So is there any way to get an account banned??? Because if there is we should do that to that account that bases their entire page on stealing and whitewashing all Annabeth fanart. I've been meaning to read the Illiad and the Odyssey for ages but keep putting it off cause I've heard they're hard reads/written kinda complicated. I was just wondering if the version you have is an easier read? What's the writing style like?

I would say it is a slightly easier read than some of the ones I’ve read in the past! Emily Wilson’s are structured into a more poem/verse type story, and since they are newer translations I would say they have the advantage of more so modern language?

These are pictures of the first page of two of my versions of the Odyssey! The first is the Emily Wilson Translation (2018) and the second is Samuel Butler (1900)

And this one is one from the first page of Emily Wilson’s Iliad (2023) (I don’t have another to compare it to sadly)

Overall I greatly enjoy her translations! I’m not done reading her Iliad yet, but so far it is turning out to be really good!!!
