I don’t even like Yumeiza all too much but I think my favorite thing about Yumeiza and Akimoya is the sheer contrast between them.

Like you get comics like these and shows that apparently Yumeiza referred to each other by surnames for so long it’s mental mind fuck when they finally call each other their first names. They’re very slow with their relationship and careful.

And then with Akimoya you get them not only achieving the ‘1st name’ milestone in less then three hours, but ALSO ‘holding hands,’ general flirting, and calling each other their friend. Akira could say ‘Tomoya you dumb fuck’ in ch.1 and it would be completely in character.

It’s mentioned Tomoya held Akira’s hand to guide her away from Shion, right? Well it’s not like they mention he let go. Therefore, I like to think they met katsuhide and Iza while holding hands. The true reason Kyouran knew they were close— he peered into the room over and saw them holding hands and immediately thought they were a couple in denial.

They’re touchy like that, but Tomoya still gets flustered when Akira outright asks. He’ll let her do whatever she wants though, because he feels at peace when he can feel her hand.
