Jack was explaining that he was leaving soon to the kid when once again the guy (is name was apparently hiccup) showed up once again. He was worried about the children which fair the situation did seem unusual, a bunch of kid sudently stay out of the village to play with a stranger no one has seen, yea. No surprise when people get nervous about it. But this guy was percistant , at that point Jack was almost certain that he is the only one that still suspect anything. Not like it would change anything for the spirit since there was no way of him seing him.

As he approach and started speaking to the kid like he did for the past few day, Jack started playing with is dragon. And how cool was that? If there was one thing he didn't think would come out of this ordeal was him meeting and discovering that dragon where real. And as he started trowing snowball at him (the dragon) he seemed to really endjoy tha game. Really it was surprising that out of all thing around here giant flying and flamme trowing lizard were the one that could see him. The fact that these kid started seing him to was a good surprise but hey, viking where known for being supperstitious.

Why was everyone so silent suddently... did something happend? He turned around to look at the group only to see the young adult pointing at something. What was it? Something behind him? No, there is nothing there... Surely he couldn't point at him right? He was way to old to see him...

Then out of nowhere Hilda (one of the younguest of the group) started running toward him screamin "Jack, Jack , he can see you!" and the other rapidly swarmed him and hiccupt jupping with joy. Meanwhile all Jack could do was looking at the man trying to decipher what was happening...

Hiccup tried again a few time to drop by when the kid were playing to see who was this guy. And everytime he found no one but it was clear that the kid had played with someone else. Hiccup started to worry about what that stranger may be planning to do with the young vikings.

The other thought that he was stressing over nothing and Astrid even said he was worrying them however he just couldn't let it go. The kid were playing with someone who hide everytime an adult arrive at the scene and that could only spell trouble.

So hiccup changed stratedgy. He started to listend more carrefully to what the children said after comming back. He waited for them to make a mistake and reveal anything. He asked the parent what they knew, what the kids told them, what they were speaking about when they thought no adult could hear them.

And after some time he got a name. A young man that was good at snowball fight named Jack Frost. At first he wasn't sure the parent said it was an imaginary friend, but to may kid talked about the same person and it was almost never intentional. They would react as if they had reveald a great secret and if some found it funny but hiccup was now certain about the existant. The other may not believe it but he did, someone, a stranger had been playing with the kid in secret for weeks now.

Thus the next time he tried to see this man interact with the youngs ones he told toothless to stay behind and followed the children by foot. They were going to the same clairing right beside the wood as they had done every other day. But unlike his precedent attempte this time when he sneakily approched the group he saw him. This "Jack Frost" that the kid spoke about and that had worried him so much was a teenager. He must have been 15 at most and if he was in fact not from Berk hiccup wasn't bothered by that anymore.

Nooo what troubled him was that the teen was showing pretty clair sign of early hypothermia, didn't wear any winter clothe good enought for the weather and didn't have ANY SHOES ON?! How was he not freezing in place? This kid clearly needed somewhere to go. So hiccup started approaching, he needed to know what was really going on.

With how hard it had been to actually be able to find him Hiccup found it odd how easy it was to get him to follow. He would have tought that the stranger would try to make a break for it... Nevertheless there was a lot of thing weird about him. First of all it was a teen, younger than hiccup, he was not prepared for the cold. Really it was a miracle he acting normal, he had frost on him even on is hair that seemed white because of it but must be blond. Why was he playing with kid when he could stay warm? And there is still the mystery of why he was playing with them and how he got on the island without behing seen by anyone but the children.

As the group entered the village He would have thought that they would get weird glances because of the teen, but no one seemed to notice. Right now hiccup wanted to take the teen to the dining hall who must be empty at this time of the day. He could hear the kids giggling behind his back and whenever he turn to see what was happening he saw Jack looking around nonchalantly.

Something felt wrong, he kept looking around but no one seemed to realise the teen was with them. And just like that they made their way up to the dining hall. As they approche the doors some of the kids puffing Stoick, Gothi and Gobber where leaving.

"-Dad i ne..." he started before behing stop mid-sentence

"-Not now Hiccup, we will speak later, handle it." and Stoick got down the stair continuing is conversation.

The kids and Hiccup got on the side to let Stoick who was vehemently speaking to Gobber pass. Exept for Jack who was fixing Gothi that had stopped at the top of the stair and was now looking weirdly at him. The teen still in the way af the 2 vikings Hiccup tried to pull him away but before he could His dad just went trought him!?

When hiccup got closer to the group the chatter felt more or less silent as the kid stopped speaking to the teen in order to look at the dragon rider. To hiccup surprise the stranger made no move to hide when he saw him.

"-Okay kid, jigs up. What's happening here? he started meanwhile Toothless got closer to the group.

-Nothiiiiing... said a brunette denying as always, like they always did when he came. Hiccup gave her an unimpressed look before continuing.

