I'm gonna lose so many followers over this but anyone who ships UA teachers x students or bakudeku. Please do not bring bakudeku near me. I've seen too much of that shit on tumblr and tiktok. It's abusive and not cool and we shouldnt be romanticizing abuse like "if he's mean to you, he likes you." Theres a difference between being moody and downright being an asshole and telling someone to kill themselves
Literally ship anything else
Edit: if you ship Eri with anyone then my friend will come to your house and steal your kneecaps
I don’t see much discussion about Fury’s conversation with Tony in Age of Ultron, which I think cements Fury as the closest thing to a positive father figure in Tony’s life. After Fury chews him out for inventing Ultron, he tries to pull Tony out of the lowest point in the movie. So Tony pours all of his regret and fears into the last sympathizing ear left in what I think is a very vulnerable and well-done scene for Tony’s character arc. Tony: You’re not the director of me. Fury: I’m not the director of anybody. I’m just an old man who cares very much about you. Tony: And I’m the man who killed the Avengers.
Tony: I saw it. I didn’t tell the team. How could I? I saw them all dead, Nick. I felt it. The whole world too. Because of me. I wasn’t ready. I didn’t do all I could.
Fury: The Maximoff girl, she’s working you, Stark. Playing on your fear. Tony: I wasn’t tricked, I was shown. Wasn’t a nightmare, it was my legacy. The end of the path I started us on.
Fury: You come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony. War isn’t one of them. Tony: I watched my friends die. You’d think that’d be as bad as it gets, right? Nope. It wasn’t the worst part. Fury: The worst part is that you didn’t.
Fury understands who Tony truly is. He knows where to cut through the evasive bullshit and get to the meat of Tony’s insecurities and foibles, but not to cut him down - to raise him back up. And most of all, he’s an old man that cares very much about him.
My requirement for Ryuji ships:
-Ryuji being loved -Ryuji being cherished -Not being treated like trash
Kuniki/Dazai
He looks like vanilla pudding with that chocolate syrup bottom... I can't get that off my mind...-
Anyway, the pallette here was tough mainly because I had to adjust a lot of Kunikida's colors since Bones decided to make them the most horrible shade of greenish yellow....
Otherwise, he was fun.

What she says: I'm fine
What she means: it's canonical fact that ryuji sakamoto is an abuse survivor, both in personal and professional life. An alcoholic father that everyone knew about to at least talk poorly of in relation to ryuji's anger when treated unfairly, Kamoshida's verbal and physical abuse to the point that it disabled ryuji and ruined his chances at an athletic scholarship and potentially the Olympics, and the treatment of the student body who ostracized him to the point of almost quitting school before his meeting with the protagonist. And despite all that injustice and therefore, justified anger, ryuji still finds it in himself to be kind to the point of self- destruction. Every action he's undertaken in the face of literal evil has been on behalf of others: wanting to take down Kamoshida because of the man's abhorrent actions towards the student body, almost getting hit by a car in pursuit of Makoto and the mafia, picking a fight with Haru's shit fiance, and almost dying on Shido's ship to save the team. This canonically abused character still finds it in him to be compassionate, to fight for others because he believes himself too late to be saved. His greatest strength is in reaching out and lending a hand to others, regardless of their reputation or actions, i.e. him screaming for protagonist to run despite not knowing him at all beforehand in Kamoshida's palace, him agonizing and screaming for Akechi despite the latter's unjustifiable murders, and his quickness to jump to any of the teammates' aid when threatened. The fact that despite all of this information about ryuji, the game narratively continues to shit on him and overlooks his past abuse and circumstances in favor for comedic effect: him letting himself get beat by ex-track team members to alleviate their anger, the phantom thieves' treatment in ignoring his side of things, not defending him when others berate him, famously beating him right after he almost lost his life trying to save them, and leaving him alone in sketchy places because he "deserved" it, and it was "funny". It is to the point that, as if punishing ryuji isn't enough within the game, both gameplay and anime highlights his only redeeming feature in being so self- loathing that it increases his need to sacrifice himself, well-being be damned. Ryuji sakamoto is a loyal sweetheart while also being as flawed as anyone, yet is hated for those same flaws. it makes my blood boil at the unfairness, how not even in reality is he in safe hands. And by that, I cry about it all the time.
