I've started to become quite conscious of how things change like summer to fall, I'm happy I'm in a headspace that I'm able to take it all in. the colors are really beautiful the past couple weeks. and I'm just finishing up my presentation for my particles class which is on supernovae~

19 March 2020 | I’ve been rather quiet lately, but here is a little glimpse into what “social distancing” looks like for me. It just so happened that this was the first semester of my program that I was doing almost entirely by distance anyway so remarkably little has changed for me in how I do my coursework. I’m thankful for how little the present pandemic has disrupted my education and know that very few can say the same. My husband, who was until a couple of days ago in the midst of his clinical rotations for medical school in a nearby emergency department, has been much more directly affected and involved in combating the current outbreak. Join me in praying for our entire world—as no one is unaffected by this virus—for when one suffers we all suffer together, recognizing the value and dignity of every human being be they near or far. 

O Master and Lord, our Savior, Healer of all, stay by our side in this time of uncertainty and sorrow. 

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to deserve help.

You don’t have to reach a certain threshold of suffering to deserve help.

You don’t have to have it worse than anyone else before you deserve help.

You don’t deserve help less than anyone else.

Someone who’s fallen into 10 foot deep water needs a life preserver just as much as someone in 100 foot deep water. You don’t have to wait for it to get worse before you’re entitled to reach out, or seek treatment, or talk about it.

Hi everyone!

School is starting in about a week for me, and I am not prepared at all. I’ve been unemployed for about 2 months now despite trying hard to find work. I am still looking, but I’ll never make enough money to pay for the things I need with only a week to go.

The most important thing I need to pay for is rent, which was due on the 1st of this month. If I don’t pay it, I will have nowhere to live once school starts. I don’t want to be homeless, but I can not move in until I’ve paid it. My rent is $660. My move-in date is August 16th, and school starts August 19th. This means I will need to pay my rent by the 19th. Although I also need things like apartment necessities, food, and school supplies, I’m more concerned with actually getting the key to the apartment and having a place to sleep.
