Omfg…everything makes sense now. Omelas motel in the trailer is based off of the book “the ones who walk away from omelas”. Basically it’s a utopian society that prospers from the misery of a child which makes PERFECT SENSE considering the hella muted colors in the beginning of the trailer. The book is based during a summer festival thus concluding the beach and the carnival set up. I’m shook. The album is dedicated to the youths who feel like society is only thriving based off of their suffering and saying that we’re not alone-that we can create better days together. It’s dedicated to us.

Remember the last clip? It shook us, right? But we saw it coming because of the spoiler pics that was leaked, which sucks. Imagine not knowing that fight happening? The shock level would have been off the charts!!

It’s fun to watch without a spoiler, so please, please, please.. someone petition for Skam fans to notice this thing, like.. the Skam cast will be filming the whole week, leave them alone. I want a spoiler free experience, damn it!

you know so i’m a psychology student and an abuse survivor so i have a pretty keen eye for the red flags in people’s behavior and this one day several years ago i was sitting there and really got to thinking about taylor’s struggle with the media and other celeb’s struggles as well and it hit me really hard that celebrities are essentially in emotionally abusive relationships with the public

they’re constantly put down and criticized for everything: their appearance, voice, talent, words, financial status, etc., their privacy is invaded, they’re threatened and assaulted, they’re stalked, they’re constantly told by others that they’re doing things that they aren’t doing (gaslighting), etc.

and honestly the moment i took that in and really, really understood it, my heart broke for the artists that i love

you know what i love? that yousef works in a kindergarten. likes to cook. likes to dance. and it’s implied that sana isn’t keen on cooking. likes science. likes basketball. skam is breaking muslim and muslim gender stereotypes.

I am totally in love with this tv show, not just because we have pretty guys, pretty girls and pretty things about life. It’s just because we have everything bad and good there because our lives aren’t perfect and that’s why i love skam. 

They show everything that happens nowadays with our society. They show every struggle about it and that’s why i am completely obsessed with it. 

They don’t cover up the ‘’imperfections’’ of caracters’ faces, they just show real people, real love, real world, reality and i really want to say thank you to the person who had the idea to make this serie, the best serie in the world, i can’t stop thinking about it for one minute, it’s completely insane and the things you learn while you are watching every ep are amazing and i think it’s important to educate the new generation as well.
