The Moon Spirit (Yue)

Yue gets her glow-up (it's a bad joke I know XD), and becomes the moon spirit. I followed the show's lead on the shape and fabric change for Yue's transformation. I looked at some of the famous illustrations of Chinese Fairy Maidens/Deities (which take the Tang Dynasty style fashion and extra draping and exaggerate it into a mythical lady) and added back in shapes, motifs and textures from Yue's previous design.

i want Yue and Azula to get married and I want Yue to absolutely adore all of Azula's old gang to the point where Mai would kill for her, Zuko goes to her for advice on everything, Ty Lee throws the wildest sleepovers for just the two of them and when the five of them go to Ember Island in the summer it is a sight to behold

yuezula being the link between the fire characters and the gaang (because a lot of Zuko is kind of an enigma and he does jack shit to bring the groups together lmfao) is just so close to my heart like yessssss I do want Toph and Mai to go on an adventure together and I do want Sokka and Azula to become enemies.2 over a legendary chess game and I do want Aang and Ty Lee to bond over sacred Air bending arts and how they've influenced modern gymnastics.

And then Azula has someone who loves her enough to bring her into back into this loud annoying family and Yue has someone who doesn't ask for her love to be shown in sacrifice, and it's okay if nobody else in this whole place understands because they've got each other and the fact that the other person has decided again and again to stay is all the proof either of them needs that there are no more cages to break out of. Like???? Thank you for perfection

Sokkla Headcanon - Azula grew up never being allowed to have a stuffed animal. Her father viewed them as childish and said she didn’t need them. When she and Sokka start dating, Sokka wins her a dragon stuffed animal at some local carnival and it becomes her first stuffed animal ever.

do people not understand that the point of legalizing sex work is regulating sex work. so that sex workers can like, be legally protected if they experience violence and such violence can be prevented by putting legal guard rails in place. instead of our current system that leaves sex workers with no recourse or protection

Virgin shaming and slut shaming piss me off in equal amounts. There’s nothing magical or special about being a virgin, and same goes with having sex. You know what’s magical? Shutting the fuck up about people’s personal choices. 

I really don't understand how "without getting kudos or comments a fanfiction author is going to assume that people who clicked their fic didn't like it" became a controversial take.

I don't know why some people think an author should imagine, or guess that people who click their fic enjoyed it it when nobody is telling them that.

If you're re-reading a fic constantly, or leaving it up in your tab so that it re-loads every day for a hundred days the author is not going to know that unless you tell them. They'd love to hear it. It would make their day.

And if you don't tell them you liked their fic, there's no reason for them to assume you did.
