OMG LOL! Drunken Penguin
Someone once told me;
“Warren walks like a drunken penguin.”
I finished my animation of Jenny!! Its staying as a rough animation for class, but I really like how it came out!! * v *
here’s the girl from my reblog, now in her own post! There’s still a little bit of August left— and still a bit of time left to wear (and draw) summery outfits!
LMAO 😂😂
so suppose that everything goes to shit in episode 8x05 and 8x06 (like it will). dany burns down king’s landing, jon kills her, tryrion is executed, maybe we get cleganebowl, i don’t know. point is, everyone dies and the whole show is ruined.
then: smash cut to bran, sitting at the table in winterfell. it’s the beginning of episode 8x01. he is surrounded by everyone (dany, jon, sansa, tyrion, missandei, jorah, arya etc.). they all look horrified.
he goes: “and that’s what happens if we don’t get our shit together.” everyone is like ‘damn, we better start working together and not act completely ooc’.
so they do. they defeat the night king. they defeat cersei. jon and dany become king and queen of the seven kingdoms, sansa rules the north. missandei and grey worm sail for naath. jaime gets his shit together. bran keeps creeping out everybody at winterfell. everyone is happy.
so yes, what i’m suggesting is that game of thrones literally pulls a ‘twilight: breaking dawn - part 2’ so we’re spared all this stupid fucking nonsense
‘…is that the freedom you wanted? The freedom to hurt Mikasa?…tell me, who’s the real slave to a piece of shit…?
Tha chapter is so heartbreaking. I cried when Eren insults Mikasa.
An announcement here: I decided to make artbook print and open order in the coming year.
How I Teach Men Not To Talk Over Me: from one feminist to another, when basic respect is lagging and conversations are impossible
I’ve done this to several men, and they catch on rather quickly. You’ll be able to have a conversation right then and there, and it works long term too - they might’ve forgot their manners by the time you talk to them again, but by repeating this, they’ll eventually learn to let you talk without you having to do this at the start of every convo. Source: I have a very stubborn older brother, who eventually learned too.
1. When they interrupt you, stop talking. Don’t try to raise your voice or battle them. Be completely quiet and wait.
2. Ignore everything they’re saying. Do not actually listen - just wait until they shut up. Don’t make a point of anything they say, do not answer to anything they say, do not refer to anything they say here. Literally do not listen a single word. Let them rant as long as they want.
3. When they finally shut up and wait for your reaction, say: ”I wasn’t done talking.”
4. Start over whatever you were saying when they interrupted you. I don’t care if it was a 10-minute explanation of rocket science. Start. Over. Repeat you original thought, but do not add anything related to what they just said while talking over you. That gives them the idea that it’s okay to interrupt you, you’ll still listen and pay attention and they’ll get their point clear without having to listen to yours. (It’s especially funny when you get done and they expect you to keep going talking about whatever they talked over you. The face when it sinks in that you didn’t listen a single word is glorious.)
5. If they interrupt you again, return to step 1. If you find yourself repeating the cycle over 3 times, tell them: ”you’re not letting me speak. Either you listen and wait for your turn, or our conversation ends here.” If they try to make excuses, laugh it off or keep interrupting, end the conversation. Prove them that if they wont let you speak, they’re not worth your time.
Why does this work? First, because sometimes talking over is internalized and men don’t actually notice they’re doing it. Being vocally called out makes them realize it and pay attention to it - especially if it happens more than once. Secondly, by refusing to aknowledge anything they say when they interrupt you, they’ll soon realize they will not get their own point across if they keep doing that. Peoole and especially men have the need to be heard and paid attention to when they talk - when you make it clear that by talking over you, they will not have your attention, they’ll learn to wait until you’re done, because they know that’s when you will be paying attention and actually listening.
Go my darlings. Have some actual conversations where your point of view is just as valid as his. Demand the basic respect of being heard. You can actually have some interesting conversations with men when they’re forced to listen too, when being louder is not going to make them feel like they’re dominating the conversation or winning the argument.
Yes!! This is awesome. But the name...why it must "hanami?" To mainstream I guess. Maybr narusaku fanfom could be got special name. Btw i love ur art
So you see, a while ago I started a doodle of Hanami in her dad’s Hokage cloak (Naruto’s cloak is a deep red with black flames, high collar, and no sleeves). It was to go along with the proposal that Hanami wanted to become Hokage and continue Naruto’s legacy of peace.
I’m not sure if Hanami will become a sage, so I didn’t quite want to draw her in a sage cloak. Then I started to think, knowing Hanami, sage or not, she would come up with her own cloak of sorts.
So here’s just an idea of mine (which is overlapping @pumyteh‘s recent drawing of adult Hanami, hurr). It’s basically a cloak that has 2 flaps. One on the front, one on the back (and the option to zip up or leave open the front while the back is all just one cloth) Completely free of sleeves of any kind. Instead of flames (since I think the flames represent sageness), it’s sakura petals.
Again, in case you aren’t aware, Hanami is named after the Japanese tradition of observing the sakura trees before all the sakura petals fall off. I’m sure you can see the connection between her name and her mom’s.
