HOLY SHIT you guys need to chill. sure, the new episode had plenty of second hand embarrassment and bad shit happen to marinette, BUT SHE'S A F I C T I O N A L CHARACTER. SHE'S NOT REAL. and so i've been seeing some fucking bullshit where y'all have been hating on astruc. unless he did some horrendous shit i don't know about, THIS IS FUCKING UNCALLED FOR. here's an examples:
this was on a gif of ladybug stepping on his face. why the fuck are people so fucking angry they're being assholes to the show's creator? i honestly hope they cancel the fucking show so y'all shut the fuck up. sure, marinette didn't deserve that, but neither does astruc. you guys are fucking toxic. i hate fans like y'all. it's just a show and a fictional character. can't believe you're putting a character before a real person. sure it's not the worst shit i've seen, but there has been some shitty stuff said towards astruc, and i don't think he deserves it. if he did something i didn't know that was terrible that makes this called for, tell me. but i don't think there was anything he did. honestly disappointed.
Marinette crossed her arms, anger stirring in her mind. Alya was angry as well, waiting for Marinette to say something. When she stayed silent, she decided to take the conversation into her hands.
“Marinette, what is your problem? You're so rude to Lila! Calling her a liar with no proof!” Alya growled, throwing her hands around to express her frustration. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she formed a glare upon her face. Marinette was holding back the flames inside her. She couldn't actually prove Lila was a liar without revealing her identity. But the lies that girl spat out were all ridiculous. She couldn't understand how anyone believed them. She had Adrien by her side, which did make her feel a bit more relieved. But they weren't doing anything to stop Lila. Just watching her downfall. Yet there had been no downfall for Lila. She was thriving. It seemed that her plans to take her friends away were succeeding. She bit her lip in her attempts to hold back the stream of tears from bursting. She dug her nails into her arms as she tried to calm down. One glance at Alya set her off.
“You don't understand, Alya! She's obviously a liar! She uses lies to get attention and get what she wants! She wants Adrien! She wants people to serve her!” she practically screamed as the tears escaped. Her words weren't sadly not as persuasive as Lila's, and Alya clenched her fist. She still didn't believe her.
“It's all because of Adrien! That's what this is all about!” she scoffed, disgusted. Marinette was hurt, placing a hand over her chest. She somehow thought it was all about jealousy? “Girl, get a grip! You don't own Adrien!”
“You still think this is about jealousy? I guess you forgot about Kagami,” she snarled, and Alya looked down to the floor in shame. She had remembered, of course. She chuckled at that. Her best friend didn't know her as well as she thought. “I obviously know I don't own Adrien. I don't hate Lila because of Adrien, I hate her because of all the lies!”
“You still have no proof! Show me the evidence that she's lying!” She placed her hands on her hips, waiting for her answer. She was put into a sticky situation. She had plenty of proof! She just couldn't reveal it. She hated her secret identity sometimes. In times like this where it would benefit her greatly. She guaranteed Alya would believe her if she confronted her as Ladybug, she thought bitterly. She loved Ladybug. Imagine her reaction when she found out she had been Ladybug this whole time?
“Where's your proof, hmm? You're a reporter, shouldn't you fact check everything you post? But no, you just eat up her lies and spread it everywhere,” Marinette shook her head, disappointed. Alya didn't have anything to say, knowing she was right. “I'm leaving. You clearly don't know me enough. Bye,” she waved her goodbye, and walked out of the empty classroom. She was glad Alya hadn't followed her. She didn't even realize she was still crying. She wiped her eyes, sniffing. Tikki opened the purse slightly, to glimpse at her chosen. She sighed, feeling her owner's pain.
Marinette walked down the steps, and headed toward her house, which was just across the street. When she entered the bakery, she hid her face, hoping to cover her red eyes. She didn't say anything either, just wanting to get into her room. Alya was her best friend, and it hurt to fight with her like that. But she kept ignoring her, telling her she had no proof. She couldn't stay silent when there was injustice in her class. Alya had fallen for her, just like basically everyone else.
