It’s time to call out Andy Suriano and Russ Carney

If you’ve seen the call from Andy Suriano, executive producer and co developer of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (among many other well known cartoons) to join his discord to see more Rise Concept Art, I’m telling you now, don’t. My friends and I have joined and had a terrible experience with this person. He’s been rude to us, especially when he brought up the topic of NFTs and how he wanted to get into them. His partner in crime is another writer for Rise, Russ Carney who also agrees with NFTs.
My opinion of him personality wise isn’t important here, but it is worth mentioning that he is dismissive, and frankly manipulative of Rise fans- who he clearly does not care about whatsoever. Anyone with half a brain cell would know NFTs are dangerously problematic, and to have someone so relevant in the writing industry and a large part of TMNT show support towards them is frankly disgusting. In addition, he also stated to the fans of ROTTMNT in his discord that if they bought NFTs, there was a possibility that rise would get a season 3, proving his manipulative tactics towards young fans who clearly admire him as a creator.
Andy won’t see this, and heck, he’s rich and privileged enough to not even care. But that doesn’t matter. It’s time to hold these rich, white men in power accountable.
