this website: “we need more complex female characters”
korra: *exists as a complex, less than perfect hero who was - tbh - very charming and who was also dark skinned, (clearly based off) indigenous (culture), and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community (on a show that premiered BEFORE gay marriage was legal in the US)*
some of y’all: “nah, not like that”
yes. Love this.
I've always loved the idea that Azula was friends with a servant that's her age that lives around/works in the palace.
I've got no reason to believe this or anything to substantiate it, I just like it a lot
I like to think Rachel really wanted to hate Max at first, but then she actually meets her only to immediately be like "oh no" as soon as she does, meanwhile Chloe's just standing there with the biggest shit-eating grin because she already knew that was going to happen.
Max is, of course, unaware of this.

Shout out to everyone doing the hard yet necessary work of posting about fictional characters kissing online.
Just a quick one coz I have comms to do but I really wanted to make a #CaitVi art for Valentines day 🥹
Mel Medarda study !!!!! i love my wife
Ppl who say that Ares is an unproblematic feminist just reek of privilege, they don’t see war as horrific mass destruction and death, (especially back then where it included the mass rape and enslavment of women) war is a distant thing they ignore. Ppl who actually experience war or at least have surface level understanding of history and politics understand that an entity that represents war is probably not some cutie patootie just bc he doesn’t have any myths that explicitly state he assaulted women.
This heals so much pain from these two. PLEASE read The Poppy War trilogy it’s so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
