Song: AJR - Finale
my poor heart
Posting this here too because it actually kills me but everytime arakawa draws alphonse doing this my heart breaks 5 million times over. it's just a really nice detail showing his age through body language and I really love it. It's also interesting in my opinion because he can't feel the cloth but he does it anyways because I'm assuming it was a nervous tic of his. Which makes me think more about how his whole situation works in terms of like proprioception and things that carried over from his human body like this nervous tic of his.
I love rewatching adventure time them getting sad about fern

I came across this article in the wall street journal and thought it might be helpful for some of my fellow spoonies
the smiley is so happy and ominous...but man am I excited to see what comes next !!
If I'm understanding correctly and path A is the one where Leo gets un-Prison-Dimensioned, do you think after the curse was lifted that Leo would study himself in the mirror sometimes and catalogue all the little changes his body accumulates once he starts aging again. Like, just celebrating little scars and smile lines and all the little signs of aging that he wasn't sure if he would ever get to have?
Also, would he maybe go a little buckwild with tattoos and piercings because he can change his body again and all of it will actually stick?
Thanks!
I love this idea!! Leo would absolutely be happily acutely aware of any changes he goes through after going without for so long. Every minute change denoting growth and life in a way that he’s so wholly unused to yet missed with his entire being.
I will say though! None of the paths actually involve Leo getting “un-prison-dimensioned” as it’s combined with his very soul now. The thing that makes Path A happy touches upon a similar concept, but he’ll always have that piece with him in each route. (For a hint - look back on when I first mentioned path A. The name I gave it is very important :))
As for tattoos and piercings - no actually! Personally I’d think he wouldn’t get much of either aside from probably one or two tattoos based on his family (especially on his cracked shell) and maybe going through with that one tongue piercing Cass gave him, but for real this time. This is because it’s been soooo long since he’s seen his body without any coverings or injuries, so he’d like to see it unobstructed, especially his stripes that he takes so much pride in. He loves to actually be able to change for once, but he wants it to come with time and life rather than just covering himself again, if that makes sense.
i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:
1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online
2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links
3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)
4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)
In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)
you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
