You Tsk At The Bite Mark On Umemiya’s Neck As You Carefully Replace The Bandage. “Getting Love Bites

You tsk at the bite mark on Umemiya’s neck as you carefully replace the bandage. “Getting love bites from someone else now? I can’t believe it.”

He lets out a hearty laugh. “Of course, what do you think I do when I’m out on patrol all day?”

He’s joking of course; you know he’s not tucked into some dark corner with someone else’s lips on his neck. You’d gotten the run down from Hiragi when the fight with Shishitoren went down, you know who’s teeth mar your boyfriend’s neck.

You poke at the bite. “How’s it feel?”

He winces. “Still a little tender, so…”

You clean it quickly and replace the bandage. “All better, yeah?”

Ume puts a finger to his chin, like hes thinking. “I think it’s missing something actually.”

Your brows furrow. “No, I’m pretty sure I got everything that Kotoha told me to get.”

“Aren’t you supposed to kiss it better?”

You roll your eyes, but your smile is huge. “Okay, okay. Tilt your neck for me again.”

He does as asked and your lips brush over the bandages; causing Umemiya’s breath to hitch ever so slightly. When you pull away he’s flushed, but he’s grinning ear to ear.

“Now I’m sure it’ll get better in no time.”

tw: emotional incest/enmeshment, codependency, abusive/neglectful childhood

thinking about how satoru gojo could never be normal about having a twin, even just a fraternal one.

he's the six eyes. his birth is celebrated, it shakes the world.

you were just... born.

except the moment they take you to another room he starts crying and he won't stop. he can't even tolerate being put in a different crib. he has to be next to you at all times.

satoru gojo who is born with separation anxiety. you've always been be his side, even in the womb. he can't be away from you.

how you grow up together, going to the same special classes for jujutsu prodigies. satoru on a lonely journey to master the six eyes while you sit next to him quietly reading romance novels.

you have the family technique, of course. maybe your birth would have even been celebrated, if it weren't overshadowed by a power that comes around every six generations or so.

instead, all anyone can ever talk about - think about - is the legendary six eyes, reborn at last. he is showered with gifts and praises and expectations.

satoru gojo knows what he's worth to his family as soon as they plant ancient texts in front of him to learn from.

he's power. the confirmation of their supremacy over their rivals that they've been waiting for. he was born a winner, and the gojo clan is eager to claim their share of the winnings.

but to you? he's your one and only brother. for you, loving him is as easy as breathing.

you're not dramatic like heis, you don't burst into tears the moment you're separated. no one would care even if you did - it was always about what the young lord needed and wanted.

no. instead you're a silent shadow, washed out by his spotlight, ever-clinging and following wherever he goes, wordlessly.

satoru only has to look in your direction for you to share the toy or book you're carrying, offer his hand for you to hold, sit down so you can play with his hair.

he places a kiss on your cheek, or squeezes your hand, or hugs you when you go to sleep, and it wins him an easy smile, one that feels as precious as gold.

when he's with you, he's happy. warm. what those other people want and do doesn't matter. he only has to amuse himself, and you.

you're always with him, just like he's always with you. even if you're not looking at him, you're in his orbit, a constant presence that calms him as the years go by.

he doesn't follow you into the bathroom or throw a fit when you leave his sight, but only because he knows you'll return soon - you want to return soon.

satoru who sees his parents for the first time when they come to visit you.

he's a legend, and his parents weren't fit to raise someone like him. that was arranged from the moment of his birth, even if they were rewarded for producing him.

his rearing and training was of concern to the whole gojo clan, to be done by the best that money could by, with no room for attachments. they only suffered you so long by his side because he was inconsolable otherwise.

satoru who sees them meet with you, talk to you with eager faces, eyes glancing over him with hesitation and nervousness.

they're not here for money or power. they don't want anything to do with him. they want you.

you, a normal child, their child, who they could finally take home now that satoru was old enough.

satoru gojo who doesn't let them take you away. who doesn't feel bad, not even a little bit, when he sends his (your) parents away with a chilling, six-eyed glare.

the only family you need is him.

(you're the only family he'll ever have).

katsuki who loves nose kisses btw. who's been innocently doing them with you ever since he was small and who still does them now. it's basically a reflex. whenever you're worried for him, or he has to go off somewhere, he presses his forehead to yours. who looks you straight in the eyes with an unspoken promise to be safe. he nods, smushing his nose to yours and nuzzling it softly, almost shyly. and then he's gone again, cheek, ears and nose completely pink.

birthday candles with gojo !

