Help me,” you snapped, voice breathless.

Daichi was at your side in a second, pulling the fabric over your head, his hands lingering for just a second too long on the bare curve of your shoulder. It had been a while since the two of you had made love—between the fatigue, the constant discomfort, and the way your body had become less your own and more a vessel of life, intimacy had taken a quiet backseat. You missed it. Missed him. And he missed you—his touch tentative and reverent, like he was savoring the moment as much as you were. You turned to him, eyes burning.

“This baby is coming out tonight,” you said, voice low and deadly serious. “So get on the bed.”

He hesitated—not because he didn’t want to. He wanted to. God, did he want to. But his eyes kept flicking to your belly, the way it rounded out so full and taut, the faint sheen of sweat already glistening along your collarbone.

“Are you sure?” he asked, hand resting against your waist, careful and reverent. “I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You won’t,” you said, grabbing him by the wrist and guiding him toward the mattress. “And if you do, I won’t care. I need this.”

He let out a shaky breath as you pushed him down onto the bed and climbed over him. The tension between you was thick, every inch of skin electric. Months of abstaining made everything heightened—your nerves tingled where his fingers grazed your hips, and his breathing hitched every time you shifted above him. His hands went instinctively to your thighs as you straddled him, palms warm and wide and trembling just slightly.

You leaned down to kiss him, hard and fast, teeth scraping his bottom lip as you ground your hips against his crotch. He gasped, his body already responding beneath you.

“Fuck,” he groaned, pressing his forehead to your shoulder. “You’re gonna kill me.”

“Good,” you muttered, dragging your fingers down his chest. “Then we’ll die together.”

He chuckled breathlessly, then hooked his fingers in your waistband, easing your underwear off your hips with slow, reverent care. When he touched you, his fingertips sliding through the wet heat between your thighs, he exhaled like he was in awe.

“You’re soaked,” he whispered, voice tight, eyes dark with restraint.

“I’m ready,” you breathed, rolling your hips into his touch.

He didn’t argue. He pushed his boxers down and kicked them off, his cock thick and flushed against his stomach. He gripped it at the base, ready to guide himself in, but you brushed his hand aside and positioned yourself with shaking thighs.

“Let me,” you murmured.

And then you sank down, slow and deep, the stretch sharp enough to make you gasp. Your hands clutched his shoulders, fingernails digging into his skin as you took him all the way in, inch by aching inch.

Daichi groaned, low and guttural, his head tipping back against the pillows. “Jesus, you’re so tight—fuck—”

You paused, hips resting flush against his, just breathing. The fullness was overwhelming, perfect, exactly what you needed.

When you started to move, it was unhurried. The sensitivity of not having touched like this in weeks made every motion feel magnified—every grind, every squeeze, every brush of skin set fire to your nerves. You both gasped more than once, surprised by how much you'd missed this, missed each other. Deep, rolling thrusts that had you grinding down with every motion, drawing small sounds from your throat as your body adjusted to the rhythm.

Daichi’s hands moved to your waist, holding you steady, thumbs stroking gentle circles along your skin.

“You’re incredible,” he murmured, his voice shaky. “You’re carrying our baby, and you still want me like this?”

“I don’t want you,” you corrected breathlessly. “I need you.”

Your pace picked up, just slightly, each roll of your hips drawing gasps from both of you. The bed creaked under the rhythm, your swollen belly brushing against his chest every time you leaned in to kiss him, desperate and messy and aching.

He slid one hand up to cup your breast, thumbing over your nipple until you arched into him. Your moan was sharp, needy, your body clenching tight around him.

“Fuck, sweetheart,” he groaned, fingers tightening on your hip. “You’re so—god, you feel so good.”

You chased the friction, riding him harder, faster, the pressure building between your legs in thick, pulsing waves. He met your thrusts now, his hips lifting off the bed, his face buried against your neck as he groaned into your skin.

When your orgasm hit, it slammed through you like a tidal wave, your body locking up around him as you gasped his name, trembling all over. He held you through it, rocking you gently, murmuring praise into your shoulder until your shudders turned to aftershocks.