-Your new friend isn't even hiding. I know your secret no need to lie. How and when did this start?" He asked will pointing at the teen who wasn't paying any attention to him but had started trowing snowball playfully at toothless.

The kids looked at him with big surprised eye. Okay hiccup get it that no one found out about it until now but the couldn't be that surprise that he could see a boy that isn't even hiding. They looked at each other then at him still pointing in the direction of the teen. Who seemed to realise something wasn't right since he stopped playing with the dragon and was now looking at him. Hiccup sighted, this was going to be long.

"- Hey, no one is in trouble, but i espect an explenation. Your parent wont be happy when they find out you have been hanging out with a stranger. " he said with a stern look. If it continued like this he was just going to take the young boy to warm up before asking for a correct explenation. Like how the boy manage to get to the island without being noticed by anyone or if he was alone and more than anything how the hell was he still standing will behing clearly unwell because of the cold.

Then it was as if something switch on withing the children's brain because one of them started running to the teen with an ecstatic smile screaming: "Jack, Jack, he can see you!"

Hiccup didn't understand what that was about but now he was surrounded the kids who had huge smile while the teen (also surrounded) had a strange look on his face.

(PS: here i imagine that this story happend somewhere before the secound movie, and Jack is or at least look younger than hiccup. I wont ship them and if i can i will had merinda and rapunzel later on. I also want to say that because eglish is not my first language a lot of the name expecially from the httyd movies are different wich make the writting somewhat difficult)

After a few minute calming the kids Hiccup gave up on having an explenation right now. What was more important was the fact that the teen looked dangerously cold. Hiccup approached him planning to get him to the village somewhere where he could warm up. Said teen still looked out of it, probably still surprise to have been found out. This changed when he cross the group of children to stand right in front of him.

"-So. You are the one the kids have been playing with? he asked still somewhat unsure of how he should handle the situation.

-Yea, i was passing by and we had a snowball fight so i decided to hang around for a few day. I didn't mean to worry anyone. he answerd and if his woice was steady and assured the way he fidgeted with his stick said othewhise.

-Thats not true! Jack was always dying of laughter everytime you showed up trying to find him!" said one of the kid, the teen quickly turning around to shush him playfully. When he face hiccup once again he seemed to hide a smile. Hiccup piched is nose, feeling uncoming problem.

"-okay, What's your name?

-Jack Frost.

-Cool, soo... i am hiccup, and YOU seem only a minute away from getting frostbite. So we'll get you to warm up in the village before having an extencive explenation." said hiccup leaving no place for refusal. This somehow made the teen grin before he tried to conceal it.

"-Yea, okay. he answer way to nonchalent.

-But Jack they c... started one of the girl before being stopped by Jack.

-Don't say it, anyone else want to see how long it take him to realize?" he said, all of the kid now having a mischevious glint in there eyes. A few already giggling . This did not please hiccup.

"-What was that about?

-nothing." he answerd full of mischief. And once again no matter how much question he asked the kids or the teen he got no answer.

So he resignated himselm and after asking Toothless to kept an eye on the guy, him, the strange teen almost freezing in place and a buch of children started they way back to the village.

Yea me too wich suck because i would love to see more of them but there is always a ship. Does someone have recomandation of fic where they are no ship with these 4?

Part 7

His face must have been funny as the entire group enrupted in laughter but hiccup did not find it funny. When the laughter had calmed Jack had told the kid to go back to the village promising them to return play the following morning while Hiccup was still to shocked to do anything. Gothi had started to follow the 2 vikings (Stoick and Gobber) after giving the group a meaningfull look.

Jack had smiled at her before putting his hand on Hiccup's shoulder to lead him away, the young viking still too stunned. And, ho, Thor is hand were freezing. Once away from the other villager he had let him go and Hiccup started questionning him.

"- Okay, what was that? How did you do it? What happend? Did no one see you?!" Jack had started to open his mouth to answer but Hiccup did not even realize as he just looked at him and said "What are you? A spirit? a Kororchun?!" he asked eye wide looking at jack from every angle as if he was trying to solve a puzzle. A potential dangerous puzzle, as he still made some distance between himself and the strange boy.

This did not seem to disturb Jack who leaned against his staff unbotherd, if not slightly amused.

-Yea, no don't worry about that i am j-

-WHAT DO YOU MEAN "don't worry about that"?! I'VE JUST SEEN YOU-somewhat screamed hiccup, this was crazy and the other guy was just acting as if everything was fine, only the kid had seemed to see him?! But Jack stopped Hiccup before he could go into another one sidded interrogation.

-Listend, i am not here to cause trouble. It's hard to explaine but i am looking for something. The kid seemed quite morose here and just wanted to have a little fun maybe asked some question before going.

This seemed to stop Hiccup who calmed a little bit.

-Do you know about any legend, myth or even story with time related object or theme? asked Jack to a very confuse viking.