"what," satoru whines, twisting his fingers into the hem of your old sweater. "is it illegal to want m'girl blowing out the birthday candles?"

you squirm in his lap to no avail, hips trapped by his arms and shoulder pinned under his chin. your boyfriend pouts up at you, big blue eyes sparkling.

"they're your candles, 'toru."

"but you're my girl," he counters, sidling up close to press a sticky kiss to your cheek. "look, the wax is melting already."

you reach back, brushing over the short, white hairs curling around his nape. "need me to do everything for you, huh?"

with a short puff, the room goes dark. little boxes of light still blink in through the slats in the blinds of satoru's apartment, but now it's mostly just you cradled in his lap, saccharine candle smoke wafting around your heads.

a quiet exchange of breaths, and—

"ahh," satoru voices next to your ear, finger pointing at his open mouth.

you oblige (as you always do), sinking a fork into cream and chiffon.

turning in his lap, you cup his jaw in one hand and shove the cake into his mouth with the other. and as a gift, you seal it with a kiss, smearing cream on your lips.

"happy?" it's a question that comes with a head tilt and a smile.

"best birthday ever," is what satoru says before diving back in.

— hbd to my glorious blue eyed king.. pls talk/interact if u enjoyed, gojo said so ᡣ𐭩

There's an unspoken rule that gets established early on in your relationship with Bakugo, one that he assumes you know after a few months together.

The rule in question? You need to kiss him three times before you leave his apartment; one for luck, one for the road, and one just because.

One day, you're in a rush to get out the door, running late for a lunch date with your friends. You're bouncing around his apartment to be sure you have everything — phone, keys, wallet — and place a quick kiss to his lips as you pass by him in the living room. "I'll be back in a few hours, love you!"

Bakugo grabs your wrist gently, tugging you back toward him with a pout on his face. "Nuh uh, c'mere." He pulls you over his lap, cradling you while tilting your chin up to face him. "You're askin' for trouble if you think we're done here, sweets."

You blink at him in confusion. He rolls his eyes, no actual annoyance behind it, and shakes his head. "Ya only gave me one kiss, you know better than that."

"Oh, so I owe you—"

"Damn right you do," he cuts you off with a cocky little smirk that he's too good at doing. "Three — no ifs, ands or buts. And mean it, none'a those quick bullshit pecks, real kisses."

Of course, what were you thinking? You lean forward and press the first kiss to his lips, soft and gentle. "One," you whispers before following up with two more, slow and purposeful. "Two and three."

"Much better," Bakugo whispers with a genuine smile. He lets you get back to your feet, a large palm on the small of your back to support you. He pats the back of your thigh once you're steady. "Love you too. Have fun with the girls, but not too much fun. Don't wanna chase ya down the sidewalk again after you down 4 mimosa pitchers to yourselves."

There's An Unspoken Rule That Gets Established Early On In Your Relationship With Bakugo, One That He

three kisses from him would cure my depression at this point, chat.

I personnally have a soft spot for Ace/Hoku, why ? Because i'm used to see him being described as kinda a womanizer but he sounded so innocent when he talked about Hoku but the funniest is how easily we understand they're not on the same pages (and Ace should get his mind together !) But like my point is : Hoku endlessly teasing him for the way he took their "promise"

*In another time, post time-skip, somewhere along the Strawhat's journey*

"Vahahaha!"

"Stop laughing," Ace growled, slamming his cup of grog onto the counter. He whirled around on Hoku, ears almost catching fire as the woman beside him continued to laugh, tears pricking the corners of her eyes. He was torn between smacking her off the stool or watching her laugh, chest swelling in pride at the sight of her smile. "Don't you think you've laughed enough?"

"No!" Hoku hollered, clutching her stomach, gasping for breath. Her cheeks were dark red from the alcohol, skin warm, but never warm enough for Ace. Never too hot.

She was drunk.

Hoku didn't get drunk often. Rarely, it seemed, if she could help it. She'd always complained it made her drawings unreliable and her blood wonky, but Ace just figured Pokians took to being drunk a bit differently from the rest. It was only on this particular night because he'd weaseled her into it to make telling her the truth about his misunderstanding that much easier.

Which, admittedly, might have been a mistake on his part.

