Ok, so I go from watch a movie about Aretha to now going back to when I grew up in the 80’s when we use to go out to the clubs every weekend dancing and hearing the sounds of Freestyle. This is actually the first time I been to a Freestyle concert, and I even paid for this ticket, that’s how bad I wanted to see all these artists I grew up listening to. Make each day count! So Happy February or as Hallmark Channel is calling it Love-u-Ary. So tonight I am doing what I love- going to concerts. Tonight I get the rare treat to see Mr. Harry Connick Jr in concert. I first started appreciating him after his work on the When Harry Met Sally soundtrack and became a huge fan of his Christmas stuff. I have always thought of how cool it would be to be able to sing with a full orchestra, so I will to live it out vicariously thru Harry. Well we have another weekend upon us, which means it is another opportunity to do something that I love to do which is laugh. Well it is another weekend, and another chance to me to enjoy a concert that is free courtesy of WCBS Radio. So it appeared that this summer has been dominated for me with the sounds of 80’s. As you only have these 2 weekends left officially for summer to change over to fall, make the most of your time doing what you love if you can. Well I go from enjoying my love of music , to now my other love-date night with my wife. She is a big fan of the Big Fat Greek Wedding Series, and this one is filmed in Greece, one of the places we want to travel to. So take the time when you can to do the things that you love, when you can. It is these small things that make my life feel so fufilling. God Bless