Then he flipped you gently onto your back, careful with your belly, bracing himself above you as he drove into you with long, deep strokes, chasing his own edge.

You watched him through hooded eyes, heart racing, mouth parted in a soft, dazed smile. He looked wrecked—sweat-damp hair, flushed cheeks, jaw clenched with restraint as he fucked you slow and deep.

“I’m close,” he warned, voice fraying.

You cupped his face, nodding, heart still thudding from your own climax. “It’s okay. Come inside me. I want to feel you.”

With a broken sound, he buried himself to the hilt, groaning your name as he came, thick pulses filling you, his body trembling with release. You wrapped your arms around him as he collapsed slowly beside you, one arm still curled protectively across your middle, his breath hot against your shoulder.

Neither of you said anything for a long while. The room was warm and quiet, filled only with the soft sounds of your breathing. His hand smoothed over your belly, the rise and fall of it still unsteady. You were both flushed, glistening with sweat, chests heaving.

You turned your head toward him slightly, letting out a huff of a laugh. “Well… at least I feel better.”

Daichi huffed a laugh, his voice still rough. “Honestly? Same. Not sure if we jumpstarted labor or just obliterated our spines, though.”

You both lay there for a beat longer, catching your breath, limbs tangled, and the faint hum of calm settling over you.

Eventually, you shifted, groaning softly as you sat up on your elbows. “Okay,” you said, voice still breathy, “I should probably clean up—”

And then it happened.

A sudden, warm rush.

You blinked. Froze. Looked down.

“…Oh my god,” you whispered. “Daichi.”

He sat up slowly, still half-lost in the afterglow. “Hmm?”

You stared at the sheets beneath you, soaked through in a way that was definitely not from sex.

“My water broke,” you said, blinking again. The shock in your voice cut through the air.

Daichi’s head snapped toward you.

“My water broke,” you repeated, louder this time, voice rising in panic. “Daichi, my fucking water broke.”

The adrenaline that had left your limbs warm and loose now twisted into pure, electric panic.

He was moving before you could spiral further, sitting up and cupping your face with both hands.

“Hey, hey—look at me,” he said quickly, steadying your breathing with his voice. “It’s okay. We’re okay.”

You nodded, dazed, still processing the rush of adrenaline and disbelief. Just moments ago, you had been begging for something to happen—for anything to finally signal the end. And now that it had, now that it was really happening, your heart felt like it might explode with the sheer weight of it. You had wanted this so badly. You had cursed the waiting. And yet now, the second it arrived, you were caught somewhere between terror and awe.

“I wanted this,” you whispered, almost to yourself. “I wanted this to happen.”

Daichi brushed a strand of damp hair away from your face, smiling warmly. “You did. And now it’s happening.”

You exhaled a shaky laugh, voice cracking. “I’m terrified.”

“I know,” he said, cupping your cheek with a hand as steady as his voice. “Me too. But we’re ready. You’re ready.”

You nodded again, tears welling in your eyes, this time from joy—not just from fear or exhaustion. You were going to meet your baby. Tonight. Maybe in just a few hours.

Daichi pressed a kiss to your forehead before swinging his legs off the bed, already grabbing the overnight bag he had packed and repacked a dozen times.

“Let’s go meet our baby,” he said, voice warm and certain.

And this time, you smiled through the chaos. Because it was finally happening—and you weren’t doing it alone.

“fuck… what do i do…” the stressed boy walks back and forth in his hotel room, thoughts running through his head. he finally sat down his bed and placed his hands on his face, feeling embarrassed of what he is about to do.

as a man in his 20s, it was probably embarrassing how he can’t sleep fully alone, hence why he has roommates. although he sleeps alone in his room at home, it was different. it was loud back home, heeseung often playing online with his best friend beomgyu, screaming at each other, so he feels alright knowing someone was there. but here, it was too quiet and it creeped him out.

your head raised up from your pillow as you heard a knock on your hotel room door, halting you from the random cooking show you were watching on the television. grabbing your phone, your eyes squint as the brightness of your phone blinds you, quickly adjusting it down. 2:03 am.