"I can't—I can't," Hoku wheezed. She was sitting on a bar stool while Ace stood beside her, leaning his back against the counter as he continued to pout. "Oh, oh... my stomach... I'm going to throw up."

"You could've made it clearer," Ace grumbled darkly. Hoku still laughed, unable to help herself. At least now Hoku would forget this whole night happened and Ace could pretend he'd never misunderstood in the first place.

"I never thought—" Hoku chortled. "Never. Repopulate? With me? Hah!"

Hoku almost spilled her drink. Ace moved aside, dodging the splash and refusing to admit he was pouting at Hoku as he crossed his arms over his bare chest.

"It was a reasonable mistake!"

"No, it's crazy!" Hoku laughed. She held her face in her hands, laughing uncontrollably. "Oh, Ace... you... dumbass! Vahahaha!"

I should just put her to bed. Ace ran a hand through his hair, ignoring the little embers on the tips of his ears. And make sure she forgets about this entire thing.

"Alright," Ace said, making appeasing motions with his hands. Hoku blubbered over the rim of her drink, smiling stupidly at him. She's so gone. "I think you've had enough. I don't want your crew gettin' mad at me for bringing you back piss drunk..."

It was a bit nice though, Ace had to admit, taking Hoku's cup and ignoring her drunk whining and the smell of alcohol in the air. Something sweet. Hoku'd brought some special mix with those berries she was so obsessed with. Hoku always seemed wound up in her own way, and drunk she seemed to forget about anything or everything that was bothering her when she was sober.

Happier.

I want to make you happier.

"Still can't believe it," Hoku giggled. Ace rolled his eyes. "Ya were actually gonna have kids? With me?"

Ace growled, cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "Well how else were you gonna—"

"Hmm," Hoku mused, looking as thoughtful as she could while drunk. "Kids with you, huh?"

Ace froze, blinking at her.

Hoku scratched her head, as if trying to imagine it. She blew through her lips, tipping her head to the side with her eyes closed. Ace suddenly felt a bit of chill run down his spine, not unpleasant. Different. Definitely different. His fingertips felt warm. a coiling in his stomach and a little flicker in his chest. Just the thought of Hoku, his shooting star, thinking about the two of them with kids—

He watched the way Hoku's brows furrowed a bit in thought, how her glazed, doey eyes seemed to have found an image she liked and then she turned that drunk, dopey smile his way, cheeks flushed.

"Think we'd be good parents?"

In a split second Ace's own buzzed, overactive imagination saw it too. Boy or girl? Girl. He'd want a daughter for sure. She'd be adorable and rowdy and he'd do anything for her. He'd let her ride on his shoulders, laughing as Hoku called for them from her spot somewhere else, sketchbook discarded to the side. She'd looked just like her mother, Hoku's hair, her eyes and her sneaky little grin—but she'd have his freckles. Something that undeniably said his, him, and Hoku. Them. The two of them. Undeniable proof of the two of them together—here, and—

"Just crazy," Hoku sighed, shaking her head. Ace jolted, reeling himself immediately back to the present and pretending he'd never seen a single thing. "Vahaha..."

"Yeah," Ace said, running a hand through his hair again, unable to get the little image of an adorable little girl with white hair and freckles running to his arms. "Crazy—"

Hoku moved her hand and Ace followed it, he frowned—

"You were gonna put a baby in this?" Hoku pressed a hand to her stomach. "Vahahaha!"

Ace stared.

"Ah," Hoku sighed, leaning back. "That was a good laugh." She hiccupped.

Hoku's cup slipped from Ace's loose fingers, clanking to the floor. She blinked, turning down to look at it. "Hey, ya dropped—woah!"

Hoku pressed a hand to her mouth, making sure she didn't throw up as Ace suddenly hauled her over his shoulder, moving with purpose to the stairs of the inn. "Hey! Where we—hic—goin?"

"To bed," Ace bit out. Hoku let out a shriek of surprise when his opposite shoulder turned to flames, grabbing at the ends of Ace's smoldering hair. "Putting you to bed. That's enough out of you."

I won't be able to handle hearing anything else. Ace bit his lip, flooding his head with thoughts of Dadan. Dadan showering—yup, that did it.

In the morning the only thing he was going to tell Hoku was that in her drunk stupor she suggested he put a baby in her and then he was going to have the last laugh out of that.

- that little girl would sure have a lot of uncles

(and potential half-siblings)

Typetober Day 2: warm on a cold night

(pls let this tide u over for now, new update coming soon!)

