Here are some illustrations about my AU, and my comic project Wings of The Ravens!

There're the lovely dolls again! And there's Daniel /Danny! (I like drawing Danny and exploring his character and in fact, I've drawn way more than these…)😁😁😁

Honestly, I reconsidered and changed some parts of the outline, concepts and settings. So I want to get some time and make little comics now… (it's like writing conceptual stories with drawings,…)

…Status

I'm at School of Design, Jiangnan University. The university is in 无锡Wuxi, and I'm far away from home. The climate, environment, people and custom in Wuxi are different from those of where I come from, and I'm still getting used to everything here. The campus is pretty. Its amazing gardens and "dinosaurs", I mean birds, are definitely great. The life at Jiangnan is busier than I thought, and it's going to get busier in the future. I already talked about some school stuff on instagram.

Though I have a busy schedule, I still want to work on Wings of The Ravens. I mean, I am working on it. 😁😁😉

Also, I will begin to translate Doppelganger soon! I've already interpreted most parts of the comic, now I need to actually write dialogues.

It's my au. Dark Danny is freaking OOC here. 😂 I mean, like really out of character.

↑A lot of pink and purple colours. It took me a few days to draw (🙄I was so slow). I think his shirt is a bit too detailed (I took a photo of myself and drew my T-shirt's shape ).

And this little Dan has lots of clothes. (like actual clothes, instead of his own ectoplasm or sth)

@suekis-stuff gave him that new dress. 🤔 I should give him a few more dresses.

Additionally, he has a cat.

That cat is called Matty, and she is supposed to be Maddie the Cat, but I just don't think having a cat called Madd is a good idea! (so she is technically my oc)

Maddie is likely to be an American shorthair or Persian cat. This oc is inspired by British shorthair though.

I'm not satisfied with my freaking illustrations. I know nothing about cats. Dark Danny is too freaking nice and soft in this creepy au, and I am making more ooc stuff with no regrets. 🙃

↑I actually drew a freaking scene! And my drawing really looks so much better! The style inspired by Jay P. Fosgitt's art (his designs for characters in mlp comic are amazing).

↑They wanted me to draw sth nice(?) and a bit angsty(?) as well, with two Danny(s) in it… I wasn't quite sure what that means😂 so I had to imagine the whole scene myself and considered quite some options, and originally I was going to draw sth horrifying, but then I remembered that the content should be PG-13. After carefully considering, I drew this, and I think it looks pretty fine. 😂

↑They just wanted to see them eating ice cream together. I even practised a bit of drawing ice cream for this… 😂

↑I really like Lena! The show is freaking amazing! Sadly I don't have the chance to watch even the last part of season one! Not to mention the following seasons! 😂😭😭冇得仁兄搬运… 个个都去译迪士尼其它啲节目…😂哪怕有生肉都好啊… 唉

This looks like a quick sketch. (I think I drew a bit too fast back then😂)

You know, I'm actually pretty proud of all the Ducktales contents this time… I It was my first time to draw DT… Ah, Scrooge is a freaking awesome character! He's one of my favourite characters.

This bad boy is a bit harder to draw, compared to other characters here. But… but this is one of my FAVOURITE villains, and it was really interesting to draw him.

And I know I do draw a lot of Dan, but

Little Dan doesn't count! I mean the one I always draw is from my freaking AU, and everything is different, okay? 😂😂😂

Oh, and the sketch before I make the final drawing… I practised a bit… But didn't take it too seriously, and I KNOW the obvious problems… I could draw better, but I didn't anyway.🙄 I wanted to focus on gesture lines so I switched to a more cartoonic style…

I drew a Zhejiangopterus linhaiensis and here are two versions of my Zhejiangopterus.

It took me 8 days to work on the Zhejiangopterus. Reconstructing the creature was not easy for me. Honestly something is wrong with the Zhejiangopterus's chest and shoulders, and I didn't really draw the coracoids😂. But anyway, it was good to try to draw a new species and learn something about Zhejiangopterus. I will draw the species again in the future.

Lapis OC. 😂 She is the gemsona of an OC of mine. The origin of this OC is a brown eared pheasant, so as you can see, this Lapis has lots of elements from eared pheasants ( being aggressive sometimes, the serious/probably fierce look, the hairstyle and the clothes with patterns).

Lapis is often very serious, but she is actually playful and is interested in Earth Creatures (pheasants for example). She is also good at shape-shifting. Lapis's good friend, Larimar, is an optimistic and cheerful gem (there's a crack on her gem, because she was hurt by a Homeworld soldier. ) They hide from Homeworld Gems and Crystal Gems. 😂

I wrote a brief summary of Lapis's story (It's a short biography in fact. ) (It's more detailed than the content above). Usually I don't like to write biographies for OCs, but it was for a design project stuff in a QQ group. (It is basically an AU project stuff. I joined the group in order to browse other cool artists' designs. )

I didn't bother translate and post Lapis's story here. I have already posted that to Lofter anyway.

