Loved whatever this scene was
Reminded me of Skynet but like. Inverse or something. Now there's ground above you and the endless sky below
Also I love and needed this team up so badly, it would be great if they teamed again in the future
Without filter:
been getting some Basil and Sunnflower antis in my fyp which is weird. Where are these coming from.
Anyways, i'm now 200% more motivated to get better at drawing so i can finally draw Sunnflower being silly
twitter link to the video (in it, you can hear these fascists loudly screaming "are they white?" and "they're white, they're white! they're english!" before letting the cars pass).
remember how the american and british press stirred up an absolute panic about the non-violent, pro-palestine campus protests? how they endlessly slandered the students as antisemitic extremists, creating justification for the violent police crackdown that would soon follow?
compare that now to how they're covering (or not covering) the fascist pogroms in the UK, where, for the past few days, violent white supremacists mobs have been terrorizing muslims, migrants and other non-white communities, forming mobs to intimidate and violently attack anyone they perceive as non-white and non-British.
the hotel shown in the video above is now the second hotel housing asylum seekers that these fascist mobs have attempted to set fire to, and yet, the harshest words the majority of the UK press is willing to use to describe them, are "far-right rioters, "anti-immigration protesters" or, if you're the BBC, just "protesters."
here's from skynews (UK), with the almost comical framing of "anti-fascists (left)" vs. "people protesting"
again, if you compare that to the headlines they were running during the campus protests...
this goes beyond some racist "bias" in their reporting: you can draw a direct link here between the UK media's coverage of palestine, and the fascist mobs willing to burn asylum seekers alive.
obviously there are other factors at play, but the genocide denial, the portrayal of arabs and muslims as terrorists and antisemites (which again, gets projected onto britain's migrant population and asylum seekers as a whole), the overall dehumanization and othering of the palestinian people — all of this has been feeding into, and stoking up, the racism and islamophobia that's now boiling over, and erupting into nakedly fascist violence.
Adobe is going to spy on your projects. This is insane.
its been p common knowledge for decades that light pollution can be massively reduced by just putting shades on streetlamps, and that doing that would save energy, help wildlife, and let us see the stars better, but are society says if u wanna change any minor little tiny thing u gotta dedicate ur whole life to campaigning for it and this is a good ways down the list of priorities for most ppl, so instead i gotta walk past newly-installed streetlamps that are just dumb glass globes that use half their electricity to blast half their light directly into the sky where it does only bad things for no reason and think "we should overthrow the government"
I fucking despise when things fake being higher quality than they are. I don't mean like slapping a slightly misspelled brand name onto an identical non-designer product for purely aesthetic reasons I mean like rivets or thread that are actually glued down rather than punched or stitched. Fake pockets on jeans that are actually just an extra seam. Heavy looking chain that's plastic or very soft flimsy metal rather than anything sturdy. I bought boots which looked like they had a stitched sole 8 months ago and lo and behold the glue holding the sole on is revealing itself by falling apart. You PUT a STITCH IN THERE. YOU HAD THE NEEDLE AND THREAD. AND YOU DIDNT ACTUALLY STITCH DOWN THE FUCKING SOLES. Oh it makes me so mad. Cheap cunts taking the aesthetics of durability or practicality while handing you a product that won't last you the year
I don't want to ask AI a question. I don't want AI to write my sentences for me, at all ever. I don't want AI search bars to be the default and I don't want them to be in such a way that I can't opt out. I don't want this kind of AI in my life and there is no such thing as AI art, there is only theft of art from human artists by AI scrappers. I don't want any of this, I hate it. Maybe in a world that isn't driven by tech bro capitalism we can see machines doing all the dangerous inane things so humans can be free to pursue life and creativity. But that's not what's happening right now and I hate it.
Discord was the worst thing to ever happen to modding, like yes pls put all of those helpful tutorials and tips on a platform that is impossible to search for and definitely isn't known to randomly implode due to petty infighting. Great Idea.
silksong is definitely coming fr fr
It's so funny how Daily Silksong News posted "The End" on April Fool's Day, and the next day the internet lost its shit. And then we got more news in the past month than we got in the past god knows how long. We stay winning

Hind's response to getting nominated for the Nobel Prize.
[Partial ID: "I know that I was nominated for the Nobel Prize for months and I never shared anything related ..
What Nobel Prize when my people are being slaughtered?
What would this even mean if I have been posting for more than 300 days on all of the atrocities Israel is committing and nothing is slightly changing.
I don't feel anything towards prizes ..
I am here stuck under a 24/7 f****** drone ..I am 700 meters away from the red danger zone not knowing where to go ..
I am just here watching the world watching us ..
NOTHING is going to change how I feel towards the world .. like literally NOTHING."
This is white text overlaid against a picture of hind staring at the camera with her blue press vest on. She is inside a car./
