Whoa this is quite accurate🤩🤩🤩🤩 i can’t at John’s photo… 😅 but agree abt his activist side🔥 agree also w Paul being a songwriting legend; he can totally come up w any songs on his own randomly🌸 & quiet George w some rather amazing talent on his own💪 & chillax but steady beatman Ringo💛

THE BEATLES in 1966 》
By 1966, the Beatles had progressed to the point that if they could imagine a sound, they assumed it could be realized. They didn’t regard it as a hindrance that something had never been done before or that experienced technicians foresaw problems. Their imaginations were delightfully unbounded. The Beatles were able to think conceptually. They could imagine a type of song not already in existence and then work their way toward achieving it. Many acts were limited by what they already knew and couldn’t think beyond it. The Beatles, on the other hand, could envisage music that had yet to be made but which, in their view, needed to be made, even though it was at times indistinct and needed the interpretive abilities of George Martin to bring shape to it. As Ringo put it, “We finished touring in ’66 to go into the studio, where we could hear each other and create any fantasy that came out of anyone’s brain.” – Steve Turner, Beatles ‘66 With “Paperback Writer” in 1966 they turn into a rock band. They sort of invent overdriven rock. There’s no other band that’s actually playing like that at that point. – Elvis Costello Revolver comes along and every song is a new idea. This is the most extraordinary response to the life they’ve just lived, and it’s in these songs. When the Beatles moved from the stage into the studio they, in a sense, had the equivalent of the classic notated score. They had all this multi-tracking technology that’s just become available to them. They could put a line on, put a piano part on, and then try something else on top of that. They started to create these structures in music which couldn’t possibly have been created by just sitting and writing with a guitar. For example, I think most musicians, when they heard “Tomorrow Never Knows,” thought that the world actually wouldn’t be the same after that song. Every detail of what they did is of fascination to us because it’s so rich, it’s so layered, there’s so much going on underneath these straightforwardly beautiful melodies. – Howard Goodall, composer

Agree w this girl, I am also actively looking out for more Beatles reads, & had finished some books like the members' autobiographies, songs analysis, fashion etc... i am also intrigued by how the authors got the members and other sources eg. The band's family members, close friends etc to compile for their books... such extensive research... 👍👍
Agree with the results description below😏😏😏i will just be reflecting in the bckgrd…. Still, sigh… it would be kinda fun to hop on the MMT bus, escaping reality for a while though… 😊🌸🌈🚌 @beatlesdumpsterfire -> Results description: You can smell bullshit from a mile away and will stay as far away as you physically can because there's nothing that frustrates you more than having your time wasted. That's where you're different from the others - while a swarm of desperate actors arrived at the film shoot, you were miles away, chilling on top of a hill and checking out the clouds. It's a bummer that somehow, by some unfortunate miracle, you were technically in the background of Paul's "Fool on the Hill" scene. As much as you want to deny it, you got paid for the background acting work which you proceeded to spend on therapy.
I wonder where were they from/ what were they doing?😏😏😏😏john looked relax w just his t-shirt & the other 3 be all relax inc paul & george, hands in pockets & ringo just being relaxed ringo... maybe they were from the beach...😄
It’s like that cool group walk in a heist movie or something. John is the mastermind, Paul is his right hand man, Ringo’s the greaseman and George is the getaway driver.
These are just too cute...............🌸🌈🌸🌈i need them as my babies🤭🤭🤭🤭
Well, I've noticed that a lot of my friends want those Beatles dolls, and if you want them, please comment on which one (or several) you need in this post and I'll start thinking about re-producing them if there are enough of them
Him on the chair crossing his legs, w the glass in hand, bending his head to one side & smiling, just chill...🌸🌈
Ringo Starr turns 80 today—80!—so here is a small gallery of him in the 1970s to celebrate.
For myself, I would rec:
1) Fab Gear: The Beatles And Fashion (Book by Paolo Hewitt)-> My fave so far amongst all the Beatles books that I have read, art & (Beatles) fashion rocks!🎨🕶👍 my rating: 10/10
2) Beatles '66: The Revolutionary Year (Book by Steve Turner)-> Basically, my fave Beatles year, so if you're into their psychedelic transition period too, this book's for you too🌈🌈🌈😊👍 my rating: 9/10
3) In His Own Write (Book by John Lennon himself)-> Well, if you're a Beatles fan, you just need to read what goes on in this Beatle mind, nonsensical stuff indeed✏📖🃏😅 my rating: 7.5/10
4) Being John Lennon (Book by Ray Connolly)-> Awesome, non-draggy autobiography of John, has some shocking & also bittersweet eg. the last few days/ years of John b4 his death parts... ❤🌈🌸my rating: 9/10
5) (Okay, this one's not directly a Beatles book but she is John's wife so lets just inc her in) Yoko Ono: Collector Of Skies (Book by Nell Beram & Carolyn Boriss-Krimsky)-> Just like book #4 as above, this is an autobiography of Yoko told in a simplified way, suitable for teens🎨🌈✏👘 my rating: 8/10
6) Grapefruit (Book by Yoko Ono herself)-> A cool compilation of Yoko's instructions that has a dreamy vibe to it imo, just like the authoress herself, no wonder John became intrigued by her & her art back in '66-'68!✏📖👘 my rating: 9/10
7) John (Solo Series)-> An easy to understand book to satisfy some of your John obsession😆👍my rating: 7.5/10
8) Revolver-> Technical explanation on how the band made the album’s songs from a music studio POV, still can satisfy the Revolver obsession in you (if you have, that is, like yours truly heee😆👍)💿my rating: 8/10
**I can't seem to find John's other self-written book as below via online though...😐
- A Spaniard In The Works
*** I probably will update further in this post because me have read other Beatles-related books although some of them are for children (well, I work in a library that's why😊✌) & maybe also including books that the Beatles found inspo material for their songs... these inc adaptations from their songs (for eg. A Little Help From My Friends, Octopus' Garden + sing-along CD, Imagine etc.), Paul's Grandude series & the Tibetan Book Of The Dead...😋🤙
