I have some lowkey demon lore that I’ve been revolving around in my head.

Despite Bad, Tina, and Mouse all being demons, they’re not the same at all which led to me to start world building a bit in my head.

Irl there’s different types of demons, but stepping back from demonology or religious sources and into Minecraft, I think Demons would be more of a taxonomical catagory, specifically a phylum. Im way too into biology and genetics, so I’ll spare all the science talk, but underneath that phylum of demons, there’s different classes and families. I think what defines the Demon phylum would be having infernal blood, which is different from being warm blooded, mammals birds and such, and cold blooded, reptiles fish etc.

That choice also made me start thinking of that means people like bird hybrids aren’t mammals or if some players who are cold blooded would be reptile, but that’s something to think of on a different day.

I think infernal blood is something a lot of demons are born with, but my running theory is that certain spells, experiments, or spending enough time in hell chemically, magically?, transforms a persons blood to become infernal. Or they die.

I don’t know exactly what type of demons Tina or Bagi are, but I think Bad would be a fallen angel. Fallen angels are somewhat rare, they’ve had to be cast from some pantheon to burn. Many of them die but those who make it have many struggles. They remember a life outside of hell, and often do whatever it takes to claw their way out, a painful and tedious procedure. Once they make it through hell and out of the nether, they find that humans and those in the over world tend to fear them. They’re powers that once protected and created now kill and destroy when they try to use it. I think they also have a bad reputation amongst other demons due to mistrust of them once being holy.

I don’t watch much of Tina’s pov, so forgive me and pls correct me if she already has lore, but Tina gives me the vibe of somebody who was once a human that was forcefully transformed into a demon. She gives me strong “girl raised in country village vibes who was subjected to the horrors”.

I feel like she was greatly content, with a happy upbringing. One day she gets kidnapped, dragged to hell, and transformed. They underestimate the kind village girl, and she kills her captors. She still looks very human, but now she has two horns and some unholy power running in her veins. She returns to her village only to be chased away with pitchforks, forever scarring her physically and psychologically. Humans can’t get past her horns, sharp teeth and claws, so she hides them.

Mouse is the only demon out of the three to have actually been born in hell. Not just born in hell but into royalty!! For a demon, she is kind, patient, highly educated, but naive. She’s always had power and protectors. When she’s visited the overworked she is simply too strong to recognize any attacks against her, though being royalty, she’s protected and somewhat above that. While she’s used to assassination attempts and crime, she’s never quite gone through discrimination for being a demon. She’s so confused as to why Bad and Tina hide what they are.

Other little things: holy weapons like crosses, holy water, and blessed items only hurt bad. Most demons have weakness to things like silver but they’re all very strong.

Reading amazing fanfiction, then forgetting to bookmark it

I genuinely don’t, in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword he kinda looks Brunette, but it’s really light. I think it’s more like the only reason he was a brunette in the first two games was due to the limited color palette. In the 3rd game that came out in the early 90s he had pink hair!

my guess is that because Ocarina of time did so well and he became so recognizable in that game they stuck to blonde for a while

team medic headcanon

I’ve seen some back and forth over whether Warriors or Hyrule would be the group medic/healer and while I understand the arguments on each side, realistically I think all the links would be medically adept, but that’s not what I’m here to talk about

I think a funnier take would be that both Hyrule and Wars are both good healers, but Hyrule is good in the medieval witch kind of way with poultices, magic, and natural remedies while Wars is good in the American Civil War way

And this is funnier with the assumption that the others in the chain come from more medically advanced eras but never retained medical knowledge or skill

example: Wild gets a really bad infected bite and goes to Hyrule who starts rubbing dirt into it so he switches and tries to go to Wars who immediately is like: 😬 we might have to amputate. And he’s dead serious. Poor Wild is like: “I’m not a doctor but i know this can’t be right 😭”

Soul Eater AU: Legend and Hyrule

I would like to ask that everybody please ignore my poor drawing skills 😭 I’m very rusty right now so these are basically caveman drawings of what I’m trying to convey. 

As aforementioned Hyrule is the weapon out of the duo and he’s a magic rod inspired greatly by the one he used in Zelda 1. He’s about 4 feet tall in that form and can perform a couple of spells from Zelda 2: Jump, Shield, Reflect, Thunder, and Life. I think they could perform other spells or even rituals.

Hyrule has a lot of magic potential while Legend only has a bit but it works well with Legend only needing a little bit to cast while Hyrule basically pushes the spell out in a much bigger form. If they complete bigger spells there runs the risk of both of them exhausting themselves. 

They discovered in a bad fight that in a pinch, Hyrule can be used as a melee weapon as he has some weight 😭 They use this sparingly because it sets Legend up to be more likely hurt and Hyrule really isn’t meant to be used that way.

Hyrule is the son of a very infamous witch that was slain when he was very young. We’ll say maybe 5 years old? The royal family “took him in” as means to watch him closely and keep him away from the public. He wasn’t horribly bullied but was largely ignored or feared growing up. He was allowed to study very little magic in fear that he would develop into a witch. He had a very lonely childhood :(

Legend is the spare prince of Hyrule (the country) and was sent to live with his uncle to learn magic and combat. His father also wasn’t too sure what to do with an extra child. He grew up happy and out of the public eye until he was 12 when an assassin tried to end him. His uncle intervened and died protecting him. 