who the hell? you thought, hesitantly getting up from your bed. maybe it’s a drunk person mistaken your room with theirs? or what if it’s a creepy person? gosh you watch too many crime shows.

you let out an airy breath, peaking through the peephole of the white door, feeling relief once you see jay, who seemed to looked bothered.

opening the door, you felt yourself smile at the boy, whose ears were turning red. “i’m sorry, did i wake you?” shaking your head, you glanced back behind you, the television playing in the background. "no, i couldn't really sleep... same for you?"

he nodded, scratching the back of his neck. "um, do you think, uh..."

you tilted your head as the boy struggles with his words, making your heart flutter. it's cute how your boyfriend still feels shy around you. "what is it, jay?"

"can i sleep with you? i mean, next to you? if that's alright,"

you let out a giggle, nodding softly.

you gently took his hand in yours, rubbing your thumb on the back of his hand. “come in.” you pulled the boy in your room, before you let go of his hand to crawl back under your covers, patting the empty space next to you.

jay took no time and crawled beside you, already feeling comfortable compared to earlier when he was by himself. you looked at your boyfriend, seeing how much space he left for you, making your heart flutter. he was such a gentleman, and you love how he always ask you when it comes to intimacy things.

it’s a first time for you two as a couple to be traveling together, and this is also the first time you both get to be on the same… well, bed.

glancing at the boy who already was looking at you, giving you a slight smile. he wanted to be sure you were comfortable of him being there.

“you know you can come closer. we can cuddle.” you whispered the last part, feeling your heart beating out of your chest. “alright, only because you say so.” he responds.

he scooted closer, his arm lifted up, unsure where to place it, making you smile. taking his arm, you draped it over your waist, snuggling closer to his body. your arm have also wrapped itself around his waist, feeling comfy.

you were so close to him that he could feel your breath fanning on his neck, making him giddy. you felt his hand began stroking your lower back lightly, moving his head a bit so he could face you, wanting to see your face.

you look so beautiful, even without your usual makeup on. the way he looks at you makes you melt. he was admiring you like you were a piece of art, which he thinks you are. “how are you so beautiful?” he whispered, his hand finding its way to your cheek, stroking it softly with his thumb, making your eyes flutter.

although you had been dating for quite a while, you were still at that stage where you two were taking things slow, even kissing each other took a while. so this is still a very nerve-racking thing.

you slowly leaned towards the boy, pressing your lips on his, feeling him kiss back, his arm around your waist tightens. "i'm literally the luckiest man in the world, you know that?" that made your stomach flip, smiling into the kiss.

he held you as if it was the end of the world, not wanting to let you go. "i love you." he loves you, a lot. he knew that the moment he saw you, and he wasn't afraid to say it. you, on the other hand, know that you feel something special for him, but you aren't ready to say those three words yet, and you feel guilty.

"you're thinking about it again." jay pulls from the kiss, staring into your eyes. "i told you that it's okay if you don't say it. i can wait. i don't care how long it takes."

"sorry, it's just i feel horrible. i-" you looked down for a second before his hand lifted your chin, seeing him smile at you softly. "i will wait. i will always wait when it comes to you." you nodded and felt him stroke your hair.

jay kept stroking your hair, humming a song to you as your eyes slowly closed, sleep taking over you.

"i'll keep waiting for you." he mumbled into your hair as he held you. and he means it because, to him, you're always worth waiting for.

he soon quickly drifted into sleep after you, holding each other, comfy in each other's presence.

genre: bf!heeseung x gn!reader, MAJOR fluff

note: hello everyone! long time no see! :D i hope you all are doing well. i finally found the motivation to begin writing again and i was just ITCHING to write for hee. i hope you all enjoy this short time stamp!

important: the gifs used are not mine and i give full credits to the rightful owners

10:30 Pm

after the long and stressful day you had, you felt like your head might implode. the only thing you could think of was your boyfriend and how badly you wanted to go home to him.

it was nice to share an apartment with someone you love. you felt like life was finally coming together. all of the pieces were falling into place. you had a job, a nice car, a beautiful apartment and an even prettier boyfriend.

