NO ‘CAUSE WE ARE ALSO MISSING ANOTHER THING HERE THAT MAKE MY BLOOD BOIL
In what universe is RAFE the one in charge of JJ’s burial? AND JOHN B AND KIARA ARE OK WITH LEAVING HIS BODY IN MOROCCO? Not bury him in the Outer Banks…next to his mother or at Poguelandia?
WHAT EVEN HAPPENED TO THIS SHOW’S WRITING?
Wally came up with this, makes us do it at every reunion.

Eddie dying in Dustin’s arms. I’m not okay.
i see you’re a tory fan / defender in one of of your posts (me too), so i wanna ask you- how did you find her in part 2 as well as her arc.. i wanna discuss this so bad with someone to see if anyone feels the same way i do.
i genuinely believe she was done dirty in part 2 for a pelothra of reasons. i would even go as far to argue that her character has BEEN being done dirty.
Tory’s always the best character in this show, no matter how much they butcher her arc, but it was a disappointment as you said. Her grief, her promises to her mother and need to provide for her remaining family, the driving forces behind all her choices has been sidelined for a romantic plot that don’t get me wrong, I liked because that’s the best romance written for this show, but still.
There’s no depth to her connections with her senseis or teammates and no fucking explanation of how the hell did she actually end up there. Her fights are cool, but God forbid she is shown to be better than Samantha or Zara now.
Daniel and Johnny did not care about what was going on with her, Sam, Devon and Robby made her grief about them and their team, and the bit about all of them being there for her irked me: the girl left in tears after becoming an orphan while yall handed karate headbands.
So yeah, she’s fantastic but has the possibility of being so much more if they stopped introducing rapists and useless characters during their LAST season.
Thank God fan fiction exists.
took me 4 hours but yeah
In Season 4 when they were in the same dojo, hell, even in Season 3, I feel Robby and Tory should've had a firey rivalry fueled by hatred because like... To Robby, Tory's the bitch who attacked his girlfriend and was the main catalyst that sparked the event that practically ruined his life.
To Tory, Robby's the asshole who kicked her boyfriend off a rail and broke his spine.
Until they eventually saw eye to eye, I think Robby and Tory should've been rivals for a little bit.
They let her free from the saw trap for a total of 3 minutes, she was so happy :(
john kreese will see a blonde teenager with an absent father and anger issues and say is anyone gonna manipulate and abuse that. then not wait for an answer.
I feel like so much of Robby’s insecurity this season was coming not just from splitting up with Tory but from the realization that she doesn’t trust him the way he trusts her.
Robby and Tory are the characters who have been through the most shit and a lot of the same shit. They have the most trust issues but Robby keeps giving his heart to people, he can’t help himself, and Tory doesn’t.
However, she’s the first person in a long time that he trusts completely, she understands him and he thinks she trusts him too. The final straw for his confidence is realizing that isn’t the case.
Tory not trusting him when he trusts her so much and has put so much weight on that being the foundation of their relationship, one of the lost important relationships in his life, just completely shatters Robby’s views of himself.
She keeps him out of so many important moments in her life and while that’s clearly a result of her own trauma I think it brings up a lot of feelings for him that make him really doubt himself. Specifically after having that conversation where Tory breaks things off and Robby is clearly very hurt by the fact that Tory didn’t come to him when she needed help.
It shakes his confidence in this very important relationship and in himself just in time for the start of the Sekai Taikai and drags up all his insecurities.
would you change anything from tory’s introduction in season two to now in season 6? like her as a character and her depth as a whole? like what things would you take out or include?
one thing i’d like to mention is i wouldn’t have tory and sams rivalry to be about miguel. that was lazy and rushed. i’d probably have it start for another reason and built up to the school fight.
Hi, thank you for asking! This is a tough question. As I mentioned before I personally have almost no problems with the writing in the first two seasons. The set-up for rivalry between Tory and Sam at that beach party was pretty well executed in my opinion. Sam and Miguel's kiss seemed to be only the last straw that was added to already existing tension. But I agree that love triangles are a tired and uninspiring tool to create a rivalry.
My main problem is with season 6 mostly. And the changes I would like for Tory as a character would also imply changing the whole show’s trajectory. It means a lot has to change which I will not go into. But the short answer is: 1. I would like to see Tory actually interacting with her family and her mother specifically much earlier in the series. It would be cool to explore that part of Tory’s life.
2. I wish that “cheating” drama with Robby never happened. Cobra Kai writers love their love triangles. But what they actually have showed wasn't even a love triangle. It was a whole other situation that they won’t even acknowledge in the show itself.
3. I would like Tory to open up more and to have time for self-reflection. If she and Robby actually haven’t stopped interacting with each other in that gap between part 1 and 2 that would be great. I always find it weird how Cobra Kai and Miyagi-do students completely stop all communication the moment they join the opposing dojo. Even if they used to be best friends prior to the whole karate war. It is just unrealistic.
In general I would like to see Tory operate under less dire circumstances that way maybe changes in her personality could happen more naturally.
