First, everything in life happens for a reason. Life is not trivial, we make our lives trivial. There’s a purpose for everything, even every drop of rain has a purpose and a destination. So when we become more observant, not just seeing and hearing what’s happening around us, but reflecting and listening to what’s happening around us, we can understand the wisdom in happenings. Example of the first part of the question: That person/s who crosses our path may be a lesson we need to learn, may need to give in charity, may need to see, hear, etc. something about their actions or lack of actions, there are so many reasons why people cross our paths and we cross theirs. We are examples for each other even when we are not trying to be or even realize others are watching. For the second part of the question, is almost the same response. But sometimes bad things or what appears to be bad are a test and trial. And it’s how we deal with the bad when it comes that define us and either build character or destroy it. And lastly, one may just need a hug, but in The God’s Sight, “hugs” come in many forms. And it depends on which part of our body needs the hug/s. The heart, the mind, the eyes, the ears, or just a regular old bear hug. Example, I can be feeling down and my pets will do something that makes make heart smile. I mean the stupidest things, but at the right moments. And the mind might need a hug, that bad thing that crosses our path can hug our mind, cause it might be a lesson we need to learn, we could have just had an argument with a loved one, a foolish spat, but it didn’t seem foolish until we saw another couple arguing over something foolish and we think to ourselves how foolish it is, but then The God makes us remember the argument we had earlier and what it was about and we see just how foolish it was. And we rush to apologize. Everything happens for a reason, but we get so caught up in the fast paced lifestyles we've created, that very few of us notice the wisdoms in what’s happening around us.
