That Autism tournament pools that happened some months ago made me discover the existence of the rottmnt and reawaken my obsession with tmnt.

At first, I was like "I'm not watching that new version, it's new, so it's shit.", and here I am now, simping for those turtles and obsessing over them.

But I already had weirder crushes, like flippy from happy tree friends and many characters from cookie run kingdom.

bitches be like: "no my childhood crushes are so weird!"

and it's like fred from scooby doo or nick wild from zootopia

Fujimoto has perfected creating the most authentically selfish characters. I feel in many stories characters' selfishness are justified through the narrative. That they have suffered through something so significant they deserve to be selfish. I'm not saying I disagree with that sentiment, selfishness is necessary for self preservation at times. But what Fujimoto does is very different.

His characters are selfish consistently. They want to be the best, make the best movies, be good, and be known for being good. Their selfishness is not justified and it feels awkward and cringy. They often do awful things and think about it hundreds of times until finally their thoughts overlap in such a way they have convinced themselves they did the right thing. Sometimes, they never had to convince themselves.

Denji wants a normal life, but he wants fame! He wants tons of girlfriends, but he wants to be loved unconditionally! Asa wants to save Denji, but she's really thinking about how good she'll look saving him! She sits in front of a TV giggling about how awesome she looks killing a giant devil and being renowned for it. Fujino scared that Kyomoto will become a better artist than them, actively attempts to trap Kyomoto with them and keep Kyomoto from going to art school.

There is no justice in their actions. They have no right to feel the things they do, do the things they do, yet they feel these selfish wants with all their might. They are children sure, but the adults have the same selfishness twisted in more wicked ways, backed up by legalities and, what they presume to be, rational thought. Justifying selfishness is what an adult does. Being selfish is what a child does. And being selfish should not be demonized, nor should it be justified.

Selfishness is part of the heart. It is part of us, and no matter what we do, we will act with selfish precision.

Rio Grande do Sul is currently going through extreme flooding and the government is basically doing nothing about it.

He tends to cycle between his innocent dessert-inspired swears to the most vile combinations of letters to ever grace the planet.

It’s like Russian roulette.

Oh the rants you two will fall into.

Venting to one another brings enough curses to the world that it would have the members of Witch Town shaking.

Overall, he’s pretty indifferent to it, but if it’s bothering you, he’ll do his best to assist.

Though as someone who has his own bad habits, it’s less of him helping you and more of you leaning on each other.

It can become a bit competitive, though.

Oh the poor sweet thing.

Literally the “no more saying cuss words guys! 😨 it’s inappropriate and violent! 😖” kid.

He loves you, but he’s pretty uncomfortable by how often you swear.

He softened up a bit when you explained it wasn’t entirely voluntary.

He knows what it’s like to lose control sometimes, mild or severe.

He gets you a chewing stim toy to bite down on whenever you feel the urge to swear, as he had a similar method when he was younger and adjusting to his strong jaw.

Will absolutely glare at you if you’re about to curse.

So here’s the thing.

Mikey is no stranger to swearing.

In fact he probably has the foulest mouth in the family with Donnie as a close second.

He gets away with it because:

A. Youngest privilages

B. No one expects it from him

C. Dr. Delicate Touch

He also keeps his swearing to a minimum around his brothers (cough cough Raph cough).

But when you two are together, all Hell breaks loose.

His behavior does switch when he learns that you recognize it as a bad habit, and suddenly you find yourself in a Dr. Feelings seminar.

He helps you find alternative vocal stims to use instead of swearing that still hold enough bite to be satisfactory.

He practices these with you for his own sake as well, so similarly to Donnie, the two of you lean on each other.

If the situation calls for it, however…

At first he tries to play it cool. Not contacting you too often, making it seem like he was totally chill about everything.

In reality his hand was itching to pick up the phone to text you about something he wanted to share.

You're his partner in crime, someone he drags to all of his ventures.

Be prepared to face looooooooong lectures about his newest inventions, especially if you say something incorrect.

Hates admitting it, but has a little extra sleeping space set up in his room in the hopes you'll stay over more.

Whilst he doesn't always really like touching, he's not as repulsed by touch as some people say (coming from an autistic person).

Yes he isn't touchy, nor does he constantly want to be touched, but he'll settle for pats on the back or leaning on your shoulder.

Whenever his brothers are scared to enter his lab due to his antics, they'll just send you in as a sacrifice.

Donnie has a tendency to make inventions to help you during fights.

He'd rather die before he'd admit it, but seeing you hurt greatly upsets him.

He also straight up just stalks you online and rummages through your computer remotely.

It's mostly so he can see what you're up to, and so he can learn your interests so he can act on them.

JEALOUS.

If you ever spent too much time around another guy it doesn't sit well with him.

I mean you have a handsome, insanely talented and oh so intelligent boyfriend, so what's this guy doing here?

Possessive of you when it comes to competing with others for your attention.

Actually gets upset when you don't spend time with him, and whill get in increasingly worse antics if you don't pay attention to him.

Will literally just portal into your home to hang out, good luck kicking him out lol.

Loves impressing you, and is constantly raising the bar to make you swoon.

Likes finding spots to take you out on dates to.

One of the more popular spots he takes you to is Hueso's. who is always relieved to see you with the trouble making turtle.

Speaking of trouble, get ready to save him from those messes, like at least twice a week.