The next morning, she woke up late, like always. Her eyes felt swollen and when she looked in the mirror, she groaned when she saw what a mess she was. She tried her best to clean herself up, brushing her hair into pigtails, though some stray pieces sprung up. She had dark circles, and she sadly didn't have any makeup to cover it up. You'd think someone who was so into fashion would have at least some eyeshadow, but nope. She just shrugged, and did the best she could with what she had. She looked terrible, but not as much as before.
She grabbed her purse and backpack, and headed down stairs. She passed the counter, to grab a cookie for Tikki. She simply waved to her parents’ as she left for school. Tom and Sabine exchange a look, worrying for their daughter. They'd ask her what was wrong after school.
She really didn't want to go to school, but she was obliged to. She tried looking to the bright side, thinking ‘you didn't get akumatized!’ or ‘there's no akuma battle!’ but honestly she wished for an akuma to avoid school. She dreaded sitting next to Alya. She gulped as she turned the doorknob to her classroom, to see Nino in her seat once again. Yet again, they changed the seats without her. She tensed up as she passed Lila, who was sitting with Adrien again. She was so touchy, leaning against him. She saw his discomfort. She pitied him, and she was reaching a breaking point. She hated the eyes that studied her grouchy form. They held an anger, an anger that was bigger than yesterday. Of course Alya told everyone what happened. She seemed seemed comfort in Adrien, but he was busy with Lila. She knew Adrien didn't need to make her feel better, but she felt so alone. She shamefully took her seat in the back. Her lip quivered slightly, the tears threatening to spill. She took a deep breath, relaxing herself. Everything would be fine. Right?
She was listening to Ms. Bustier as she taught, when she felt a paper hit her head. Dazed, she lost what the teacher was saying. There was a crumpled paper laying on the desk, and she opened it up carefully. It read:
“Bully! Don't treat Lila like that again!”
She slammed her fist against the desk impulsively. She was seething, flames dancing in her blue eyes. “Who threw this at me?” She helped up the paper.
“Marinette, don't disrupt the lesson please!” Ms. Bustier warned, but she just ignored her. She couldn't care less about the trouble she could get in. She caught sight of Lila's smirk, and shivers soared through her spine. She was taking pleasure at her pain!
“It was me. You just needed a reminder,” Kim said smugly. “You better not treat her like that again!” he threatened, and Marinette laughed dryly. She tossed the paper back at him, and he blocked it with his hand. She looked to Adrien again, to see his begging eyes to not expose Lila. That just fueled her rage. He didn't understand what was happening! Lila was ruining her relationships, her reputation! Why did she have to care for her?
“Lila is a liar! You are all just too dumb to see through her blatant cries for attention!” she yelled out, unable to keep the words from spilling out of her mouth. The class gasped, then glared at her. She didn't react. She didn't care what they thought. Except for Adrien. She told herself she didn't care what he thought, but she really did. And the disappointment on his face was burned into her mind. She felt out of breath, anxiety clawing at her stomach. “Y..you guys can't see it..?” she asked desperately, looking around the room. She suddenly felt so small. They were all judging her. They towered over her, the glares piercing her. Lila's smile shattered her mind. Salt water poured down her cheeks, but they felt no sympathy. She felt the room start to spin, all of her classmates faces surrounding her. She had to get out of this classroom! Get away from their faces!
She ran to the door, then tripped on her own foot. She could barely lift herself back up, as the sobs racked her body. Adrien was the only one to come to her aid. But she refused him. He was just going to shun her like everyone else. She shoved him away, and ran out the door.
“Marinette!” he cried out, but she was already too far away. He figured she needed some time to relax, so he gave up chasing after her. He just hoped she would be okay. His stomach twisted when her crying face flashed into his head. He couldn't help but feel guilty. But she tried to expose Lila. They had agreed not to do so, but she did anyway. She would be ok, surely. She was a strong girl. She would come back to her senses. He took his seat next to Lila, to see her fake crying.
“O..oh, Marinette is so mean!” she wiped a fake tear away from her eye, soaking up all the pity from them. He didn't agree with it, but he put up with it. She would bring herself down eventually. “I can't believe she would say those terrible, terrible things! You guys don't believe her, right?”
