I Have Been Taking Some Asks On Lofter. 😂Well, People Can Ask My "Wings Of The Ravens"AU Danny Some

I sometimes do some warm up before designing my original characters. 🤔🤔🤔 In this case, I drew a few Dannys.

It's very interesting to change the proportion of a character and to compare different ways of simplifying. This time, I drew several designs that I often use. There are a few differences among the designs, but honestly the similarity in the ways that I used to simplify the character is pretty obvious, as you can see. By the way, this Danny is my AU Danny (that alternate universe where Danny is a "nice" version of Dark Danny). 😂

I think this one looks very nice. The characters that I draw always look like some kinds of little children, but he is not really that young.

I actually have more than one DP related alternate universe. I only focus on working on one, but I also like lots of AU ideas. 😂

Some concepts or ideas are quite popular (I mean, they have already been done by other people many times), and some of them are really interesting. Create some AUs, then you have an excuse to draw or write different Dannys. Usually, it means finding more ways to torture Danny (let his friends and family watch him being tortured). 😂

I honestly think Ghost Speak, Ghost Hunger and the whole "Danny is turning evil (and he eventually becomes evil)" thing are interesting. I am also interested in concepts (they are fictional!) like "an enemy within the protagonist", "our hero has always been the monster", "a rejected redemption", and stuff like Body Horror, Transformation Horror, scenes with a little bit of blood (not too much!)… 😂😂😂 I kind of combined some of my other AUs with my AU "Wings of the Ravens", and there are some of the elements I mentioned above in "Wings of the Ravens". 😂😂😂

There was something wrong with my Tumblr account and it was kind of upsetting. I didn't know what to do, and then I just stopped posting things. I sometimes want to give up posting things here (or posting to other social media) anyway. Recently I realized that I still like writing posts and posting stuff, and I created a new account. Then after realizing that waiting for the Support to help me was not a good idea, I sent a request to the Support, and now my account is alright again.

More importantly, I am feeling a little bit better at the moment, so I can post something.

Early concepts of the AU.

I continue writing stories about my DP AU (finally! 😩😩😩). My stories are messy, and I have no idea when I can actually start drawing pages. 😂

I have written at least two endings. I think I want a pretty sad one (probably depends on how you define something sad). Danny will die in the end, and then, it's the end. He will be in a pool of red blood, his own blood, alone in a dark alley at night. This is one of the possible endings, Danny dies at a young age.

I wanted this to be the ending, yesterday, but there will be some problems if I do that, and it's a bit like an alternate version of the TUE Danny when I think about this ending now. 🤔After some more careful considerations, I might want something not so depressing as well. I mean, my AU is already a little bit sad, and it's nice to see Danny having an easier and happier life. It's likely that I will put the "lying in an alley" scene somewhere in the first few chapters. It's still going to be an ending, an ending of a story or of a chapter. Every freaking chapter will (probably) have an ending I guess. I don't know or really care about how many chapters/stories(?) I will create. I might prefer to continue the comic when I want to. In this case, I don't think the first ending I mentioned is a really good idea. 🤔🤔🤔

Another thing is that I really want to use the element of body horror, especially transformation horror. There's transformation horror in the original animation, and it's going to be fine when something like this is shown in my freaking little drawings and comics. 🤔

Tak was so freaking difficult for me to draw. 😳☹️🙃

This character is really different from Zim, Dib, or Gaz (or other characters). I mean, all these characters are crazy in different ways. And Tak is just not actually that insane? She's more reasonable and serious anyway. 😳 Also I just realized that Tak's human disguise has three-fingered hands when I drew her, and in the show, Dib didn't notice that detail at all (the humans there usually have four-fingered hands, I think). 😳

Here are some illustrations about my AU, and my comic project Wings of The Ravens!

There're the lovely dolls again! And there's Daniel /Danny! (I like drawing Danny and exploring his character and in fact, I've drawn way more than these…)😁😁😁

Honestly, I reconsidered and changed some parts of the outline, concepts and settings. So I want to get some time and make little comics now… (it's like writing conceptual stories with drawings,…)

…Status

I'm at School of Design, Jiangnan University. The university is in 无锡Wuxi, and I'm far away from home. The climate, environment, people and custom in Wuxi are different from those of where I come from, and I'm still getting used to everything here. The campus is pretty. Its amazing gardens and "dinosaurs", I mean birds, are definitely great. The life at Jiangnan is busier than I thought, and it's going to get busier in the future. I already talked about some school stuff on instagram.

Though I have a busy schedule, I still want to work on Wings of The Ravens. I mean, I am working on it. 😁😁😉

Also, I will begin to translate Doppelganger soon! I've already interpreted most parts of the comic, now I need to actually write dialogues.

To make this freaking video, I had to do almost everything myself, basically. Like recording, editing, translating…

And the result isn't really good enough. There're so many things that need to be improved. The sound was recorded separately (only 6 or 7 times), and I couldn't talk well enough. There's no background music, which is also a problem (纠结是否要用，我觉得用别人的音乐有点不太妥当，我以前是做过，但是那是在项目要求要有音乐的情况下才用的……). My video is kind of awkward to watch. 😂😂😂

BUT IT'S GOOD TO HAVE A TRY, right? 😂

I might make more stuff like this, and probably try to improve the quality. I want to make sth better you know. 😂

I guess I'll play the music myself next time. (Probably another bad idea)
