im on tumblr bc im a romantic this energy doesnt exist on any other platform
I call for a new tomorrow,
but hold yesterday's hands tightly,
the grip is powerful,
and the darkness is obscure to most.
I thrive in the sun,
I feel the gentle rhythms.

Jamil B. Holway, tr. by George Dimitri Selim, from Grape Leaves: A Century of Arab-American Poetry; “Throbbings”
The moments between giggling beginnings
& sobbing peripheries.
My body got well aquainted
with your amber touch,
now remains unbothered in the alleyways
of fading emotions.
My heart remained sangfroid in
your presence,
even when the entire edifice was on fire,
but now me and my little heart burn
in your longing.

And may you have the courage to live your mysteries with an open heart.
Anneshwa Paul / A melancholic December morning
When you touched me & cut me deep with your stare. My eyes bled merging into my lips. The flower of desparation bloomed and i called it LOVE.

do you still feel my sickness in your bones?