The whole class shook their heads violently, except Adrien. He just awkwardly shook his head. He didn't want to look bad either.
“Oh, I'm so glad I have you guys! Marinette reminds me of my old bullies, at my old school. They always tried to come after me, because they were jealous,” Adrien realized she was trying to turn them all against Marinette. This wasn't good. She was lying about the ‘old bullies’. Adrien understood that Lila's lies were not harmless. His friend was suffering. He cursed under his breath because he hadn't seen it sooner.
“I'm going to check on Marinette,” he blurted and he ran out of the classroom. He heard the grumbles of Lila, and whispers from the class as he left, but he needed to make sure she was okay.
She sat on the toilet, sobbing into her hands. Tikki was trying her best to soothe Marinette, petting her head. All her attempts were useless. She was incredibly upset, more than ever before. They hated her. They hated her and replaced her with the new girl.
“Marinette, you need to calm down! You might attract an akuma!” she reminded her of the dangers, and she seemed to relax a tad. But it was too late to warn her about akumas, for one was flapping into the stall. She brushed all her emotions aside, facing the akuma head on.
“Marinette, are you in here?” Adrien's voice beckoned her, and she reluctantly left the stall. He saw the akuma fluttering away, and his eyes widened with fear. “Watch out!”
“Adrien, it's fine! I fought it off,” she placed her hands on his shoulders, trying to get some sense into him. He was speechless, his green eyes darting back and forth between her and the akuma.
“You.. fought… off.. the akuma?!” he repeated her words, utter disbelief filling his words. She nodded, then walked past him. She needed to purify the akuma, before it akumatized someone else.
“Sorry Adrien. I have to do something real quick,” she rushed out of the bathroom, leaving a confused and amazed boy alone. She reached a good distance away from him, and transformed. She spotted the akuma trying to get away, but she caught it with her yo-yo. The anxiety she didn't even know was there lifted as the white butterfly flew out. She breathed a sigh of relief, and she released her transformation. Now it was time to get back in class. Yay. She felt better now though. Tikki’s good vibes spread through her body when she transformed. She pet her head as she headed to class.
“Marinette! How did you fight off that akuma? What did you have to do?” Adrien ran up to her, wanting answers. She was pleasantly surprised when she didn't feel any nervousness or her mind turning to mush. She was just.. normal.
“I just did. And what I had to do was inform a certain bug to come take care of the akuma,” She winked at him, and kept walking to class. It wasn't far from the truth. She really didn't know how she rejected the akuma, and she did inform herself to purify the akuma. She just left some details out. Adrien still couldn't wrap his around it, but just relaxed and followed her back to class.
They entered the class, the door slamming against the wall. Marinette was still mad at them. A silence filled the once chatting classroom. They all watched her as she headed back to her seat, her posture full of confidence. They didn't deserve her kindness. She quaintly sat down in her seat, acting oblivious to the class. Adrien just slipped into his seat, feeling very, very awkward. He knew that he wouldn't let the class gang up on Marinette again though.
A fake sob was let out, and all eyes returned to Lila. Guess she couldn't handle not being the center of attention for a few seconds. “Marinette, why would you say such terrible things?”
“Yeah!”
“What's wrong with you?”
“We want answers, Marinette!”
The class boomed. Marinette remained unfazed, but inside she was fighting off her feelings of anger. She had to keep calm. She breathed deeply before responding.
“I just said the truth,” she said nonchalantly, leaning back into her seat. “Which is something Lila doesn't seem to do,” she added, Adrien holding his tongue. He saw Lila fuming angrily until she saw him looking. She faked sadness again, and he just rolled his eyes.
“What do you mean? Lila's not a liar!” Nino confronted Marinette, standing up from his seat. Marinette was wondering what Ms. Bustier was doing, but she didn't seem to be here. Oh well. All the better for her. “Yeah, Marinette. She's not a liar,” Alya defended Lila, and helping her boyfriend. She placed a hand on his shoulder, supporting him. She tried not to get angry, seeing her best friend putting her boyfriend before her. She didn't own Alya. She could have her own opinions. She repeated the words in her head.
