I think everyone needs that sometimes
β¦sometimes i just need softness.
to be talked to softly.
touched softly.
completely handled with absolute care.
I: basics
β€οΈ - P-DID
𧑠- We are not diagnosed, but do have plans to be diagnosed in the future
π - Current count of known alters is 66, though we expect many more that lay hidden
π - Honestly haven't got a clue
π - As we cant fully switch and i as host am always here, but there's almost always someone cocon
π - Yes, mostly from various interests from throughout life, and a lot of them
π©· - Yes
II: alters
π₯ - the list is prone to changing often, but we almost always have someone parental in cocon
πΌ - Bird hybrids would be our best guess
ποΈ - We use a mix, but stick mostly to medical, really depends what feels right
π½οΈ - We are all very distinct
πΊ - Not really, id love to, but others wont allow it
ποΈ - Yes, tons actually
π» - There are couple romantic ones, but we mostly have platonic and familial
III: switching
βοΈ - A lot given the no switching thing, but when someone's taken over the body and im just watching, i often barely remember after a couple days
π - No, mostly Grey out and emotional
β‘οΈ - Weve come close a couple times, and it feels mostly like kinda falling and being forced to sleep? very blurry and unclear
βοΈ - N/A
π - N/A
βοΈ - I rarely notice if anyone is near until a friend points it out.
π¦ - N/A
IV: headspace
π± - We do have a pretty big and complex one, it has five circular layers, most live on layer 2 or 3, but at least one on 4. 1, 4, and 5 five are mostly unknown to me, but 2 is a pinewood forest with a little cottage, and 4 has 5 cottages around a little lake that leads to a river with paths around it, and benches scattered about, the eccess space is mostly oak forest.
πΏ - Fairly easily by most
βοΈ - No clue
π³ - alters have rooms in the cottages, i think they're bigger on the inside? and i think some subsystems have whole areas
π΅ - its pretty big and fairly complex, i only know a fraction of how it looks and works
π - I dont know, but dont think so
πͺ΄ - It was just kinda there, all i did was make a little coffee table in the front room for meetings
V: general
π - had a friend help us, the came with entire lists, ended up choosing The cottage collective:)
πͺ - no we just go by hosts name mostly, though the people who know us will call us by our names
π¬ - I dont know, some of the teens have said some wild shit
π« - Dont know, im almost never there to hear any arguments as they happen mostly in headspace, but id guess they just talk it out
π§ - there are a few yes, but i will not be sharing names, thats up to them
π° - our friends, sister, and some of our parents, along with some family friends know
π¦ - its pretty ok, but can shut down partialy or completely in some circumstances
π‘ - yes, but i dont know all of them, some are scene, punk, maybe skater, emo, etc, and then there's surfer guy,
reposted due to us deleting our previous sysblog <3
remember that you are free to decline any question if it feels too invasive, this is for fun and you are not forced to answer anything π€
I: basics

π - do you have a high or low split tolerance?
π - do you switch frequently or do you go longer periods between switching?
π - does your system have introjects of any kind?

π - do you experience black out amnesia?
β‘οΈ - what does switching feel like for you? does it vary between alters?
βοΈ - do you experience quick switches or does it take longer to switch usually?
π - do you get frontstuck often? what do you do to try to get βun-stuckβ?
βοΈ - do you ever not notice youβve switched, and suddenly realise that βyou havenβt been youβ for a while?
π¦ - can you switch βon commandβ or is that something that is hard for your system? does it depend on the alter?
IV: headspace
π± - do you have a headspace? if yes, describe it! if no, do you want one?
πΏ - how easily accessed is your headspace?
βοΈ - is there a place in your headspace where dormant alters go?

π¦ - how good is your communication with the rest of the system? does it vary much between different alters?
π‘ - are different alters part of different subcultures? which ones? (we are!)
Thats exactly how we feel too, so good to see were not alone
A comic about how our system (especially our host) feels about our experiences as a P-DID system, and our place in the system community as a P-DID system.
text written out under cut
"I wish we weren't a P-DID system."
"I've been the lone host of this system for 11+ years. The dominant part of it."
"It's been a lot to deal with."
"I wish I wasn't the host of our system."
"I wish I could switch out with someone willingly,"
"Because sometimes it's all too much."
"I know it would probably be just as - if not more- distressing."
"But sometimes I find myself envious of system that can switch and share responsibilities."
"I want to switch, but I'm also scared of the idea of letting go of front. Maybe that comes with being a P-DID system."
"I'm scared of what might happen if someone else fronted, alone."
"I feel guilty for thinking that, because I know of a handful of instances,"
"and all of them were FINE. Nobody even suspected it was Titan or Harby, not me."
"Of course, they only front very rarely. I can count all instances I know on two hands. And only when I physically can't front. Due to sleeping\being unconscioud or something similar."
"I feel bad that the others don't get time to do the things they want to."
"I feel like none of this might be real, because I rarely see people talk abt [about] P-DID experiences."
"I feel like an outsider in the system community."
"I wish there was a bigger P-DID community to share experiences with."
[text in boxes say: "*something about switches* #pdid" "*talk abt switching* #pdid" "*switching meme* #pdid" "*switching* #pdid" "*switches* pdid"] "I feel sad everytime I see post[s] about switching in the PDID tags. They remind me that's not me."
"You can't do that."
"I'm -- we're -- tired of constantly hearing P-DID is just the OSDD-1 of the ICD. We don't think they're the same at all."
"When we hear people with OSDD-1 share their experiences, we can't really relate. Neither subtype reflects our experience as a P-DID system."
"I feel broken and wrong."
"I feel like we don't belong in the system community."
"We don't share a lot of the common system experiences, because we have P-DID."
"But we don't feel like we belong to the singlets, either."
"We feel alone with our struggles."

Jaggedhead gurnard (Gargariscus, Armored searobins or armored gurnards)β£β£
Photographer and Fisherman: Roman Fedortsov
Some weird ass ai "art" account followed me today, so ill make clear now that i(and the system as a collective) is fundamentally against the use of ai.
