ever since she was young , sooyoung has had a passion for music, especially creating it herself, it was no suprise to longtime BIBIS (sooyoungs solo fans, originating from her old stage name SEULBI) when she became an independent artist not long after DEARLIES disbandment. Despite releasing many solo tracks, many (including Sooyoung herself) refer to LIKE XYLIA as her official solo debut.

the year is 2019 , and Ukiyo academy is about to lose jay moon.

Ukiyo academy has been jay's (korean name, Sooyoung's) home for the past 3 years, but something is wrong. deeply wrong.

The dance classes that usually fills her with so much energy , leaves her feeling void. Her favourite class, mythology, has drained her so much she can barely keep her eyes open.

Its her final semester of her 3rd year and Jay wants to go home. Not home to her solo dorm, a perk of being captain of the junior soccer team, but home to Seoul, to the stage.

Jay wants to re-debut, but she's not sure how to approach it. She had been told that nobody had wanted to see her on stage, that she was the filler member of dearlie, the kids gg she was a member of , due to being the youngest. (10 at debut, compared to minseos 14, jaylies 12 and sieuns 12.)

she loves producing and writing her own music and music for other groups, but she needs to be on stage, its what she was born to do. Jyp has just debuted a new girl group, and being a soloist isn't in her cards right now .

THE NOWHERE GIRLS CLUB intro

THE NOWHERE GIRLS CLUB also referred to as TNGC, is a six-member girl group under THENEWSTANDARD. TNGC consists of; Manon, Yunjin, Rei, Chaewon, Sooyoung and Megan. They made their official debut on june 12, 2020, with the debut extended play ‘stay out of my soul’ and the lead track ‘accendio’. 

Originally set to debut nearly 2 years before with a near completely different line up , the circumstances with their debut and pre debut era was quite unknown until their documentary “the world is my oyster” came out in june 2021 for their 1 year anniversiary. 

GROUP INFO :

Name meaning: the name comes from the girls being from, well, nowhere, they’ve decided to form a club solely for girls as a safe space from the harsh cruelties of the world.

Fandom name meaning : KEYS . The name comes from being the key to the club , without them the club will never open. 

Concept : the group concept is a mix between mystery and magical girls, the girls basically switch between their real boring life (ie. their pre-release song) and their magical life (ie. their debut song)

the way I see it, your dr is like a recipe , you can remake for but it won’t be the same as the first time you made it

we'll die in all our realities and though we can shift to an exact replica of that reality and experience it all over again it won't be the same one and that makes me kinda sad