“I'm sorry guys, but Marinette is right,” Adrien finally spoke up. Nino and Alya gasped, now confused. Marinette couldn't help the smirk that formed on her face. Adrien was at last helping her. The oblivious boy was learning! She loved the face Lila made, as if she had been betrayed. She was a good actor, but not good enough to fool her.
She had set her phone to ring automatically, so she could step out and transform. Lila needed some discipline. Ladybug had the proof she needed to show that she was right. She knew Adrien could back Ladybug up too. He had been there with Volpina. She opened her purse to let Tikki fly out.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Tikki asked, worry filling his squeaky voice. She felt happy that her kwami was worrying, but she knew what she was doing. Lila had made her suffer too much. It was time for payback. The expression in her face reassured Tikki, and she dipped her head down in acceptance. The pink light flashed as Ladybug appeared.
Ladybug kicked open the door, entering the room with a bang. Literally. She studied the room, the air so tense you could chop it a knife. She sauntered to Lila, who was smiling fakely, her eyes showing her true emotions. “So, Lila. Is what Marinette telling me true?” she questioned, acting innocent. Alya was bewildered, wondering how Mari got Ladybug here. Nino was still upset over Adrien not speaking up earlier. They were bros! Chloe didn't really believe Lila, but didn't care about Marinette. Now this was interesting though. Adrien was shocked beyond belief. He was frozen. And also nervous. His lady was right there.
“No! Marinette is lying. She's jealous!” she said, a little too aggressively. Her façade was crumbling down quickly. She still tried to fake to Ladybug, unaware she was Marinette. Ladybug wasn't having it. She had a bored look on her face, and yawned for extra effect. She then slammed her foot on the desk, scaring Adrien out of his daze. Lila was scooting back, sweating profusely. It was amusing to see the girl so confident about her lies earlier, now cowering below her. It felt very satisfying. But she was never satisfied. At least not until she debunked each and every one of her lies.
“Sure, Volpina. Oops, I meant Lila,” she giggled, enjoying every second of this. “Alya, wasn't Volpina here on Heroes day?”
“Y..yes,”
“But I thought you were with Prince Ali's family? How can this be?” She leaned in closer to Lila. She was finally seeing the downfall of Lila. The moment she had been awaited. And it was even better then she'd imagine, because now she was the cause. She was the cause of her downfall.
But was this really the right way? She was being sadistic, taking joy in her pain. She was acting just like Lila. She had already done enough to prove she was a liar to everyone. She'd rather not stop down to Lila's level. “Lila, I would appreciate you telling the truth please. I wish you good luck!” She ran out the classroom, and swung away, to derail the class. She ran back as fast as she could.
She was out of breath when she appeared back in class, but the class was too absorbed in confronting Lila that they took no notice. They were really going at her. What did she expect? Her lies couldn't hold up forever.
“You lied to us?”
“Why did you do that?”
“Not cool!”
Marinette wanted to rub some salt in the wound. Not to Lila, but her classmates. “Guys, aren't you being too harsh? You're hurting her feelings,” she mimicked them, reminiscing on their own words. They lowered their heads in shame as they seemed to remember their idiotic actions.
She was now satisfied. Even if she had to deal with another akumatized Lila, she was done with her. She dug her own grave. Now it her time to sleep in it. She felt the slightest bit of pity, but she was constantly reminded of the threats she said to Marinette in the bathroom. She wanted to ruin her. It was simply was she deserved.
yeah guys stop bullying poor joffers he's still badass ok???
Where did the whole sock drawer thing come from? Cuz,, legit Jauffre locked the amulet in a secret room accessible only by a false cabinet in his (the Blades grandmaster’s) own office. It’s obviously not perfect, but it’s not like he just hung it up on the coatrack by the priory door
Don’t get me wrong, I like dunking on grandpa jeffrey as much as the next person, but we can at least give him a bit of credit imo
I wish more people knew how affected our emotions and emotional responses are by ADHD. Everyone will experience their ADHD differently, so feel free to cross out what applies to you! I’ve only recently started externalizing emotions again and..it’s crazy how much energy I put into holding it all back - without great success. Here’s my patreon! (is this a smooth topic change?)
