Got inspired by Rey’s force-pilgrimage in Chapter 62 of the epic Landscape with a Blur of Conquerors by @kylorenvevo
Do you have Instagram? Also have you drawn anything from GoT or LOTR?
no instagram, sorry. i’ve never had even a personal one & i feel like it’s not worth getting an art one until my style is more consistent and/or i have a couple thousand followers here... this blog is still quite wee. never seen GoT but i was big into LOTR/the Silmarillion before uni... maybe I’ll do something from there this month!!
tagged by the eternally lovely @schweetheart to post 10 pictures from my camera roll that represent me. I nearly gave up since most of it is people and places, but after a bit of scrolling, I present:
attempts at gouache
a little paintbrush case I sewed
Forgotten Gift by my mum/Bog Girl by me
charcoal life drawings/Greta the Strong by Daniel Sobol
a deceptively undercooked pie/witcher sketches
tagging @alice-the-brave , @jascel , @softlytea , @saowa , @ultrathrust , @crowsandcabbages , @godferdom- try this if it’s your sort of thing! and anyone else who’d like to join is welcome <3

Hi, I wanted to thank you for the incredible art of saints you made! I really like that some modern artists still get inspired by religion:))) Wanted to ask you where you get all the info about saints? Books or just internet like the rest of us?
This is so kind of you!!
I was very interested in the lives of the saints as a child & I read many books at that time. Francesco d’Assisi, Jeanne d’Arc, and Martín de Porres were particular favourites.
Nowadays I mostly use online resources. There are very good ones for information and images both (if you google <saint name> icon you’ll probably be able to see which ones inspired this set).
