hello yes can westerners who know nothing about kpop pls stop writing essays about how ‘fake’ and ‘manufactured’ kpop is?
just bc you saw bts attend the bbmas that one time doesn’t mean you know the ins and outs of the kpop industry or their career (or any other groups).
please stop perpetuating the idea that idols PAY their way into the industry. because that does not happen. and it’s a massive slap in the face to all idols out there who have dedicated years of their life enduring horrendous training, extreme dieting and often times even leaving their family and friends to pursue their dream of becoming an idol.
all idols have trained so so hard to be where they are, and i honestly can’t stress that enough like just do ten minutes of research into life as a trainee and you’ll see what i’m talking about. so don’t try and downplay their success as an artist just because you think that western artists are ‘more creative’ or ‘more talented’ bc well it’s just not true anyway like how many western artists can sing and dance at the same time and not sound like they’re dying??most artists over here don’t even dance anymore anyway, reason being they know they can’t sing at the same time
basically what i’m trying to say is stop discrediting them. a lot of kpop groups write and produce their own music. and ALL groups have worked ridiculously hard to get where they are. stop comparing them to the likes of One Direction (that’s just embarrassing pls don’t ever do that,,,no rlly,, don’t), Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber because it’s not a fair comparison, the kpop industry and the western music industry are worlds apart you can’t compare them because they don’t operate the same.
thinking about all the “small” art that’s ever existed. songs that were only ever sung in one village. stories written by children that got lost in the shuffle. personal paintings that didn’t survive the test of time. how they affected the lives of just a few, but still existed, still mattered to someone.

Me:
God Bellamy Blake and Clarke Griffin have such a fucking great history together and it hurts me so much?? Like “I’ve got you for that”
“together”
“the only way we’re going to pull this off is together”
“you’re out of your mind if you think I’m letting you go this alone”
“I need you”
“thank you for keeping me alive”
“I can’t loose Clarke”
“I can’t loose you too”
“and I trust you”
“I believe you”
“I need you. I need the guy who wouldn’t let me pull that lever in Mont weather by myself”
“I want you to say that you are with us”
“you want forgiveness fine I give that to you, you’re forgiven okay?”
“brave princess”
“if I’m on that list you’re on that list”
“do you have any idea about how much she cares about you?”
“the heart and the head”
“you keep her centered - you got that backwards”
“she called you on the radio everyday for six years”
“you’re not the only one here trying to save the life of someone you care about”
“pleading for the life of a traitor who you love”
“two hundred and thirty lives for one. She must be pretty important to you - she is.”
“we need each other Bellamy”
“you got such a big heart Bellamy”
“who we are and who we need to be to survive is very different things”
“we’ve been through a lot together you and I”
Things people who are unfamiliar with IT need to be prepared for before seeing Chapter 2 (kinda spoiler warning? I won’t try to go into great detail):
There is a very graphic suicide scene that will more than likely be shown in it’s full gory amount. If that is something you will not be able to handle, I would not suggest seeing the movie.
The movie WILL include a scene dealing with discrimination and a hate crime. There is a scene in the book where a gay couple is walking home and one of them (perhaps both, but the graphic part only happens to one of them for sure) gets attacked by a group of men. He is cruelly beaten and thrown off a bridge. Something absolutely horrific happens with Pennywise at the bottom of the bridge, but I will not be spoiling that. (Might I ad, the only reason they were attacked was because of the hat he worse. It read “I <3 Derry” which Pennywise can be seen holding in one of the new pop dolls.
The movie WILL be dealing with Beverley’s abusive husband. You can see on her wrists that she has bruising, which has most certainly been caused by her husband. This scene with the two of them could be very very serious and could also be very very triggering for some people.
The movie includes what has been called the bloodiest scene in horror movie history.
This movie will be A LOT darker than the first one. Things were different and not nearly as dark as they will be in the new one.
Remember, the first movie was revolved around CHILDREN and CHILD LIKE EXPERIENCES. There will be some darker and more serious material in this film.
I heard on an interview that there is a scene dealing with flashing lights which may or may not trigger epilepsy. I am sure they will comment on this if it will for sure have any possibility of triggering a seizure. BUT. IF THEY DO NOT, PLEASE GO ABOUT THIS MOVIE WITH CAUTION.
I know, most people who will be attending this film will be able to handle it’s graphic content, but people need to understand that this movie will be EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. There will be lots of blood. Lots of scenes involving cutting. Several deaths. And a lot of forms of abuse.
There are multiple deaths in this film. Two of them involving main characters.
The movie will definitely be different than the book, so all my warnings may not be accurate and I will update after seeing the film.
This is all I have for now. As more material comes out, I will update this post. If any of this seems triggering to you or will make you uncomfortable, DO NOT SEE THE FILM. This movie will be very scary and intense. Please share to bring awareness to those who are unsure.
Just feel like I need to re-introduce everyone to these wholesome behind the scenes- feel free to add:
And my personal favourite:
“And they didn’t desert me at all. Instead, they did something for me that would make my transformations not only bearable, but the best times of my life.” (Remus Lupin- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)
Me: I’m having such a hard time, can y’all please go easy on me?
An important quote since some people keep forgetting:
