(i drew this. i just remembered i can repost my own stuff. i thought this would be silly. sorry 😔 i just like it a lot)
hiiiii this is a self portrait !!! basically just fanart of myself because contrary to some i do in fact love myself
me blabbing on about the process etc vv
anyway !! i really enjoyed playing around with this and trying to figure out proportions. i want to improve my artistic skills so my thought process was hmm. what face do i know best. and so concluded that drawing myself would be good to learn proportions :)
and i was right! not to toot my own horn but i learned a lot from this drawing and i love it a lot i think it's super cute
ALSO i liked drawing bubbles and adding colour and being silly. trying to slowly step out of my comfort zone and mess around with coloured pencils but i probably need to keep refining my normal pencil skills first
the drawing was loosely based on my pfp for my main blog (@lexieisyourno1fan) but i kinda deviated from it because i lowkey forgot to use it and i thought i looked a little different. it's close enough though so who cares. maybe i accidentally gave myself a little bit of a glow up
this blog is basically just me documenting my journey and hopefully you guys will see improvement (i say this as if people actually see this but ykwim lol!) but i will still post fanart along the way because that's most of what i want to draw atm :)

the moon and the star on the gold nails was based on all the night sky imagery in the songs whilst the rest was drawn from the album cover !!
