I grew up in fandoms that just fused names sometimes people argued about who's name should be in front then I had a dsmp phase (before everything fell to shit) and everyone there uses phrases + the amount of people in the group for both friendships and relationships beeduo benchtrio etc and now I'm in yugioh and I love the elaborate names with shipping at the end BUT it is difficult to know just at a glance who is in a ship based on the name. so I keep having to look stuff up like I joined a rare pair fandom event and wanted to draw kiryu x aki and I didnt know they were called sadistic shipping until I saw myself on the spreadsheet next to it very fitting name though. the long names are clever and fun
