beleth, the ashen demon!!!
or: jeralt’s nightmare adventures raising his autistic-spectrum child with impulse control issues lol
(byleth’s special interest is gathering battle statistics :3 it eventually makes them into a really good tactician but, uh, it takes them a long process of trial-and-error to git gud enough to predict the outcome of a battle before fighting it XD)
I wonder if Videl was angry at her dad for taking credit for Gohan’s work? She grew up benefitting from that deceit only to realize her privileged life was due to fraud… Did she ever talk to Gohan about it? Here’s my take as to how that could’ve gone down :’)
Doing what? the twitch of Itachi’s eyebrow said, but the boy said nothing.
The genjutsu was subtle: the widening of his jaw, the thickening of that slender neck. The Akatsuki cloak gave his shoulders a broader girth, too. All an illusion to make Itachi look older than his fourteen years. Kisame was not fooled, but he was amused. He wondered how long Itachi had been casting it, renewing it, slowly aging it until even he himself had forgotten the youth of his face.
“You’ll grow into it, I suppose,” Kisame murmured.
Itachi emitted a subvocal noise of annoyance. Kisame laughed and brushed past him. He’d killed all his partners and he’d likely end up killing this boy, too. But until then, he’d enjoy provoking the farce until his facade fell. What fun it was to live in such interesting times!
(Based on my headcanon that Itachi had a long-running genjutsu of himself at all times, which would explain why Itachi always looked so damn old in everyone’s memory even though he was supposed to be thirteen when he massacred his clan.)
Thinking about the early days of Robotnik and Stone... They're both orphans with a dislike of humanity and a fascination with machines of mass destruction, so I wonder if they ever talked about their personal lives and private traumas.
...Probably not. But maybe they came close?
My headcanon for Dende :) I figured his road to godhood was parallel and opposite to that of Kami’s – a sort of yin-yang motif, if you will.