-No? Jack sighted

-That's what i thought, after tomorow i am going. for an instant he seemed tired.

-What where you even doing around here? Said hiccup still suspicious.

-Looked around and one or two snowball fight, not that it should matter to you anyway. he straightened up . I guess i'll see you tomorow then. he had gone back to his smilling expression. And before Hiccup could react the wind picked up. The snow was flying everywhere and when it stopped the white haired guy -Jack- was gone.

Part 6 - part 8

the post that inspired the korochun thing in Hiccup dialogue. I had a lot of difficulty finding it again.

Just discovered trobtd

It's my first try at writing anything so please be kind.

The kid at berk acted as if they were hiding something. Okay not bid deal but! This something made the kid go to who know were for most of the day (playing or something) and had started sharing strange story. But everytime they acted as if they had just revealed a secret and the onlything their parent manadge to understand was that they meet a stranger outside of the village. So the parent tryed to followe them but when they did they found nothing strange, just kid playing in the snow.

So hiccup thought (as did the rest of the village) that it was the end of it. But once when hiccup was flying over the island with Toothless when he saw the kid acting as if someone was telling them a story. They were sitting on the snow in a half-circle around someone he couldn't see. Curious he decided to land behind them to see what they were doing.

However once on the ground hiccup still couldn't see what the children were looking at before. Whoever was there must have left when they saw him.

So he tried asking the kid but they were trying to make him believe nothing was happening he even saw a few of them shushing their friend.

Now hiccup is sure that something fishy is going on and continue asking question to the kid and meanwhile toothless as sterted playing in the snow. He even started drawing in the snow with a weird stick that looked like a shepperd's crook when hiccup called him to go back to the village looking suspitionsly at the forest.

Part2

Danny try really hard to hide his secret identity to his parent and seing how he seem to have been adopted by the bats i wouldn't be surprise if it was after his parents found out and reacted poorly. So no i think danny would try too hard to kept their nightly activity .

DP X DC PROMPT: DANNY'S AN ASSASSIN?!

So Danny gets adopted by the Waynes somehow.

Now, he's a teenage vigilante, he knows all the signs. And he can clearly tell that Damian and Tim are sneaking out under the cover of night to fight crime as Robin and Red Robin.

While ordinarily this would lead to the connection between the Waynes being Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, and various other assorted vigilantes, that's not what we're here for, so instead, what happens is that Danny thinks that his two absolutely normal little brothers are sneaking out, meeting strange people dressed in spandex and Kevlar on rooftops, and punching criminals.

He has no issue with this.

The only issue he has is that Tim and Damian are inexperienced, I mean, Damian's twelve or something like that, he can't have been Robin for long. He's not particularly willing to get back into heroism himself, though, so this leads to him casually dropping random tidbits of information that only an ex-vigilante/hero/assassin/other part of the caped community, would know into regular conversation.

Like, if Tim's using bandages on his hand, Danny will suddenly drop the fact that that particular brand is very absorbent and works really well to take care of large, bloody wounds, like bullet holes in important places.

If Damian's reading a book about different knives, and their creation processes (because be real, he totally would) Danny will read over his shoulder a bit and then just point out a knife that would particularly good for stabbing someone in the stomach, or slitting someone's throat. (he knows this because of a. his rogues trying to kill him and b. Dan likes sharp things.)

The three of them are watching some superhero movie or something, and Danny goes on a twelve-minute rant about how the fight scenes would never work that way.

Tim and Damian come to the conclusion that their new brother has been trained by the League of Assassins or something.

Here's the issue. Danny hasn't.

So Damian starts dropping little hints that he knows that Danny was part of the League, for example a reference to a technique that only a League member would know. Danny, who has been trained in hand-to-hand by Dan, who was trained by dead League assassins in the alternate timeline, knows the moves.

Danny is just happy that his baby brothers are taking his advice, and opening up to him too. Damian is even starting to talk about fighting with him, and he thinks that they might actually tell him about their nighttime activities soon.

Finally, the two confront him on it. And by that, I mean that like the emotionally constipated bats they are, they utterly fail in their interrogation because they can't just come out and say it out in the open.

Tim: so Danny, I noticed how you know a lot about fighting. and first aid, and stuff.

Damian: I have noticed this as well. Might I inquire as to where you gained these skills?

Danny just thinks that they have figured out his past as a vigilante and that they are worried about him being hurt.

Danny: Don't worry about it. I don't do that type of thing anymore.

Now that's a deflection if Tim's ever heard it.

Damian, digging for more information: I wish to know. Maybe I can learn from whoever it was that taught you?

Danny grimaces slightly before answering.

Danny: Trust me, kiddo, you don't wanna learn from the people who taught me this stuff. They squash you like a bug.

Tim and Damian take this as confirmation that Danny was involve in the League. Danny just means that pitting his rogue gallery, which consists of exclusively ghosts, against living boys would be unfair.
