Enemies to "I found you while hurt and had to take care of you and in your vulnerable state I saw a side of you I've never seen before" to lovers
Her hands shook as she held the phone, her body still vibrating with the adrenaline of what had just happened. She closed her eyes, leaning against a nearby wall, the cold air biting into her skin, but it didn’t compare to the ache in her head. "I—I'm at Jason's place... well round the corner'," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
The pain in her head was growing, a sharp throb that made it hard to think straight. Her mind kept replaying the fight—the yelling, the way he had gotten too close, and then the moment when he threw the glass bottle, the impact making her head snap back painfully.
"I... I hit my head. When he threw something," she whispered, her breath hitching as she tried not to break down. "My head hurts so bad. I feel dizzy." She paused, feeling guilt churn in her stomach. She hated that she had to call for help, hated that she couldn't just deal with it on her own, but the truth was, she felt like she was unravelling.
"I'm sorry. I didn’t mean to disturb your night. I shouldn’t have—" The words felt hollow as they left her lips. Her chest tightened with regret, but she couldn’t undo what had already happened. "I didn’t want to involve you, I just... I didn’t know where else to go. I just need you to come, please."
Her vision swam for a moment, and she gripped the phone tighter, trying to stay conscious.

when the other called him to come pick them up he found himself getting an earful from his date. sure it was valentine's day and he stopped their dinner but the call on the other end was too important to miss. his heart sunk when they cried, and he was fast to give his date money. "i'm so sorry.." he murmurs. quickly heading outside and pulling out his keys he head for his truck. "where are you i'm coming it's okay... don't cry.."
Kai let out a dry chuckle, leaning against the counter with ink-stained fingers drumming lazily against the surface. "Amusing?" he echoed, voice laced with that slow, detached drawl. "Nah. Just ironic." His smirk didn’t falter, if anything, it deepened. She was every bit the type that would turn her nose up at guys like him in broad daylight but find themselves in places like this, looking for something real when the walls of their perfect little lives started closing in.
He exhaled through his nose, crossing inked arms over his chest. "So, princess, what brings you to the dark side? Or did you just get lost on the way to a champagne brunch?"
pia was very much a cliche, down to a tee. head cheerleader, dated a jock, prom queen. her dad was in finance and was one of the richest men in the state which came with some baggage she will admit. for a long time she really enjoyed the endless perks that life gave her, but until recently she had tried to break apart from her father's name to shine on her own. not that she did much on a day to day basis being an heiress to a mass fortune and owning everything a person could dream of. she modelled and did various other campaigns especially for social media. she was the polar opposite of the man standing infront of her and how she wanted to wipe that smirk off of his face already. "something amusing, bad boy?" she asked with a raise of her eyebrow as she took a moment to drink in his appearance. @littledaydreamers
Fletcher's eyes lingered on the female as he tried to work her out. "I'm just saying blackmailing criminals sounds like a dangerous pastime. I would hate for something to happen to you."
Completely motionless, Dove kept her blue eyes on Fletcher. If there was something she learned from her high school best friend, then that you should never back down ever. ❝Oh that's funny, why not?❞
a fucked up modern day marriage plot where a rival mob boss marries his daughter, muse a, off to muse b to calm the tension between the families. at first they hate each other, but once forced to live together, they start warming up to each other, too stubborn to let it show. then one night he comes back from an important deal gone wrong, his face is fucked up and he’s feverish and she takes care of him all night and etc etc etc…i need it?
Kai had spent the last ten minutes leaning against the wall outside, rolling a cigarette between his fingers but never lighting it. He didn’t need it—his nerves were already buzzing, his head already clouded with the scent of her, the weight of their last conversation still pressing against his chest.
And then she appeared.
The town car pulled up like something out of a movie, sleek and dark, a sharp contrast to the warm glow of the streetlights. The window lowered just enough for him to catch the glint in her eyes, that look—knowing, challenging, absolutely fucking intoxicating.
"Get in. Now."
His lips twitched. He should make a comment, something smug about how demanding she was, how she thought she could snap her fingers and he’d come running. Instead, he just tossed the unlit cigarette to the ground and stepped forward, pulling the door open fully before sliding in beside her.
The door shut with a quiet click, sealing them inside, away from the world. The low hum of music filled the space between them. He wasn't used to this kind of luxury. It almost made him a little uncomfortable, but instead, he tried to keep his focus on her.
Kai turned to her, his body angled slightly, one arm resting against the back of the seat as his dark eyes flickered over her face, lingering on her lips.
"So," he drawled, voice low, thick with something unspoken. "What exactly do you plan on doing with me now that you've got me all to yourself?" The male asked, back to teasing her.
all evening she had been first in line to his quippy little comments and actions, it had been an endless cycle of them trying to fluster one another and it had worked especially for pia. she knew that earlier, despite his words that he was envious which is why he kept such a keen eye on her and her every move. she loved that he didn't falter in his gaze, that he was first row at the show that they had created. every move she made was purposeful for his amusement, and with every moment that went by with them one upping one another, it had now come tumbling down.
she wanted him, god did she ever. she couldn't stop thinking about the way his body felt against her own, how he reacted to her, how that low moan sprung out of him as they kissed. she needed him like she'd never needed anyone before. no other male she had met had made her feel a fraction of emotions that he seemed to in a matter of hours.
she couldn't stop thinking about him, feeling the ghost of his lips tingling against her own, the smell of his cologne still inbedded in her senses. the way his touch was firm but gentle all at the same time. even that look in his orbs when he was clearly up to no good. she wanted to keep all of it going, on a loop, over and over again.
yet he managed to say a few words and it all unravelled and he had convinced her that if she DID kiss someone else now he wouldn't actually do anything to stop it and that made her feel stupid for even entertaining the idea.
she exhaled a breath as she looked back at him, her expression was unreadable at this point, what could she be thinking about? she tapped a few letters on her keyboard of her phone and then shot a glance back up to him.