Hoku pressed her two hands together, rubbing her fingertips hard enough for it to feel raw from the pressure.

Her breath came out near solid in a puff of white cloud, trailing into wisps around her face. The frigid cold blanketing the entire ship was enough to send her running for the hills if there were any hills to begin with. She should’ve stuck to her originally intentions and holed up in the girls’ room with all the blankets she could find.

Everyone moved over the deck around her, peals of laughter filling the night, starry air. She tracked Luffy with her eyes, lunging around as Chopper and Usopp chased him with snowballs. Nami and Robin were curved over a freshly snow-brushed table, warm, steaming hot cups of cocoa in their hands as Sanji tended to their every need. Some ways away Zoro was up in the crow’s nest, the faint outline of his swords peeking over the rim.

It’s too cold for a night out. I don’t know why the all wouldn’t want to just stay in. Hoku bitterly eyed her frostbitten fingers. She’d long chugged the hot chocolate Sanji had gifted her and was too stubborn to ask for more. I can’t even draw in this weather. It’s too damn cold.

She should just go inside.

Why don’t you just go inside?

I’m only bad with the cold because I’m from Artopoki. Hoku thought. I just didn’t get the good genes to deal with the snow. I’m part of the majority.

She ran her fingers over each other, stuffing them into her jacket. That’s why I hate the cold.

“Why don’t we go somewhere for Christmas?”

Hoku paused.

“It’s been so long…”

“Just a nice get together…”

“You’ll be all alone again…”

“Just come…”

“Why are you always so busy when you don’t even have a real job–”

“Hokuuuuuuu! What are ya doin’ over here?”

She stared at the top of Luffy’s sandals. It was amazing how this guy couldn’t feel anything, heat or cold. Luffy was just indestructible.

“Thinking,” Hoku said. Luffy made a face, squatting down in front of her with his arms wrapped over his knees. He stared drawing into a patch of snow beside her. “Go back and play. I’ll die if you toss any snowballs at me.”

“Shishishi, you’re too weak!” Luffy sang. He cocked his head. “You’re not drawing?”

“My hands are too cold,” Hoku said darkly. “Run back, I’m going to go down and just–”

“Hands.”

“Huh?”

Luffy pointedly held out his hands, looking at her with that stupidly open, stupidly unreadable face. The big, wide eyes and the expectancy of a guy who never knew how to take no for a god damn answer. Hoku stared at him, bewildered and confused until she grudgingly tugged her hands out of her pockets and set them on top of Luffy’s.

Hoku nearly shuddered at the warmth. Her eyes snapped down to where Luffy’s fingers slipped through hers, linking their hands together. Goddess, he’s so stupidly warm. Maybe he and Ace really are brothers.

“Shishishi,” Luffy grinned at her, peering up from beneath the rim of his hat. Snow caught on the edges. “Better you big baby?”

Hoku hesitated for a second before she tightened her hands around Luffy’s. Her captain didn’t protest, tightening his hands right back as though it were some sort of competition.

Hoku couldn’t bring the words to her lips. The voices in the back of her head faded away.

“Yeah,” she said quietly. “Better.”

More Dad!shouto Content To Cleanse My Soul.
More Dad!shouto Content To Cleanse My Soul.

Truth be told, your 8-month-old son, Shuu, also loved hearing you monologue. He looked at you like you hung the moon and back, adoring you in the form of giggles and tiny screeches.

You sat on the couch with your legs thrown over the armrest, cradling a drowsy Shuu against your chest. He was in his favorite onesie—the one with tiny bears holding umbrellas—and he kept pawing at the necklace you always wore, his fingers clumsy but insistent. His head rested snugly beneath your chin, warm and soft, and every so often, he let out a quiet coo that melted your heart like butter on a stack of pancakes.

Todoroki was in the kitchen, his sleeves rolled up, flipping pancakes like he was born to be domestic. Those cooking classes you encouraged him to take were finally paying off. The sun made his two-toned hair glow, and the sight of him wearing a pastel-pink apron with little strawberries on it—your favorite apron—shouldn’t have made your heart flutter, and yet here you were, contemplating the absurd luck of it all.

“…Mhm,” you hum to yourself, your voice light with disbelief. “I really did that.”

Shuu babbled as if agreeing with you, patting you collarbone with a tiny hand.