heeseung had the day off from work and decided to stay home since this was a rare occasion for him. when you turned the key into the keyhole of your front door, you were met with an adorable hee.

he was wearing a gaming headset, a controller in his hands while his fingers moved frantically against the buttons. all you could hear was little clicks of the buttons and soft mutters from him while you softly closed the door behind you.

he didn’t even take a glance at the door. his gaze was completely fixed on the game in front of him.

you decided to do something cute. something that would hopefully take his attention from the television that his eyes were currently glued on.

after kicking off your shoes at the front door, you slowly and softly walked to the couch where your boyfriend sat.

heeseung looked even more heavenly up close. a plain white tee complimented his toned chest and broad shoulders. blue plaid pajama pants hugged around his slim waist and, of course, he had on a pair of cozy socks for the indoor relaxing he had done all day.

you, on the other hand, were not relaxed at all. so the idea you had was perfect and would benefit the both of you. after all, heeseung loved holding you. especially on his lap.

with that thought, you walked around the couch and in front of him where you were met with a shocked expression on his face from the suddenness of your appearance. he attempted to take off his headphones but, you had to admit you felt bad for pulling him away from his game.

like stated before, having a day off of work was rare for him. he never had the chance to sit and play games so you wanted him to have that.

you lifted his arms just enough to tuck your head under them while you crawled onto him and straddled his waist. in a swift motion you were on his lap with your head rested on his chest.

he smelled amazing. clean laundry mixed in with that expensive and fresh cologne he wears. you swore it couldn’t get better than this.

listening to his heartbeat, his arms were wrapped around you with his controller still in his hands. he pressed a couple soft kisses to your shoulder, whispering an “i love you” before resting his chin against it.

yeah, this is exactly what you needed.

kiss, kiss, kiss. — kim sunoo 김선우

masterlist ; warnings none genre fluff

getting ready to bed with your boyfriend, sunoo.

Kiss, Kiss, Kiss. — Kim Sunoo 김선우
Kiss, Kiss, Kiss. — Kim Sunoo 김선우
Kiss, Kiss, Kiss. — Kim Sunoo 김선우

“whoa, today was quite a day,” sunoo brushed his hair back with his hand. moving away his bangs as he put a headband on. he glanced at you in the mirror, a smile quietly forming on his lips as he watched you wearing your own headband, “how was your day?”

“i'm beat,” you put just the right amount of toothpaste on your brush. your eyes caught sunoo's in the mirror, “it was fun, a little absurd, but fun.”

his smile grew bigger as he watched you brush your teeth, “oh, really? tell me about it!” sunoo picked up his own toothbrush and started brushing his own.

you took your time to brush your teeth while sunoo patiently waiting for your answer with a smile on his face, “i accidentally met my old friends on the way home,” you said after you spit out your toothpaste. you wiped your mouth and excitedly continued, “apparently one of them moved not so far from here, and they asked me to come to have a housewarming party with them. i'm not even that close with them, it was really awkward and a soul-sucking moment. gosh, it was totally t—”

out of the blue, sunoo abruptly kissed your cheek. leaving a tiny toothpaste foam on it. he was smiling from ear to ear.

you gasped, “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” you touched your cheek, jokingly annoyed by the kiss. though, it's actually woke up a lot of butterflies in your stomach.

sunoo laughed thrilled at your reaction. he washed his mouth and his toothbrush before putting it on the glass next to yours, “oh my god, you're so cute.”

“excuse me?” you asked as if you were offended by his words but you couldn't hide the redness on your cheeks and ears.

sunoo obviously noticed your flustered face. he was grinning as his soft hands went to cup your face, “i said you're cute,” he giggled before giving a peck on your lips, you could smell the mint from toothpaste he used before, “and you're so pretty,” he left another peck on your lips, “and i love you soooo much,” sunoo put his lips on yours once again. but this time it lasts a little bit longer.

you didn't know how to react, so you just stood there totally giving in to his touch as he pampered you with kisses. maybe it's by the rule for sunoo to kiss you at least three times before going to bed.

