Comment ROP theories for Ep 8 below! I’m busy and I won’t be able to watch the episode until much later at night. I wanna be entertained by your theories.
And here I had a headcanon that Mirdania would survive and be one of the elves that follow Elrond as he establishes Imladris
Annatar really just murdered Mirdania, and with the flick of his wrist, made it look like Celebrimbor threw her over the parapet instead.
Just a short video tribute to Gil-galad's hair. (Sound on please!)

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Jack Lowden’s Sauron.
The Facebook group and Reddit page I've found that don't tolerate the kinds of people who post endless poop gifs are great and all but there's one thing that's starting to frustrate me and it's that it feels like everyone is SO MEAN about Jack Lowden's Mairon.
I keep seeing he isn't alluring/beautiful enough and he's not giving off Dark Lord vibes. But he just lost his masterboyfriend/tormenter and got an unexpected promotion. He's trying to stamp his authority but not doing it with quite enough ruthlessness and confidence to prevent what happens to him next. He's meant to be Sauron before he's had a few centuries of literally steaming with rage as a puddle of goo-worms. I like the theory that in the beginning Halbrand was Mairon flirting with being good again, until he gave in to the temptation to go back to his old ways - except this time he's much more confident and skilled having had time to think about where he went wrong last time.
And maybe this isn't his ONLY First Age/Early Second Age form and he did look more alluring at times but he doesn't need to put on that sort of performance at that moment in time, because he's on the losing side speaking to his fellow losers.
Having said that I don't think Jack Lowden is ugly so I don't know what people want? Maybe he's not as dainty looking as people usually imagine Mairon but...shapeshifter remember?
Idk, yes Halbrand/Annatar is hot but I just love pathetic Ginger Mairon and his sad wee kitty ears.
Babes, it is INSANE to me that I haven't seen anyone else post this theory, since IMO it's super obvious how the showrunners are going to bring Celeborn in.
Do y'all know who breaks the siege of Eregion in Unfinished Tales???? Do you? Have they not twice now in two separate episodes talked about how they need ONE MORE ARMY, just one more.??
Gil-Galad already told Elrond they didn't have a big enough army to fight Mordor and at Eregion. Elrond was counting on Durin to solve this problem and now we know Durin can't come. Twice now they've opened that door like "they need one more army where are they going to get one more army."
Celeborn - that's where. that's who. that's how.
Current fandom seems to be focusing on him like a housewife or something which is bizarre to me. I guess maybe this is an effect of the Peter Jackson movies.
Celeborn and Galadriel are the original battle couple, you guys. Always have been. My guy was leading armies into the Battle of Beleriand even before Galadriel came to Middle Earth. By the third age, he has led armies in more battles than any other elf alive at that point except maybe Glorfindel. Dude commanded armies at almost every single battle from before the sun rose through to Sauron's ultimate defeat in the third age. He's a warrior.
Flame me if I'm wrong I guess, but they basically engineered this entire season to debut him in the last episode as leading an army in to save the day at the moment when all other hope is lost. Which... is exactly what happens in the books.
Granted, I have no idea where he is gonna get an army. Maybe he ended up in the east somehow and brings elves from Lorien or Greenwood.
I already mentioned this in my live reaction but I desperately need Sauron to be haunted by Celebrimbor in the next seasons.
Imagine Celebrimbor standing in the background all the time, quietly laughing at him, sowing doubt, taunting him. Imagine Sauron getting increasingly frustrated until he throws Fëanor's hammer at him. I can practically hear him screaming, "Why did you make me kill you?" when he struggles with forging the One Ring.
I just - I need this to happen.
Celebrimbor
I headcanon him having blueish grey eyes and a different shade of black hair to his father (paler and more on blue side) but I guess everything is lost through filters haha, I also wanted to draw this type of eyebrows for a long time
He ties up his sleeve and hair during work