He was sent back to the castle to live, and there he met Hyrule, another lonely child. They became fast friends and realized that they were compatible as weapon and meister. Legend’s father sent them to school, idk if it would be death academy, where they became top of their class despite having a very shaky reputation built around the narrative of being the spare prince and son of a witch. 

At 16, Rule, and 17, Legend, they’re selected to go on a holy quest with 7 other people to stop an ancient evil from resurrection.

And that’s their story!! 

This has also somewhat become my emo/goth dress up game AS well as which demonias I think each would wear 😽 I forgot that in Soul Eater all of the characters wear big goth/emo shoes. I gave Hyrule the Boxer-13s and Legend… he gets bestowed the classic Swing-815s.

Hierarchy:

All vampires are related to one of six original vampires and all are related to the Proud Vampire Mother. 

This relation is not quite genetic, they do share venom with vampires from the same sire or greatest sire (whichever OG vampire they’re related to) but it is not the same as human blood relations. What I’m trying to say is that it’s not incest for two vampires with the same sire to date ToT

That being said, found family tropes are common so that often deters vampires under the same sire from dating each other. Opinions on this probably differ from vampire to vampire. 

There are technically 7 original vampires, though 6 came from the first. The first vampire was born sometime during the dawn of man. She would go on to sire 6 prodgenies together, the 7 of them would be referred to as sevens, with Pride being the first. Her wearabouts remain unknown and have remained unknown for thousands of years. It’s assumed she is either dead or in hibernation, similar to a volcano. 

The rest of the original vampires would be incredibly power, equivalent to weak gods. Each has a different skill set and type of vampiric power. I haven’t really fleshed them out too well but they correlate with their namesakes. 

Sireing a vampire takes significant effort, similar to having a child. The way they’re turnt is pretty basic, the sire drains most of their blood and injects an IMMENSE amount of venom. Much more than is typically released in a normal feeding. 

Also similar to having a child, sires cannot sire an infinite number of fledglings. To sire one typically takes at least 5 years of care and a lot of venom. The time it takes for the amount of venom it takes to turn a person is roughly 2 years. Technically if a sire were to take an “absent parent role” they could sire a fledgling every two years but without care, the fledgling would likely die quickly. Most vampires don’t end up sireing another vampire and those that do often keep their numbers small.

The fledgling will be very dependent on their sire for the first 5 years or so. In this time the fledgling will mostly feed from the sire and rely on them to familiarize them with their new abilities and body. Usually this forms a bond between the two parties. While most vampires can become independent after a few years under their sire, many stay longer. If this process is interrupted by separating the sire and fledgling development can be stunted or damaged. Unbalanced and impulsive vampires are often the result. A lot of bad vampire stereotypes come from improperly sired vampires who struggle to control feeding impulses. 

Fledglings who are seperated from their sires can recover if another vampire steps in as a sire or if their original sire returns even years later. Adoptive sires might not be able to raise a fledgling to the ability their original sire could have, especially if they don’t share relation to an original sire, however there’s little difference in quality if the adoptive sire is committed.

The strength and power a vampire has is directly related to how many times removed they are from the First Vampire, Pride, whether or not their own sire is alive and the number of fledglings their sire had, and whether or not they’ve killed other vampires. 

When a vampire sires a fledgling, their fledgling typically inherits somewhere between 1 to 3 quarters of their sires power. In rare cases it can be more or less. In long lines of vampires, this power typically weakens with each new generation. 

When a sire dies, their power disperses and divides amongst their living fledglings in a phenomenon dubbed inheritance. If a fledgling’s sire sired many fledglings, they will receive less power from their sire than one that sired fewer fledglings.

If a vampire were to kill another and consume all their blood, they could stop the inheritance phenomenon instead absorbing around half that vampire’s power all to their self. Sires with many fledglings, or powerful vampires in general, are at risk of other vampires slaying them for their power. 

Most vampires are related to Lust and Gluttony making up close to half of the vampire population. This is followed by Envy related vampires who make up close to 1/5th of the population. Greed, Wrath, and Sloth make up the rest of the population in that order.

Hrm, I think if I had to pick a ship I didn't like that I saw a lot of it'd be Link/Sidon -- I'm just way too gay for that man.

He's a wonderful character! I think he'd treat Link well (although a lot of people make him do a lot of caretaking I am at best indifferent to or actively dislike.) But he's SUCH a guy. He's the platonic ideal of a Guy, and I?

I am a lesbian. Men need to work much harder than that to appeal to me in media. They need something wrong with them.

Sidon's main redeeming trait in my mind isn't usually depicted on Tumblr, so alas, it goes in my No Thank You ships.

The ship I DO wish I saw more of is hysterically the example of what makes a gay ship really work for me and that's GanLink. I really don't see it on Tumblr which is a travesty because I'm trying to! Some of it does exist, but it just doesn't make it into AUs and stories the same way.

And lemme tell you, people have to try to NOT have these boys have something wrong with them in exciting ways. LOL But that's my short opinions on the subject yes!

Fit flinches as he feels the familiar sting of a blade piercing skin.

Fit sighs with fake contentment as something in him settles in that familiar, cold place. There's nothing off the table anymore - and noone, either.
