I wish there was an app that worked kinda like spotify except with books,, like you could create a playlist of books with a specific theme/ aesthetic and it would give you suggestions for other books you might like
I have been saving this since last year. Happy Earth Day everyone.
I don't think I've ever seen a show being more found family coded than Person of Interest
Strip the show to its bare bones and it's essentially about a isolated, traumatised guy who lost everybody, chasing death. He gets saved by the power of friendship, found family and adopts a dog. And I for one think that's beautiful
Peter seemed to only have Cisco as a close friend (and Zoe before she left). Working the night shift probably left him with very limited time to actually hang out with friends anyway. And when he was at work, he was completely alone in that windowless room.
After Zoe left, there must have been so many days and stretches of time where the only interactions Peter would have with others would be barked orders from Hawkins or snide comments from the other FBI agents or being trolled by the Rome Tome dudes.
Rose is the one who nearly cries and admits she feels so alone, but Peter must have been feeling the exact same way for months as well.
I didnt make this but whoever did is a GENIUS

#i love my Star Wars found families #one of my favorite tropes
Star wars is about hot people and found families, everything else is just set dressing
I'm a simple girl; I see disaster characters who are simultaneously dorks and I bring out the adoption papers
