Doc: I’m gonna do what’s called a pro-gamer move
immediately had to drop everything to draw this in a fugue of utter delight. I'm SO glad that 1) at least one character does, in fact, sleep in full-on Scrooge cosplay, complete with the little pompom on his hat, and 2) of course it's Rook. of course it is.
genuinely, i think watching live theatre can improve your media literacy so much
like people who look at doctor who and are like 'lol the effects are so rubbish'
maybe watch a stage play where there's no backdrops and half the characters are played by the same three guys in different hats and maybe you will calm down
i love this type of post
Bdubs: You played me like a fiddle
Doc: Oh no, fiddles are actually difficult to play
Doc: I played you like the cheap kazoo you are
Young Wolf internally laughing at all of Eramis’ complaints until she mentions the therapist and YW is all *hiss bite growl die* about it because the vanguard keeps trying to get YW professional help. So now Eramis thinks her opinions are doubly in the right because the YW themselves are agreeing with her.
Vultures are holy creatures.
Tending the dead.
Bowing low.
Bared head.
Whispers to cold flesh,
“Your old name is not your king.
I rename you ‘Everything.’”
Destiny 2: Heresy Dreadnaught by Jacob Gonzalez
I’m sure someones already said this but I often see Tumblr described as a hellsite. This is fundamentally incorrect.
Tumblr is the faesite. Everybody is super confused and lost, you keep running into random places. Somehow you end up stuck there forever after interacting a couple of times. The people are all strange, everybody simultaneously seems to be from the future and the past as if time is meaningless.
I keep remembering a run of Hamlet I saw a few years ago, where the Ghost was costumed in full plate armour which was very noisy, and instead of muffling it, they had him crash across the stage, stomping so the whole set rattled, and he said all of his lines in a bellow, like he was furious with Hamlet.
And the thing that made it absolutely terrifying was that Hamlet was the only one who reacted. He was cowering, and covering his ears with both hands, and yelling to be heard over the noise.
And no one else seemed to know why he was doing that. The other actors didn't even raise their voices.
That's scary, something so loud and painful, and REAL, and the people around you don't even notice it, and think that you're the crazy one.
I love this cutscene because it not only gives the Young Wolf some character (they're very clever to have deduced the pattern) but also showed us that they're a talented artist
