Lets be honest though, the way in which Yousef opened up to Sana about Even. The obvious pain he felt with regards to what went down. The fact it made him question so much and lose his faith.

Then you have to think perhaps Elias was telling him how much Sana wanted him to go, trying to give him a subtle pep talk because he can tell Yousef likes Sana too.

Then he gets there and Even is there. No warning or anything. After everything he told Sana, she blindsides him like that. Blindsides his friends, including Even, like that. He thinks perhaps her want for him to be there never actually had anything to do with him and her, but is all about her trying to patch things up between the balloon squad and Even. He sees that subtle smile (that reads a lot like a smirk in that moment) and he gets pissed off. Hurt.

I’m not saying that makes him kissing her best friend okay at all. But I can see why he’d be mad at Sana for perhaps setting things up how she did.

I love hype for books because there’s no trailers, no pictures on grocery store products or brand tie-ins. Just a bunch of people saying things like, “This book DESTROYED me,” “I couldn’t sleep until I finished it,” “this book ensnared my soul with occult enchantments of ink and paper,” “I felt like a hollow shell of tears when I closed it for the last time.”

And more and more people go “Yes, yes, this sounds like exactly what I want.”

Friendly reminder

To anyone and everyone keeping their eyes on the live action Titans show- it’s TITANS not Teen Titans so please don’t confuse the two. They are completely different things (well, not completely, but they have none of the actual same themes, as one would say). Please help me spread the word- the show’s getting a lot of hate already because people are expecting it to be like Teen Titans when it’s not.