I LOVE THIS IDEA SM
If we have Martin and HoK being Miraculous holders... Does that mean that the Guardian is... Jauffre? Who loses the Divine Miraculous because he hid it in a sock drawer?
I like it. Heʻs the one who knew Martinʻs real identity, so it makes plenty of sense.
Iʻm still trying to envision the Dragon and Bunny miraculouses combined too. That is one weird mythological creature and it sounds cool as heck.
So I wrote this really late at night so it's not the best but I was really nervous last night for no reason so I needed something to relax so here you guys go! Enjoy! It's Male!Jesse x Lukas btw.
Lukas let out a yawn, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He had stayed up all night working on his book. He looked outside to see the sun coming up already, and he sighed, knowing he had things to do. He closed the book and just laid in bed, just trying to relax for a bit. Then he heard a soft knock at his door. He pulled himself out of bed reluctantly. Nobody usually visited him. He opened the door to be surprised with Jesse.
“Jesse! What are you doing here so early in the morning?” he greeted and invited him inside.
“Oh, I just wanted to come down and see you. I guess I didn't really think about the time,” Jesse said, his tone a bit jittery as if he was hiding something. “I was lucky you were awake,”
“Well, I'm really glad to see you. I know we don't have much time now a days to hang out, so these little moments are always great,” Lukas smiled, giving him a small hug. He sat down on the ground, Jesse following suit and taking a place next to him.
“How's your book going?” Jesse asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
“Glad you asked. It's actually going really good so far, just needing a few revisions, and I'm hoping to add at least six more chapters,” he looked proud of his work, his blue eyes beaming.
“I can't wait until it's finished. It'll be a great read, Lukas,” he praised, Lukas becoming a bit flustered and uttered a ‘thanks.’ Jesse opened his mouth to say more, but closed it shut right after. He looked nervous, continuously fidgeting and scratching his head.
“Jesse, you look kind of off. You know you can tell me anything, right?” he reassured, patting his back. Jesse gave him a weak smile of gratitude.
“Well, I just really missed you. I just don't know what to say anymore. It's weird,” he admitted, his face growing pink. “I mean, not that I'm uncomfortable around you, hehe,” he added on quickly. Lukas raised an eyebrow at him, knowing that's not the whole truth. Jesse's eyes darted around the quaint little house anxiously, as he began to sweat.
“Uh.. Well. I guess I kind of like you?” he looked like he was about to die. Lukas froze for a second, then ‘very intelligently’ answered.
“Well, I like you too! You're my best friend!” Which received a facepalm from Jesse. Confused, Lukas tilted his head.
“Gosh, why do you have to be so cute?” Jesse whispered to himself, not so quietly. He immediately froze, smiling fakely in embarrassment. Lukas then understood what he meant earlier, turning a dark red.
“Haha.. you really think that way, huh?” Lukas teased, trying to play it off but failing miserably. “I guess me too?”
Jesse nearly fell over while sitting down. Incredible.
“You do?” he was very excited, but still had a bright pink dusting his cheeks.
“...Yeah.. yeah I do. Oh my gosh, I do!” Lukas didn't even realize he felt this way. He was freaking out in his sudden awareness of his feelings.
“Great!” Jesse threw his arms around Lukas, laughing at his reaction. Lukas managed to chill out a bit, hugging him back. Impulsively, he brought his face closer to Jesse's, their faces just inches apart.
They were very red, and very, very awkward.
“Umm, sorry..?” Lukas said.
Jesse just laughed slightly, then closed the gap between them, their lips colliding. Lukas' eyes widened, then closed slowly as he deepened the kiss.
After what felt like eternity, they seperated.
“Should I put this in the book or-”
“No please don't.”
you ever just have regrets
Someone finally says it!!!
Y’all act like you didn’t make mistakes when you were 13-16 year olds
Can everyone just realize that while the writing may be faulty that they’re actually kind of realistic. Not everyone is mature enough to recognize the best decisions when you’re that young and we often make selfish decisions when other people enable us
Does that completely excuse bad behavior or justify hurting others? No.
