The text reads, “It’s not often that I get visitors..” The next panel on the top right shows the outside of the Grimm Troupe tents. The text reads, “You seem troubled…” The panel in the middle shows Hollow standing within the tent now illuminated by the lamps within the tent on their right side. The text reads,“ What ails you,-” The bottom right panel displays Grimm slowly swirling a wine glass, revealing him to be the narrator. He has a knowing smirk on his face. The text reads, “-old friend?”

Second page of comic. Four panels are shown, the top panel displays Grimm looking down on Hollow from his chair as Hollow hands him a note. He looked curious, if a bit shocked at the sudden interruption, spilling his wine.  The text reads, “You’ve come with a message? Intriguing….“The next panel on the left shows Grimm reading over the note, taking a brief pause to process what the notes says.” The panel on the right shows Grimm at ease, now understanding what the vessels sudden visit is for. He lowers his wine glass and chuckles softly. The text reads,“ …Bravo friend, bravo. I must commend you, for I know this is no small task. To come to one with such a request is quite daunting.” The bottom left text panel reads, “To seek guidance more so! I thank you. Even so, I must ask if you are certain?” In response, Hollow vigorously signs to Grimm, “Yes!!!” In response to them, the bottom right text box reads, “Oh! Such eagerness! Perhaps time amongst your kin has instilled some brazen assurance? Delightful!”

Third page of comic. Three panels, the largest being a full page spread. The upper left shows close up Grimm’s eye. The upper right shows a close of Grimm snapping his fingers. Following this sequence the text box in the upper middle reads,“ Well, no time like the present,” Followed by a text box in the lower middle, “LET US BEGIN” The rest of the page shows Grimm, Brumm, and Divine standing in the of the main tent arena, having been summoned by Grimm’s snap.

Fourth page of comic. A full page spread of Hollow changing into four different outfits. There is dialogue spread about meant to bolster them, slowly but surely giving Hollow more confidence to enjoy themselves. The background is a hazy mist with essence floating about.

The first outfit is inspired by tech-wear, they are wearing an all black jumper with belts fastened around their waist with chains hanging from it. Along with black gloves and boots with metallic accents. They facing away from the viewer, their hand itching their head. They look a bit bashful, either not feeling the style or timid at modeling outfits in front of others.  The text closest to them reads, “Oh come now, don’t flicker out just yet! We’re just starting!”

The second outfit is a yellow turtleneck with beige slacks with matching heels. They are wearing a grey trench coat with a white blouse tucked underneath. in their hand they are holding a gold fan with copper tassels and red beads dangling off it. Their body is more relaxed. The text closest to them reads, “Marvelous! That’s the spirit!”

The third outfit  shows Hollow in a blue sapphire dress that slowly fades to indigo, facing the viewer with their hands draped over their head. they have a white shawl with silver and blue tassels draped over their shoulders with a white lace veil draped over heir head. Their head is tilted upward, showing off the pearl broach they are wearing. The text above them reads, “Quite the show-topper, I must say~”

The fourth outfit is Hollow in a cloak dress combo modeled after Grimm’s aesthetic. The outer part of the cloak is black, the inner shimmering a fire red only getting brighter the closer to the hem. The dress has a similar ombre pattern, going from black to a fiery red. Hollow stands with a hand on their hip and blowing a chaste kiss at the viewer. The text on the left of them reads, “Ha! Don’t get cocky!” Meant to be read in playful tone.

In relation to gender identity I wanted to draw Hollow in different outfits and them becoming more comfortable with expressing themselves. After all they’ve been through, I wanted to draw them just being relaxed and simply enjoying the moment.
