you have no idea how much comfort i get from shifting community on tumblr, it’s literally like we are one huge family, we are supporting each other, giving tips, etc. i love you all soooo much i wouldn’t be here without you 🫶🫶🫶
we will shift! i know that!
So I have decided to permashift to my Mha (My Hero Academia) desired reality. But there's two people whom I'm attracted to, like physically, personality wise, just everything about those two people. If I didn't see an edit of one of them, I wouldn't be here shifting to it or even know of it. So I was wondering if I could get some advice on whether to scrip a love triangle (even though I hate them) so I can shift there and see which one of them I connect with better, who I work better with as a person and who I genuinely like more? Or if I should just flip a coin and see which one it lands on to scrip as my partner?
Affirmations I've been using recently:
"I have decided that I'm already in my (desired reality name) desired reality."
"I have decided to shift to my (desired reality nams) desired reality."
"I have become aware of my (desired reality name) desired reality."
"I am (desired reality name)."
☀️Deities☀️
I see so many people criticizing others over their relationships, or lack thereof, with their deities, so here are some reminders:
Not having deities is okay.
Having just a devotional relationship with your deities is okay.
Having a working relationship with your deities is okay.
Playing games with your deities is okay.
Harmless jokes with your deities are okay.
Doing fun things with your deities is okay.
Doing devotional offerings for your deities is okay.
Giving physical offerings to your deities is okay.
Not being able to do certain offerings for deities is okay.
Having an altar for your deities is okay, no matter the size.
Not having an altar for your deities is okay.
Laughing with your deities is okay.
Crying with your deities is okay.
Having genuine conversations with your deities is okay.
Being unable to hear/see deities is okay.
Being able to hear/see deities is okay.
Not being able to communicate through divination is okay.
Using divination as a key element in communication is okay.
Not calling on deities during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities to help during spellwork is okay.
Asking deities for help in general is okay.
This is your relationship with your deities in your practice. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. 🫶
It's 2am, please forgive me if there are any mistakes!
So, I've had the most roller-coaster of a ride with religion. At this point, I just don't care. They're all real. They're all there in the world, and when you die, you go to where you believe. Because I've had enough about religion because there's too many in the world and it's confusing.
But that's not the point. So I decided to put up my Hades, Aphrodite, Loki, Apollo, and Hermes alters up.
Before I decided to do that, I brought some 18+ dice for some fun, and just why not, and that was before I decided to put the alters back up.
Explain to me... why I felt drawn to giving Loki those dice, with the explanation of how to use those dice on his alter with three fidget toys near it and a (porcelain?) goose with its head smashed??? He/They/She/It (whatever Loki identities as) is really showing their chaos already!
a reminder that deities you work with don't hate you for not being able to do things, especially not if you're physically or mentally able to!
the gods understand that we're not perfect, that we're just fleshy meat sacks and that some of us aren't able to do things as much, and you shouldn't compare your craft to anyone else's! it's yours after all.
and if you're worried that your offerings aren't good enough, think about it like this. if a little crow came up to you and gave you a stick, you wouldn't think "what a dumb crow, why'd you give me a stick?", would you? no! you'd know that the little crow is doing his best and wanted to give you a gift. to the deities, you're that little crow, and they know you're doing your best <3
So I understand why we have alters/shrines for deities, and I have two separate ones for Hekate and Loki.
But how about also having an alter/shrine to ourselves? Worship ourselves like we would the gods? We are spiritual beings, and I think we deserve our own worship as spiritual beings but also as self care and self-love to ourselves. (Especially if we struggle with that!)
I heard about someone saying to image your a demon in a humans body that you have to look after but what if we made a shrine/alter for ourselves and treat ourselves with that respect and devotion we show to a deity?
I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how it goes.
The way some people cannot understand that when I, an aroace-spec person, call someone "hot" it doesn't mean I'd like to share bed with them, but that I think they are a pleasing sight for my eyes. Yeah, they have good features. Yeah, they are pretty/handsome. That's it. Nothing more, it's just nice to look at them. Just like looking at some flower or aesthetically pleasing food. You don't need to like the scent of that flower or taste of that food, but it looks nice.
"It felt so good to feel the fresh wind on her face, the soft soil under her feet. She spread her arms and spinned and laughed."
"She was playing in a roaring river. She had chosen to stay, she believed it was the right choice. But it didn't make this any easier."
sometimes I see old shiftoks like " 10 reasons you aren't shifting " nd one of them is " stop being so obsessed with your dr! Seriously you're acting like a little kid! " WRONG! Be excited! It's your reality, & that won't stop you from shifting 🫶