But at least we have an understanding of why people do the things that they do, which extends to our main characters.
I find it refreshing that Marinette isn’t perfect and as we keep progressing we see that neither are Kagami or Adrien. Marinette has a huge jealousy streak and it’s a major flaw that’s brought up so I can see how that’s tiring but speaking as a girl who was also the jealous type around Marinette’s age, it’s actually nice to see how a real teenager is depicted. Yes, acting on jealousy is incredibly selfish and we hurt other people unknowingly, but we shouldn’t completely label things as “good” or completely label things as “bad.” Marinette is a good character with a few bad characteristics and she tends to do a few bad things, but it’s better than having her be this squeaky clean character who is completely devoid of flaws and setbacks. It makes her more relatable and it makes it more empowering when she’s rewarded for the good things that she’s done.
I can see why everyone is kind of tired of seeing Marinette acting jealous/petty or why everyone is frustrated that Chloe isn’t getting a redemption arc, but you also have to realize that people don’t just change over night and that they actually have to actually dedicate time to recognize their mistakes and grow from them. People tend to relapse or fall back into bad behavior, not every redemption arc or growth arc is straight.
Wouldn’t be weirder if Marinette completely accepted Kagami as Adrien’s love interest when she’s shown to be in love with him and has previously acted on impulsive jealousy? Wouldn’t it be a little weird if Chloe was super nice to everyone and did the right thing all the time when she’s always been a spoiled brat? Wouldn’t it be weird if our protagonists didn’t act like the characters they’ve always been established as?
So please stop complaining about our characters not acting perfect, when you should just take it as it is and stop getting upset when they don’t reach your projected expectations

please enjoy this little fanfic i wrote!
Another day, another feeling of heartache for Marinette. Almost everyday now she would see Adrien and Kagami together, always looking so close. Marinette was starting to think maybe she should get over Adrien. Give someone else a chance. She hated the way she felt everyday, always feeling miserable and jealous and holding back feelings of anger. She didn't hate either of them. It just hurt to see Adrien with another girl. Especially after all the time she'd put into him.
Marinette walked into school, her back slouched over and dark bags under her eyes from crying all night. Alya quickly rushed over to Marinette.
"Hey, girl, what's up? You don't look so good," Alya threw her arm around Marinette, trying to comfort the poor girl.
Marinette had to hold back tears. She felt kind of silly, feeling so upset over a boy.
"Well.. it's about Adrien," Alya's eyebrows perked up in interest. "Basically, going to his fencing matches and seeing him with Kagami.. it just really hurts. I just kinda know that he'll never like me back." A stray tear slipped from her unusually dull eyes, but Marinette quickly wiped the tear away, not wanting Alya to see her cry.
"Oh, Marinette.." Alya pulled her into a tight hug, caressing her carefully as if she was fragile. She pulled away after a few seconds, then put her hands on her shoulder and looking intensely into Marinette's eyes.
"Mari, you don't deserve to be hurt like this. You deserve a guy who will recognize the amazing girl that you are. As nice as Adrien is, he is incredibly dense,"
"But I don't think I can move on so fast.. I really like Adrien. I really do," Marinette sighed.
"I understand, girl. But for now, let's get to class.." Alya put her arm around Mari again, and they walked to class.
-----
When Marinette and Alya took a seat, Nino shared a worried look with Alya. "Dudette, are you good? What's wrong?" Nino whispered.
"It's about Adrien.." Was all Marinette had to say for Nino to understand. Of course Nino would know all about his bro and Kagami. He didn't think that their relationship would affect Mari this much. Luckily Adrien wasn't here yet to hear this exchange.
"Oh dude.. I'm sorry.." Nino sympathized, feeling quite worried about her mental state right now. She didn't look so great.
The conversation had to end soon, as Adrien walked into class just then. Nino gave Marinette one last glance, trying to comfort her, and turned around.
"Hey, Nino," Adrien waved, taking his seat next to him.
