A/N. ! i wrote this a while ago, and since i don’t rlly have anything prepared, i thought i’d just post this early since i’m experiencing a lack of inspiration to write anything lately anyways djdjdjd

“hey, hey! what’s wrong?” jay asked, concern filling his voice as he quickly made his way over to you.

you were now sitting up right on the couch after having just woken up from a vicious nightmare, the terrible feelings still lingering within your chest from just moments before.

jay sat down beside you.

“bad dream?” he asked softly, lifting up one of his hands and brushing strands of hair away from your face.

you nodded sadly, leaning your head against his chest as his arms engulfed your tired form.

“let’s go to sleep, okay?” he asked you. “i’ll bring you to bed.”

you shook your head, “i don’t wanna.”

“why-“

“i’m scared i’m gonna dream about it again. i can’t,” you told him fearfully as you sat up to look into his eyes.

“don’t worry, love. it’s highly, highly unlikely to happen,” he responded. “plus, i’ll be right by your side. you have nothing to be scared of. and if anything ever happens to you, i’ll protect you, no matter what.”

he left a kiss on your cheek.

“now let’s go,” he told you, patting your head lightheartedly as he began to stand up, pulling you along with him with his other hand. “i’ve got you.”

it was midnight as you and heeseung were cuddling on his bed. the soft snores of his breath could be heard as your chest rose and fell with every breath you took. adding to that, heeseung’s head was placed on your chest, his cheeks squished against you. you smiled at the boy that was lying on you.

you loved him. you did. even though he had a rough week, you never failed to remind him that you were always gonna be there for him. and even when he let out a few tears from frustration, you held him so that he could let everything out. he was thankful for you, even if he didn’t show it.

heeseung’s eyes opened as he blinked a few times. he lifted his head from you chest and looked up at you. you turned your attention from you phone to the boy that jus woke up and was looking at you. “hi” you smiled as leaned in to kiss his forehead. he smiled softly at you.

your eyes diverted to the messy hair on his head. you let out a quick laugh and covered your mouth with your hand. heeseung looked at you confused. you shook your head as you moved your hands over to his head and started fixing his hair for him. he looked at you as you continued with what you were doing.

“there we go” you said as you removed your hands to inspect what you did. heeseung leaned in to kiss your cupids bow as a thanks for your efforts. you blushed at the action. he took this as the sign to do it again.

after many kisses around your lips, you got frustrated at how he was kissing every where except your lips. you huffed out in annoyance and pouted at him slightly. heeseung took the time to laugh as smiled at you. cute, he thought.

he finally leaned in to kiss your lips. you closed your eyes as you felt his soft lips move against yours. he pulled away too quickly for your liking and before you could say anything else, he leaned to place one last kiss on your cupids bow before resting his head on your chest again.

if you asked him what he loved most, he would probably say these moments. where he could act like himself without caring about anyone judging him or watching him. jus you and him.

summary: sunghoon never really believed in love until he was in it, and now that he was, it was everything.

a/n: thank you for 400 followers! this was inspired by something i wrote on my other blog for sakusa kiyoomi (don't ask)

love was powerful; it was strong and capable of change, and sunghoon learned that with you. he firmly believed that love could change someone. 

because it changed him. 

sunghoon never considered love, not really. he liked himself enough but he had never truly loved himself. his entire life, people had told him how talented he was and how handsome he was, but he never truly accepted any of the claims. 

despite his own turmoil, sunghoon loved you. god, he loved you. he loved you more than life; more than the tide loved the moon, more than the plants loved the sun. he loved you more than he ever thought possible. 

and you loved him. god, did you love him. you loved him so much that he had no choice but to love himself just as much. or at least, he tried to. 

he had always hated his fangs; his pointy canine teeth that always made his smile look abnormal. but when you poked them, smiling when they made an appearance, mumbling about how adorable and boyish he looked, sunghoon had no choice but to start loving them. 

he had hated his beauty marks; hated how they were scattered across his face in an organized manner. but when you first kissed them, telling him that “they’re beautiful, hoonie. just as you are” he no longer wanted to scratch them off. all he yearned for now was the days that you sat on his lap and pressed small kisses to the marks on his cheek and nose while playing with his fingers. 

sunghoon was absolutely, hopelessly, completely, passionately, insanely, and desperately in love with you. 

and anyone who had the chance to look at both of you together, would know. 

perhaps the most surprising day of his members’ lives was when they stumbled upon the soft moments between you and sunghoon and had the opportunity to see the way he truly loved you; feverishly and fondly. 

one evening, heeseung had come to practice half and hour early and when he stepped into the practice room, his eyes landed on you and sunghoon in the middle of the barely lit room. you spoke animatedly about something. he watched curiously as sunghoon gently twirled you in circles, smiling when you broke into giggles mid sentence. heeseung’s jaw fell to the floor when you began to twirl sunghoon, trying your best as you stood on your toes and he could only laugh. 

jay had witnessed sunghoon’s love for you when he found him in the dorm’s kitchen, trying to cook you a full course meal because you had a bad day. jay could only stand there with wide eyes as three videos played simultaneously, guiding sunghoon on a single recipe. he watched carefully as sunghoon danced around the kitchen, smiling when his friend added the wrong ingredients with confidence. 

jake had seen sunghoon’s love for you when sunghoon had come into practice with his hair braided, not a single care as the rest of the members stared at him. sunghoon was very possessive about his hair; it being one of the only things he liked best about himself. and to have you braid it–touch it–jake was amazed. even he couldn’t touch sunghoon’s hair without a slap to the hand. 