“Yes, baby. I mean, look at him,” you continued softly, speaking in that conversational tone one uses when there’s an audience of one infant. “He’s gorgeous. Objectively. Like—did you see those cheekbones? And the whole broody, mysterious hero thing? I bagged that. Me. Charisma? Carried. Humor? Came in clutch. This face? Okay, she helped, but bub, she needed backup.”

You gently kissed the top of Shuu’s fluffy head, then glanced toward the kitchen again, eyes trailing over the quiet, graceful way Todoroki moved. He plated the pancakes with care, added a few slices of fruit on the side, and dusted it with powdered sugar like he was on a cooking show.

Yummy.

The pancakes and your husband the fruits.

You could only blink.

“Your dad used to make girls stammer just by looking at them. Real stoic, jawline-of-the-gods, tragic past and all. And then here I come, tripping over my own shoes, telling jokes about haunted vending machines and crying over animated penguins in documentaries, and somehow—somehow—he looked at me like I was the most fascinating thing in the room.”

You adjusted Shuu slightly, mindful of his tiny head as it lolled sleepily against your shoulder. You pat his back softly, knowing once he burped, he’d be off to dreamland.

“I still remember our first proper date. I had spinach in my teeth the whole time, and he didn’t say a damn thing until the end of the night, and then just—‘You have something green in your teeth, but it was cute so I didn’t mention it.’ Who does that? Who says that?”

Oh, the horror of that memory.

Shuu blinked up at you, eyes slowly drifting closed.

“Your dad. That’s who,” you said with a half-laugh, booping his nose. “And I married him anyway. Because even when he says the weirdest stuff, he means it. He really means it.”

You rested your cheek against your baby’s head again, humming softly.

“You’ve got my eyes, you know,” you whispered. “And his pouty mouth—god help you. That pouty look on your face is going to let you get away with most things. I’m so sorry in advance, and you’re welcome—in a way.”

Todoroki chose that moment to walk over with two plates, setting one down on the coffee table and handing you the other. “Sorry I took a bit longer,” he said, glancing at the baby nestled in your arms. “Did he fall asleep?”

“Almost,” you replied with a warm smile, accepting the plate. “He likes hearing me monologue about how your genetics were blessed and how I saved our child from mediocrity with my superior charisma.”

Todoroki blinked at you.

“Is that what that was about?”

“Don’t act like you didn’t know,” you teased, lifting a forkful of pancake to your mouth. “You were towally into me from day one.”

“I was,” he admitted with zero hesitation, sitting beside you and stealing a bite from your plate—which made you quietly gasp, swatting at his arm softly. “You were very loud.”

“I was confident.”

“You called my scar mysterious and then compared it to a toasted marshmallow.”

...

“In my defense, it is very marshmallowy in vibe. And you know, I ran my mouth like crazy back then.”

Todoroki hummed noncommittally, then leaned in to brush a kiss against your temple. “You were funny,” he murmured. “Still are.”

You raised your brow.

“Were? You think the material’s gone downhill?”

“No,” he said with a faint smile. “I’m just used to it now. Doesn’t catch me off guard anymore.”

You gasped, scandalized, but Shuu made a tiny distressed noise at the sudden jostle, so you immediately shifted back into Mom Mode and soothed him with gentle rocking.

Todoroki watched you with the kind of adoration that made your heart skip a beat, and then, without needing to say anything, he took over—slipping his arms around Shuu and lifting him from your chest with all the care in the world.

“Come on, little guy,” he said softly, resting Shuu against his shoulder. “You’ve been glued to Mom all morning. Let’s give her a break.”

Shuu snuggled right in, immediately settling down. He even yawned, so cute and soft with his rounded cheeks—like a dumpling. You melted.

“Okay, yeah,” you murmured. “You’re still totally out of my league.”

Todoroki looked over his shoulder. “Good thing I chased you until you let me in your league.”

You let out a helpless little laugh, covering your face with your hands. “Ugh, you’re so smooth and pretty. Shuu, I hope you inherited my charm, because if you inherited both your Daddy’s looks and his mysterious aura, the world’s not ready.”

“I think he got the best of both of us,” Todoroki said simply, brushing a hand over Shuu’s soft hair.

And you couldn’t argue with that. Not when their little boy had now fallen asleep peacefully against the chest of a man who never once asked for perfection—only presence, only warmth. Somehow, your bad puns, big heart, and late-night rambles had been enough.

More than enough.

Yeah. You really did that.