"Hey, dude," the two shared a fist bump like they did every morning. Adrien took a look back to see a depressed Marinette.
"Nino, is Marinette okay? What happened?" He leaned close to his bro as to hide what he was saying from the girls behind him.
"Sorry dude.. I don't think I should say.." Nino shrugged and got out his work for class.
Adrien looked at Marinette, confusion filling him. He didn't enjoy such vagueness. Ladybug did this to him sometimes too. He hated it. He was worried about Marinette. She was his friend. Shouldn't he have a right to know?
Marinette could barely look at Adrien. His adorable green eyes filled with worry just hurt her heart even more. She covered her eyes with her bangs, wanting to avoid meeting his gaze. She buried her face into Alya's shoulder, unable to control her tears. Alya held her gently, quietly reassuring her.
Adrien was so confused, worried, and kinda angry that his friends were keeping him out of the loop. He just turned around to focus for class. He hoped it would clear up later, and that Marinette was okay.
-----
It was time for patrol. She was dreading this. She knew Cat Noir would be able to pick up her sadness. He was very persistent and she didn't want to talk about it. But she had a duty to the city.
"Marinette, why don't you take a break for today?" Tikki squeaked, flying up to her holder's face. "You can just transform to tell Cat Noir that you won't be coming!"
"I don't want to leave Cat Noir alone. He shouldn't have to patrol the whole city by himself," Marinette pet Tikki's head softly. "But thanks, Tikki. Don't worry though, I'll be fine. Maybe patrolling will clear my head."
"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette yelled out, being enveloped in a pink light, and then being covered in her Ladybug suit. She climbed up out onto her balcony and swung away.
-----
She met up with Cat Noir at their usual meeting spot. "Hey, kitty," she said, sounding less enthusiastic than normal.
"Hello, m'lady," he bowed deeply, before taking a seat next to her on the top of the building. He observed her carefully, noticing her bluebell eyes looking so lifeless. Her posture slouched.
"Are you okay, Ladybug?" he asked. Her mood was reminiscent of Marinette from earlier. "Did something happen?"
"It's probably silly," Ladybug laughed dryly. "It's just about a boy. He getting closer with someone else, and it kind of hurts," She was surprised she shared that to him.
"Sorry. I know you have feelings for me. I don't mean to hurt you," Cat Noir suddenly pulled her into a hug. But she didn't pull away. She felt comfortable. She felt better. She felt... loved.
After what felt like forever, Cat Noir pulled away. Ladybug could feel the heat building up in her cheeks. Maybe Cat Noir wasn't the worst person to love.
"Thanks, k..kitty.." she stammered over her words, feeling embarrassed. A familiar warm feeling was filling her heart. The heartache from earlier seemed to be slowly ebbing away, being replaced by that warm feeling. She couldn't describe it. But it felt nice.
Cat Noir could see the blush forming on her cheeks. The life coming back into her eyes. Had he done that? It made him blush too. She looked adorable, and the fact that she appeared to be warming up to him made him love her even more.
Ladybug could basically see the hearts forming in his viridescent glowing eyes. She could feel her heart beating in her chest. Her face must've been as red as her suit, as she felt very hot. She gulped nervously, seeing Cat Noir's mischievous grin. Maybe it was time to get over Adrien. Maybe it was time to give a chance. She could feel herself slowly getting closer to Cat Noir. Now there was only a gap of a few inches.
She quickly closed the gap between them, their lips meeting. Ladybug couldn't help herself. Cat Noir couldn't either. At first, he was taken aback by Ladybug's actions. But he wasn't going to take it for granted. He pushed against her lips too, loving every moment they were spending. He placed a hand on her face, caressing her pink cheek gently. She had placed a hand in his messy hair, ruffling it up even more. They were both in heaven. This was bliss.
When they finally pulled away after being basically inseparable. They were breathing heavily, their foreheads leaning against each other as their eyes stared into one another's.
"I..I love you, Cat Noir,"
"I love you too, Ladybug."
🥺🥺🥺 i live for this
A dragon is a fierce creature. Strong. Dangerous. Greedy.