What do you guys think about the designs? I’d love to see more Hokage Hanami/adult Hanami designs from everyone. Hanami and Shinachiku ended up as such great characters because the whole fandom got together and mashed stuff causing great stuff to be born. If we all come up with our ideas of them as older characters, the better off they’ll be~
We’re keeping our spotlight rolling with @milomars. Milo is a queer, trans illustrator, and a plant enthusiast—he only lives with about 70 plants—based in Massachusetts. His work mostly focuses on body positivity, queer issues and relationships, while almost always incorporating plant friends. Let’s hop right in!
Thank you! Being queer is a big part of my identity. When I was growing up, I rarely, if ever, saw queer love in movies, tv shows, museums. I wanted to make art that showcased and provided a sense of queerness that I was missing in traditional art and media. I asked myself, “What do I want people to take away from my artwork? Who do I want to reach out to with my art?” This sparked not only self-realization but also a desire to represent queer love in my artwork. Representation in art, media, music etc. is so important and needs to be done fairly and by queer people.
Yes! I was really excited to share my work with HuffPost for Pride. I really wanted to focus on the strength of the community while also giving a nod to Pride’s origin and the Stonewall riots. It’s important to reflect on what Pride originally was, what it means to us today, and what is going on in the community. It’s also important to appreciate those who made celebrating Pride and queerness possible in the first place. My HuffPost piece depicts a sense of community while also showcasing each character’s individual self-love and self-pride—I wanted to reflect that relationship with oneself and one’s body.
Post art and be proud of it. Too often artists will only post stuff they think others will like or small doodles, and then remain mostly inactive because they worry that they’re not good enough yet. Also, tag your art properly. This is important because tags allow you to reach a whole new audience.
Build your community by reaching out to other artists. This will open doors to new friends, new experiences, and even good advice. It’s so important to try new things and to learn new techniques.
Lastly, keep practicing! You are doing great, and regardless of where you are right now, you can get to where you want to be. You and your art are important.
I used to use specific terms but found that the more I kept growing and changing, the more my identity and how I referred to myself changed. Sometimes labels feel like small knives to me. The more I slap on a label, the more I feel obligated to stick within the confines of that label. The term “LGBT+” seeks to be inclusive but is still an umbrella term that often doesn’t include the diverse range of identities and experiences within the LGBT+ community. “Queer” came from a desire to be inclusive, and it allows for growth and change within my identity.
Of course, this isn’t the same for everyone—“queer” can mean different things for different people and can be very hurtful so it’s important to be educated and understand that only those who self-identify as such should really use the term. But for me, the word Queer resists definition. Saying “I’m queer identifying” gives you a sense of my identity without really saying much about my gender or sexuality. Anyone who isn’t cisgender can also describe themselves as queer, as a rejection of heteronormative ideas that are forced onto them. More importantly, this is a term that was taken back from those who used it to hurt people like myself—and which has since been reclaimed by a growing number of people.
Thank you, Milo, we’re grateful for you sharing and giving us an insight into your identity and art. Tumblr, who are some other artists we should look into? Use the tag #tumblr pride to share.

Yeah
Hey I'm a sns shipper but u know sns has flaws, im trying not to be bias but I think sns has a better development than ss and nh, I mean they would make more sense, I think nh is alright too but people make it out to be too good when it's not tbh, what do you think?
Not interested in which ship is better tbh, I have more problems with the fandoms than the ships themselves. I just hate on the ships for fun because I hate their fandoms. SK is my favourite shipping fandom, because they’ve been consistently anti Kishimoto and anti Konoha.
Isayama shares a sketch of Game of Thrones’ Davos Seaworth!
ETA: Isayama has added a sketch of Jorah Mormont in another new post!
In his blog post accompanying this sketch, Isayama states that he binge watched (All six seasons in three weeks) Game of Thrones as he drew the manuscript for SnK Chapter 88, which will be officially published on December 9th in Bessatsu Shonen’s January 2017 issue. He also notes that the show has influenced some of the story construction of SnK, though he did not go into specific details as to what parts exactly (Thanks @suniuz for the summary!).
ETA #2: Bessatsu Shonen staff have shared an image of GoT’s Japanese Blu-Ray alongside Isayama’s calligraphy of the well-known GoT quote “What is Dead May Never Die” in Japanese, as well as his signature chibi Mikasa recommending the show!
ETA #3 (December 28th, 2016): Isayama shares one more sketch in his last blog post of 2016, saying that he “tried to draw Tyrion, but this is not Tyrion.”
Unpopular opinion: What I hate to see (but probably will happen anyways lol cuz Shonen manga you know) is Armin and Mikasa forgive Eren after knowing his “true intentions”. In chapter 116 it is made clear that Armin and Mikasa start to realize Eren’s words cannot be taken at face value, and Jean and Connie remind them they are still the most important people to Eren. A protagonist deliberately acts as a villain, hurts himself and everyone around him but in fact sincerely aims for good for his friends — this is such a trope in Shonen manga. The ones who are hurt will eventually embrace their friendship again, and thus their bonds strengthened *Eyes my poor son Killua as well as Naruto and Sakura*. Imo it is also not a good plot design if Isayama amends the rupture between EMA so soon after their argument (which is written so heartbreakingly that you keep wondering how can they even go back to what they used to be.) In the end it will feel like the shiganshina separation leaves no imprint in the entire story.
