Distorted self image, depersonalisation, disassociation, feelings of emptiness, etc are all symptoms of bpd. It can lead to you struggling with your sense of self. Using Joana watching herself in the mirror and us as the audience seeing her reflection when she has her eyes closed and is facing away from it, as well as showing her POV when it shouldn’t be hers, is a good representation of that. It shows how she doesn’t have a grasp of who she is.
What was Danny glovers important thing????
Alright.
So, there was a scene where Peter Parker was looking for Donald Glover’s character. He asked Karen, his suit, to bring up the stats. If you saw, it was revealed that Glover’s character’s name is Aaron Davis. In the comics, Aaron Davis and his brother, Jefferson Davis, were a crime duo. They would do burglaries and stuff like that. But then Jefferson fell in love and left that lifestyle behind. Meanwhile, Aaron continued. In the movie, when Spidey is talking to Aaron, he tells Spidey that he has a “nephew” that he wants to protect. This means that Jefferson and his wife already had the kid. Now, who is that wife? Rio Morales. And who is the kid? Miles….Morales. Donald Glover plays Miles Morales’ uncle who will end up becoming a supervillain by the name of the Prowler. The Prowler ends up being the first supervillain that Spider-Man Miles Morales fights. :) Pretty nifty reference, huh?
So Miles MCU confirmed by Donald Glover
one thing I love about skam is how small and seemingly insignificant moments come to mean so much as the story progresses. in yesterday’s clip (Fy Faen) a lot of us noticed sana tuning out the sound of the crowd and the music from the party as she was preparing to do her salah. at the time of the clips release, it kinda displays how, in moments of prayer, there is only you and allah. and that was a really important image to show non-muslim viewers because it connects us to one another. but after watching it again the next day, when the next clip dropped (I Feel It Coming), it gains a new purpose. on Saturday morning, as she’s doing her prayer, the sound of sana’s phone rings louder than the prayer in her head. she has to do the salaam and break her salah because she can’t focus. then the music starts and she tries, she really tries to continue her reading but she can’t tune it out so she breaks it again. where the night before she was easily able to turn off everything around her, even when she was in the room of a complete stranger, it shows that something has to really be wrong for sana to not be able to focus on herself and allah. I think the ease with which she was able to begin her prayer the night before really highlights how much she’s hurting when you compare it to how distracted she is the next day, and I really am just amazed by Julie’s ability to show her character’s internal struggles manifest themselves in unspoken ways. because sana doesn’t say she’s hurting, but we see how off she is and we’re able to know just by watching her behavior.

Happy 39th Birthday, Michael Fassbender! (April 2, 1977)
A gentle reminder that even if you haven’t finished a book in days, months or years, but you still love books, that you’re still a bookworm.
You know why? Because books will always be there for you when you’re ready to go visit.