the younger members had witnessed sunghoon’s overwhelming love for you after a concert, when he jumped off stage and you ran to him, jumping into his arms. jungwon’s mouth was already agape at the sight of someone touching sunghoon in public. riki and sunoo’s eyes widened when sunghoon pressed a kiss to your lips. it was quick, but visible. he was just so happy, and he didn’t mind the audience.

sunghoon loved you in the most selfless way possible; by unconsciously loving himself. 

he loved you by coming to terms with himself, realizing that he had so much to offer when you were perfectly happy with who he was, with what he gave you. 

park sunghoon loved you with his whole heart, and then some. 

laying next to you now, sunghoon had never felt more loved. with your head resting in the crook of his neck and your hand on top of his heart as you pressed soft kisses to his jaw, sunghoon was absolutely sure that you loved him the way he loved you. 

your love had changed sunghoon, and in return, he loved you with everything he had.

“hey, you okay?” jake asked when he saw your empty eyes. he shifted his attention from the group's conversation to your tired face.

you blinked, “huh? uh, yeah,” you tried to smile assuring him. but his eyebrow frowned, he started to caress your hand.

“do you feel sick?” his fingers found their way to hold your hand, “is the headache coming back?” now his soft hand is on your forehead, trying to check your temperature.

“no, i'm just a little tired,” you said with another smile, “thank you for worrying me, jake.”

the continuous splashing and sloshing of water finally came to an end as you turned the bathtub faucet off.

“done,” you told jungwon as you finished washing his hair, going to grab a towel for his dripping locks.

he was leaning over the wall of the tub, head down as he let the droplets fall inside.

once acquired, you placed the towel over his head, and you both stood up as you began to dry his hair.

he faced you and rested his head on your shoulder, followed by his arms tiredly wrapping around your waist.

it was the end of the day, and jungwon was exhausted from all of his busy tasks from work, this was just what he needed to relax.

“wonie,” you breathed out a chuckle as you pushed his head gently off your shoulder and in front of your face where you could see his eyes properly, “i can’t dry your hair when you’re resting on me like this. stay standing straight, okay?”

a frown formed on his lips, and he shook his head as he let out in the softest, most precious voice, “i don’t want to.”

at the sound and sight of an exhausted jungwon, your shoulders fell, only now realizing that they were slightly tensed up this entire time. a small smile then made its way to your lips as an idea popped into your head. you held the side of his face with one hand, leaning in and began placing kisses over every inch of his face, beginning with his nose, up to his forehead, circling down to his chin and lips, and all the way back to the other side of his face.

he closed his eyes and you felt a smile creep up to his lips and dimples forming in his soft cheeks.

“good?” you asked, and he opened his eyes and let out a giggle.

“i like this,” he said.

“okay, now just stay like this, and let me dry your hair before we continue—“ you paused before moving your finger between him and yourself “—this.”

he chuckled and nodded at your little offer, allowing you to dry his hair properly this time. and so you did just that, then before you knew it, he stopped you, saying his hair was dry enough, and eagerly, he wasted no time in continuing where you two left off.

synopsis : getting your wisdom teeth removed was hard, but it was easier with jay by your side.

If you were being quite frank, getting your wisdom teeth removed was one of your biggest fears. It had all of your least favorite things; dentists, ansisthea, being in pain. The sense of dread and anxiety you felt when your dentist said you needed to get your wisdom removed consumed you for the weeks leading up to the procedure. You would’ve skipped the appointment altogether if it weren’t for boyfriend, Jay, being oh-so-persuading.

Despite all that, here you are now. Sitting in the recovery room of your dentist's office with a swollen face, numb mouth, and slightly delirious mind. Staring absentmindedly ahead and out the window as you listened to the nurse bustle in the background, as she prepared you instructions for your recovery. You observed the way the trees blew in the wind, and the way the overgrown grass of the field across from the dentist's office swayed in the breeze.

Suddenly you were ripped from your peaceful thoughts when you saw Jay enter the room from your peripheral vision. His raven hair fell so beautifully in front of his eyes, and his face gave a beautiful smile when he saw you sitting there. You quickly turned your head in order to see Jay's beautiful face.

“Jay~” You called out in a sweet voice, unusual from your own.

“Y/n~” He called back, matching your tone.

As he sauntered over to your chair, you reached your arm out to him. Jay smiled as he could tell from only being in the room a minute, just how loopy the anesthesia had made you.

“How are you feeling?” He said softly as he bent down to talk to you.

“Fuzzy.” You whispered back with a goofy smile adorning your features.

Not caring for the nurse in the room, you puckered your lips and gave Jay a kiss on the cheek. Ignoring how sore it made your mouth, and how embarrassed you would normally feel to show so much PDA.

Jay let out a soft laugh at the way you rubbed your cheek after you kissed him.

“Don’t laugh at me.” you let out in a whining tone, once again unusual from your own.

“I’m sorry, you just look silly.” Jay whispered to you, before planting a kiss on your forehead.

“I thought you weren’t going to come back” you whispered as you leaned into his touch.

“Why would you think that?” He whispered back.

“I don’t know.” You whispered as Jay began to laugh at you again.

“Stop laughing. It’s not funny.”

“But it is.” He laughed.

The two of you went back and forth before the nurse came over to Jay and handed him all the things needed for your recovery.

“Can we get milkshakes?” You called out as he looked over the papers the nurse had just handed him.

“Sure.” He laughed as he put down the papers and held his hand out for you.

You grabbed his hand as you slowly made your way out of the chair and out of the dentist office. Though you didn’t feel the best, everything was better with Jay by your side.
