i love how basically the whole fandom has collectively decided to ignore canon and decide that everyone is queer in Teen Wolf
this, your honor, if my favorite thing about the teen wolf fandom
I love that Teen Wolf has inconsistent writing, character arcs that go nowhere or are undermined in the next series, shady characters for no reason.
It’s in all these cracks that fandom has blossomed. I love that some fans said nope to anything after season 2 (or 3, 4, 5) and created from there. I love that others saw it all the way through to the end, then picked their favourite bits and discarded the rest.
I love that some people look at characters that were never fully fleshed out and give them back and future stories, motivations, goals and desires.
I love that artists take characters that were presented as mostly good/bad in the show and go ‘yeah, but what if’ riffing on one moment, word or action to imagine them the other way. I love when writers take the characters who inhabit the grey space inbetween and push them one way or another.
I am not that excited about the movie (I will watch) but I am looking forward to what fandom takes from it and makes from it, even if it’s one image or word.
Scavenge away, fandom.
Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson most certainly had one (or both) of these in his and Matt’s college dorm room
People would totally make a big deal about it and when Matt would ask why Foggy would be like cause not a lot of people are bi even tho there are fuckin dinosaurs on the flags
You know nothing about the situation, mayeb you should come to gaza and see how they treat lgbtq+ members?
How fucking dare you.
When I say nothing excuses genocide, I mean nothing. I don't give a shit if homophobia is rampant there. Children and so many more are DYING. How can you not grasp that?
Homophobia exists everywhere, but it is not in everyone. Generalizing a whole population for the discrimination of a certain demographic is irresponsible and close minded. Those children that are crying for their dead mothers did not call us slurs. Those premature babies that by now have died because there's nothing to power their incubators didn't do shit to us. Even if they did? NOBODY deserves this.
And what of the victims of that discrimination? Our queer brothers and sisters who feared to love openly now no longer having the chance to love at all?
If you care so much about the state of the queer people in Palestine then why are you leaving them to die as well? Because that's not what you care about. Because that sympathy and solidarity only applies to those you deem human enough, right? The rest is abandoned.
Don't you dare justify your bloodlust by mentioning this community. Say with your whole chest how you really feel. And do that without the veil of anonymity. The Zionist Israeli in my comments and DMs on Instagram at the very least cussed me out to my face. Let everyone know who you are and what you truly stand for. Unless you are ashamed. Because you should be and you better be.
So a free tool called GLAZE has been developed that allows artists to cloak their artwork so it can't be mimicked by AI art tools.
AI art bros are big mad about it.
i think we forget about the most important thing heartstopper did for the queer community and that is showing keysmash on television for the first time.

rb to have a super gay 2023
[id: screenshots of tiktok captions. the images say, “but the only reason we still love princess diana is because she did not have the time to disappoint us.”]
begging queer kids to read up on princess diana’s involvement with the community. yes, she was a rich, pretty monarch. yes, she died young.
but the reason why queer people love her is because she used her privilege during the aids crisis to advocate for sick queer men, when very few others would - much less someone of her status.
diana spent years advocating for the health and care of queer people with hiv/aids. in 1987, at the height of the epidemic, she opened the first specialist clinic dedicated to treating aids patients (the first clinic of it’s kind in the uk).
she also fought public hysteria by hugging and shaking bare hands with aids patients, at a time when aids was thought to be spread by skin to skin contact. not only that, she visited patients in the clinic regularly and even comforted them through their sickness.
and when queen elizabeth told her to try focusing on “something more pleasant”?
diana ignored her and kept fighting.
and this is only her work towards the aids crisis. she publicly called out the royal family, brought attention to numerous world issues, and was known as an advocate for empathy and kindness. she’s known and loved as the people’s princess for good reason
I hate it when people get so pissed off whenever I ship two people that aren't canonically a couple and they're like, 'why do you ship them? they have no romantic feelings towards each other' like damn, you must be boring at parties if you only ship canon couples. Get your shit together
