I, for one, think that CAPCOM didn’t go Far Enough by not making Mia blatantly evil. It would be so fucking funny, just imagine it: she’s like Wesker levels of evil, she creates terrible molded bioweapons and has plans to destroy humanity and generally fucks shit up and YET
she’s still married to Ethan Winters. Who is, as CAPCOM loves to remind us, Just A Regular Guy.
Like Mia the evil mastermind is married to the guy who looks like he stocks the shelves at a grocery store. She’s trying to bring about the end of the human race but she saw this little Texan IT guy and went, “yeah you know, this one is alright.”
She and Chris getting into several deadly shoot outs where she’s turned herself into a mold monster and he’s screaming threats at her and Chris asks her what role Ethan played in her evil master plan and Mia stops like: No. You don’t understand. Ethan Winters is A Normal Man. Like, he’s at home paying our taxes rn. He’s gonna make spaghetti for dinner.
Chris:...why???why would you marry him???if he’s Not Even A Part Of It???
Mia: idk he’s sweet and dumb and strangely normal. Like abnormally regular. I hate everything about humanity but Ethan is An Alright Guy.
Please give me Evil Mastermind Mia and her dumb loving husband Ethan who never fails to exasperate Chris Redfield bc he cannot get it through his head that his wife is trying to end the world
Dreamworks has the best couples/relationships ever. The thing I've always admired about their couples is how mature and well-developed their relationship is. How one respects everything about their partner, gives each other time to build trust, and also helps each other become the best versions of themselves. They rarely (or even never) say "I love you" to each other because their actions are powerful enough to evoke that.
Also: the characters individually are some of the most well-developed characters in animation (yeah, I said it).
So yeah, these are just my thoughts. I just adore DW's characters and ships.

i learned of “Box beds” – cabinets with beds in them and, sometimes, lockable doors – were used for privacy and safety in parts of rural medieval Europe before individual bedrooms were common. They became fashionable even in homes with bedrooms and remained in use in Scotland into the 1900s (x)