"meet me outside in 10. don't be late."
and with that she was gone, returning ten minutes later as promised outside with her town car. she had instructed the driver to loop around the city, put up the tinted window in the middle and to make sure everything was sound proof and with music playing in the background. she opened the door a fraction giving him a knowing look.
"get in. now."

“sometimes i think about just leaving this town forever.” Peyton groaned as she barged into her best friend and roommates room to collapse on her bed next to them. She’d had a crap day at work, more so than usual, as she spent the majority of it playing tea maid and dog’s body rather than her actual job. “Sometimes I wonder what’s really keeping me here.”
Jesse was half asleep when his friend barged into his room. Blinking repeatedly, he tried to keep up with what was going on, already feeling like he’d missed some vital information. “Hello to you too.” He spoke aloud, a yawn slipping from his mouth as he looked at her. “I see I finally managed to become invisible after years of trying.” The male replied as she questioned what was keeping her there. “Are you going to fill me in on what’s got you ready to pack up and leave?”
Kai saw red.
One second, he was watching Pia put on a damn show, her every move calculated to get under his skin. The next, some guy was pulling her in, pressing his lips against hers like he had any damn right.
Before he even processed it, Kai was moving. He wasn’t the type to make a scene—well, not really—but this? This was a fucking joke. His fist connected with the guy’s jaw in a clean, sharp punch, sending him stumbling back. The music didn’t even drown out the collective gasps around them, but Kai didn’t care. His knuckles ached, his pulse hammered in his ears, and his sharp gaze cut to Pia before she could react.
“Enough.” His voice was low, firm, leaving no room for argument.
Without hesitation, he grabbed her wrist, his grip possessive but not painful, and pulled her through the sea of bodies. He didn’t stop until the cool night air hit them, the bass from inside now a distant thrum behind the slam of the door.
He finally let go of her hand, dragging a rough hand through his dark hair as he took a deep breath, trying to rein himself in. His knuckles stung, but he didn’t care. He turned to face her, his stormy eyes locking onto hers with a mixture of frustration, heat, and something deeper he wasn’t ready to name.
“You wanna play games? Fine. But don’t expect me to just stand there while some asshole puts his hands on you like that.” His voice was rough, his usual teasing edge nowhere to be found.
He stepped closer, towering over her slightly, his jaw clenched. “Tell me you didn’t want me to do that,” he challenged, searching her expression, daring her to lie.
to say that pia had never experienced this kind of tension was an understatement. the level in which they were meticulously taking a step ahead before the other caught up to them. she didn't really want to dance, especially with this guy but at the same time was she going to let kai have the satisfaction of knowing that he was getting to her? oh, absolutely not.
she rolled her hips, shifting her body so she was now facing away from him as she shifted in a way she was sure was going to get a physical reaction from her dance partner any second now. she effortlessly moved so she was all the way down to the floor and then glided her way back up, extending her long legs to standing as she wrapped her arms around the male's neck.
she was aware what he was doing, and if she would let her guard down and the true emotions spill out it would show she was quite irritated in that moment. the fact that this girl in his grip was so gorgeous, and peppy, and obviously completely intoxicated by him. did she wish it was her? of course she did.
she knew this wasn't very healthy behaviour, acting in this way of one upping another. and yet she couldn't stop herself so she shifted her head to whisper into this guys ear and he began pressing kisses to her neck as he tucked her hair behind her ear.
for a moment she could pretend it was kai, and block out the rest of the world but her eyes bounced back to him with this glitter in her orbs like she was trying to prove something and bit her lip. this guy was obviously feeling ballsy and pulled her in for a kiss, admitedly his lips didn't taste like the ghost of a cigarette and liquor but she welcomed it for the purpose of this game.
idk why but it’s hella cute to me to think about a plot of a pop star and her backup guitarist/tour manager/opening act/some sort of somebody that would be on tour. cute flirtation during rehearsals. tour bus antics. late night kisses on the balcony of a hotel room under the moonlight. paparazzi catching the loving gazes. rumors starting to swirl. just yes.
Teddie's voice, a mere whisper against the pounding of her own heart, trembled as she spoke. "Seb, I'm so sorry. I didn't know where else to go." Her eyes welled up with tears as she met his gaze. "He... he hit me again. I couldn't take it anymore." The words escaped her lips in a choked torrent, each syllable a testament to the fear and desperation that had driven her to his doorstep. Her body shook as she instinctively wrapped her arms around herself, needing some sort of comfort.
banging on his door this late in the evening was unexpected - sebastian didn't often have much company none the less so late. rolling out of bed he rubs his hands over his face and opens the door to see the other standing before him. "everything okay?" he asked looking them over. // @littledaydreamers