And here are some canon characters.

I wrote freaking weird ideas sometimes. This scene was written on 3rd January, 2021.

小朋友坐在白皑皑的雪地上，眯着眼看，只见周围的雪花和血花都开了，花很漂亮，很温暖，他闭上眼睛，躺了下来，睡在了柔软的红色花海中。

A possible ending. It basically means that there's a boy sitting on the ground, staring at the blood blossoms and snow around him. Then he lies down and sleeps in the snow. I mentioned this scene before, and I want to draw it. 🤔

I misspelled Yutyrannus (I do sign "Yutyrannus" sometimes. My signature is not easy to remember I suppose. ), so I painted ink to cover the wrong word.

(This is an AU, and characters are OOC in some ways. Don't say I didn't warn you. )

He seeks comfort from Daniel. (As you can see, I made mistakes during sketching. )

He can also require comfort from Vlad. But…

And the following ones are drawings I sketched in 2019. I made part of the pencil sketch when I attended CP 25 Shanghai (on December 21st, 2019).

(Then I finished the drawing when I went back to Wuxi. ) I didn't draw my OC Bella (the haunted doll in the pencil sketch. ) in the end because I didn't know how.

I am posting the drawings I created during Dannymay (FINALLY! ). (There is English translation of the dialogue below. 😂)

Sam: Danny, there are numerous ghostly fish outside! We are going fish-watching!

Tucker: Our equipments are ready!

Danny (thinks): (I) want to sleep.

Sam: Alright, let's go!

(I tried to translate the dialogue. I personally don't think it's the best translation I can do. I was busy and tired last month, and didn't want to do the translation and didn't post these. If you have advice on translating, please tell me about it. 😊)

They are going fish-watching (It's like bird-watching, but you will watch ghostly fish instead. I have to create this weird word in order to translate. ). There are shoals of ghostly fishes migrating, and it's a great time to have a close look at them. Also, to see those creatures clearly, a special equipment is required. 😄😄😄Those fish (fishes) (there are a few species actually) have names, and I might give them some names later. I will probably design the creatures, too. 🤔

The fifteenth prompt was "Favorite AU" (I usually use "favourite", but whatever), and I really love one of my own AUs, the one with a probably weird name, "Wings of the Ravens", of course. I have some screenshots that show parts of the drawing process (I have already posted a drawing video here! The video is a bit creepy. 😂), and I would love to share them with you. But Tumblr won't let me post those (long? they are "long" anyway) images, so I could only give you guys a link towards my post on Lofter:

1. Eyes. Daniel yells.

I drew some concept sketches, but in the end I made sth different from these two sketches. I was too lazy to draw more than character or to find proper references of making a doll.

2. Flowers.

The design of the purple/blue plants (flowers) were inspired by hyacinth, but they are in fact fantasy creatures. The tree with blossoms is a creature I mentioned before (it's like an alternate version of Blood Blossom, but it's not really Blood Blossom).

(Some of the lines are messy. 😂) It isn't a very happy scene, but people can have their own opinions.

By the way I personally think many of my stuff is pretty serious. 🤔

I have finished my all of my final exams. 😂 My grades aren't as good as I expected. I was a bit angry but I am fine now. 😂😂😂 (I didn't failed any of my subjects anyway! 😉) Well, I suppose I can be a bit more active here this month. And I will try to post more art. It's not really convenient for me to post stuff. 😩 But I like sharing my works…

I realise that everything I posted here is about Danny Phantom in some ways…

Why? 😂 I have no idea. It feels like it's a DP blog here…But atm it really is just my personal blog… 😂

Maybe I could post some more stuff… Like OCs and more practice art and silly articles! (🙄wait, I'm not ready… 😂😭)

😂 And now I'm still not as active as I planned to be… I don't feel quite motivated. 😕😞😞 But maybe I will be more active (when I've finished some more drawings and sorts of things)

I've graduated from high school. The result of my exam is fine, and I don't really have too many problems choosing colleges.

Also I'll take the CPET (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing) in July. Well, my health is fine, but CPET is really necessary to me.

Btw, I still have pages of Doppelganger to edit. I finished translating most of the dialogues (a few months ago), but I only edited two pages. 😂

I will post the comic to Lofter for sure. And now I will have to consider posting the comic to Weibo as well, though this is contrary to what I said before. Users on Weibo are a bit aggressive, you know. It seems that Lofter is facing a very serious situation, and I hope NetEase won't give up the platform.