A/N: and with this, the story of CH!HoonY/N ends. 🩵

if you've been with me since the beginning of this sm au, you know exactly just how much I've loved and enjoyed yet also struggled to work on this beautiful piece. It's definitely the one smau which took me the longest, mostly because life got in the way and i kept taking breaks in between but also because the pressure got to me at the end and i will gladly admit that. at the end of the day, i'm just human and i'm a writer, i'm someone who tried to cope using literature snd writing and when things got too much in all aspects of life, i just couldnt pour as much of my heart into this smau as i had initially intended to.

regardless of everything that has happened towards the end, i hope you guys still enjoyed it very much and mostly i hope you all know just how much i love and appreciate you all. the ammount of love, support but also immense patience i've received is something i will forever cherish and keep close to my heart. you guys are the best and i genuinely can't wait to start new journeys with you all by my side.

i will definitely be taking a bit of a longer break from smaus but dont worry! i will be eriting one shots and you guys know me, i can't stfu at all so stay tuned!!! i love you all so so so much. take care xx zadie 🤍

1:33am — kozume kenma

note: timeskip!

1:33am — Kozume Kenma

“i’m home!” the door of you and kenma’s home opened with a loud sound as your husband came staggering through the door with kuroo and yaku supporting either side of him.

you walked downstairs and looked at the scene in disbelief. just how much did he drink?

“ah, (y/n). kenma went over a little past his limit.” you only raised an eyebrow at kuroo’s statement

a little, really? kenma perked up when kuroo said your name, a hazy smile on his face.

“(y/n)..” your boyfriend drawled out, reaching forward and escaping his former schoolmates’ hold on him. the sudden motion caused him to lose balance, making him land on the hard floor with a dull thud.

with a big sigh, you looked at kuroo and yaku who were a little less drunk than the two toned male before thanking them. “i’ll take it from here.” the two nodded at your words, obviously out of their minds as they staggered outside the door with kai waiting for them.

“ow, it hurts...” kenma whined from where he was lying down, his forehead was still connected to the floor. you made him turn around and you bit back laughter after seeing a red mark on the middle of his forehead.

“kenma, get up.” you say gently, trying to help elevate his heavy and intoxicated body.

“it hurts right here...” he pouts, pointing at his nose. you wanted to scoff at the child your boyfriend was acting like right now, but you needed to at the very least make him stand up.

“if you stand up, then i’ll make it go away~” at this point it felt like you were talking to a child, at the way that he pouted and whined at you.

“no… i’ll be better when you kiss me.” you blinked owlishly at his response, knowing the sober kenma would never say that upright.

“kenma, stop being ridiculous. stand up and let’s get you cleaned up.”

“if you kiss me, i’ll stand up by myself.” he gave you a dopey smile, thinking that he was witty with his compromise. “hey~!” he drawled out, tugging on your sleeve. “if you don’t hurry up, i’ll freeze here and get sick.” his eyes still were not in focus as he said this.

“hey… there… hurry up!” you still resisted, the pout was deepening every passing moment. you weighed out the pros and cons of kissing your drunk boyfriend.

you didn’t get to dwell on your thoughts too much as you felt kenma tug at your sleeve sharply, you fell into his chest as he sat up and latched his lips to your own.

his kiss was sloppy, you can taste the alcohol that he drank earlier. his eyes were closed as he pushed his tongue deeper in your throat, you closed your eyes and let him dominate the kiss. soft moans tumbled carelessly from your boyfriend as he pressed you closer

after a few seconds of swapping saliva, you pulled away. kenma smiled, eyes still closed as he placed his head on your shoulder.

“hehe… i’m so happy.” he said, eyes opening and running a hand on your features. you smiled at him before standing up and holding out a hand.

“mm, you got what you wanted. now let’s get you cleaned up.” he shakily stood up, leaning on you for more support. you pecked the side of his forehead as the two of you made your way to the bathroom.

“(y/n)...” he whined, you hummed a response.

“i love you.” you smiled and looked at him through the mirror, his eyes filled with unfiltered love. he was smiling hazily at you as you began washing his face.

“i love you too.”