Half of those times is because he's trying to save you from trouble, only to fall into it himself.

Please watch his skateboard tricks, he'll get sad if you don't look at him.

Wear blue clothes and he'll see it as matching. and he won't stop bragging about it.

Has quite a few pictures of you in his hoodies, also casually steals any oversized hoodies you own.

You guys share a wardrobe now.

There's one hoodie he stole that he will never give back because he thinks it looks really good on him.

Not really prone to jealousy either, sure he might get a little bit annoyed and drag you away. But it not because he feels inferior to them.

The two of you have a stable relationship and that's the most important thing to him.

A lot of movie marathons, especially Lou Jitsu, watch those with him and he'll be glued to your side forever.

Complains a lot every time you have to leave, if he had a choice in it, you'd just live in the lair permanently.

Surprisingly gentle with you, he loves holding your tiny hand in his bigger hand.

Likes holding you like some sort of teddy bear whilst he sleeps, so i hope you like being held in a crushing grip.

Bear hugs, he loves giving you bear hugs.

Does not like you fighting with them, as if might risk your health.

If you got an injury he would literally just start crying.

Will also cry when you yell at him.

This big guy will just stare at you with a quivering lip and puppy dog eyes if you're actually upset with him.

The idea of you not liking him actually makes him feel so bad.

You caught him following you home night after night so he could make sure you got home safe.

He fell over a trash bin, he was so embarrassed after.

Collects your shirts. Like whenever you accidentally forget a hoodie at the lair, you're not getting it back.

They smell like you, and that never fails to comfort him.

Sit on his shoulders, he absolutely loves it when you do that.

Whenever the two of you are in a crowd he immediately lifts you up and puts you on his shoulders so you can also see everything.

Bends over backwards for you, he might not be great at a lot of things, but if you ask him for help he will feel so proud of himself.

Give him a little kiss on the snout.

He does get jealous, but he doesn't really know how to handle his feelings around it.

He usually just quietly stands behind you and stare them down with this look of sheer rage on his face.

He would then immediately soften up and ask you about it.

Whenever you visit them in the lair, Mikey is practically bouncing off the walls with joy.

If he hears you're visiting, he will literally be unable to focus, just impatiently waiting for you to actually arrive.

Literally has a little list of things he wants to do whenever you hang out.

Cute little dates, whether that be doing things at the lair, or going out.

His favorite date is ordering pizza and playing video games together on the arcade machines.

Hold his hand, it would make him so happy. Then again he will refuse to let go.

If you have to leave, he will literally cling to your legs, if you manage to get home you still have him to deal with.

Honestly, I understand you. In the beginning, I used to like Leosagi, and I even thought it was canon because many people were saying "It's canon"(you must imagine my confusion when I finished watching rise).

Then when I saw how people were so forceful with it, calling homophobic anyone who doesn't ship it or anyone who headcanons Leo as anything but gay, threatening and harassing people, bothering people to draw/write about Leosagi(I still remember many people bothering the creator of cass apocalypse to make it canon in their comic, and even when they said 'no' many times, people continue insisting).

It was at that moment that I realized: "Oh, it's just bakudeku all over again :/"

But the Leosagi shippers are managing to be worse, in my opinion as someone who was a fan of Boku no Hero in 2017-2019.

Even the creator said that wasn't going to have couples in rottmnt if it returned, but they still insist and throw a fit if you say it's not canon.

Also, they dumbed down Usagi to be nothing but "Leo's boyfriend", with no soul at all. With who did they learn to write couples? With Masashi Kishimoto?

My friend sent me the link to my art on pinterest (a person who uploaded it added credits so they're good, just in case), and after seeing this comment, I decided to vent a bit and let people know something, because it's not the first case like this for me.

Do not comment my art with these kinds of "fixes". My art is my art. You want Leosagi or Leo with male characters? Go and find artists who does it. There are plenty of those out there. I'm not one of those and won't ever be.

When you do something like this you devalue a person's work and simply trespassing their safe space. Not to mentions this is simply rude and feels insulting.

I'm not going on a constant crusade and leaving comments under Leosagi art, telling people to change it into Leo x Y/N or Fem character, so, please, have some respect.

My personal Donatello Headcanons!

In a relationship

I feel like it would take some time getting used to it. You guys would just act like best friends, and slowly go into the more ‘Coupley’ stuff.

He loves, loves, LOVES seeing you in his hoodies. His colour on.. you? Oh my, it makes his heart race.

When you guys cuddle, his little tail wags excitedly, and he can't help but churr at your warmth.

Sometimes when you sleep in his bed, you'll wake up in a nest of pillows, plushies, and soft blankets. (One time you woke up with Donnie staring at you, waiting for you to compliment his nest).

He can't help himself but smile and churr when you praise his hard work. (Ex. “Donnie, that looks amazing, you did such a good job!” You exclaimed at his AWESOME tech. And, then, Donnie hugged you, his churring vibrating through your body as he nuzzled his cheek against you.)

When sleeping with him, he likes to be the big spoon. He wants to protect you from the outside worlds’ harm.

He can't help but compliment you in front of his brothers, just to let them know that you are HIS girlfriend. He gets special treatment, not them. (Jealous Donnie🤭?)

When you wear shorts at the lair, expect Donnie to give you some pants, or a large hoodie to cover your thighs. He can't stare at them for too long, because he gets all worked up like an old Victorian man.
