yesterday a new channel was reporting data about domestic violence scene against women in TV in our country. Average of 9 scene per episode on cable and a average of 7 in Internet series. NINE SCENES. WITH THE SCENE BEING AT LEAST 3 MINUTES. IN A 2 AND A HALF LONG EPISODE. And the winner(!) for most violence act committed against women in one episode went to Kızıl Goncalar(20 scenes), a show about an Islamic cult which was also the show with most views in TV this year... we need radical feminist revolution fast and now.(also the numbers reveal themselves to be more damning when you realize a Middle Eastern critic might not have picked on or categorize some psychological violence scenes) (note:some Internet series are shorter in a western format so 7 scenes in 45 minutes/1 hour is extremely worse than cable's with added advertising of them being "secular" and "modern" )

I truly do apply the idea of "prioritizing women" in my daily life. I will stop to help women with things but not men. I do data entry for work and if I receive something to enter from a woman that has a typo or punctuation error I fix it for her, but if it's a man's work I just copy it exactly as is and send it through. I extend the benefit of the doubt to women but never to men. Even on the road if I can see a woman driver who needs to merge I let her in, but if I know it's a man, he's gotta wait till I pass. I treat women how men treat each other and give the same amount of grace to men as they spare for women (nearly none). It's the little things.

they are more aware than the 90 percent of the population and I hope nobody finishes off their spark to publicly talk about this issues

sterek fic recs - all completed

i struggle big time when it comes to finding good sterek fic recs, so i thought i'd make a list of some of the soft fics i've found along the way.

stuck in reverse by crazyassmurdererwall (smartalli) - i've gone back to this one multiple times. it's got pack mum stiles, awesome character development for derek, their romantic relationship comes together naturally, and you even get jackson and stiles as best friends, which is one of my favourite tropes in teen wolf fan fiction. their relationship had so much potential to be fucking awesome and the writers just brushed over it, so i adore that fan fic writers love to build on it.

something more by kaistrex (weishen) - i actually really loved this one, the characterization is near perfect and it was so fucking romantic? the way their whole relationship comes to be is just so sweet and stiles makes it so simple and easy for derek, there's no pushing, no yelling, barely any angst. it's just a really wholesome fic which is honestly my favourite kind. i like the easy love kind of stories.

five times stiles woke up in derek's bed unexpectedly, and the one time it was on purpose by isthatbloodonhshsirt (wasterella) - this one is just super cheeky and soft; stiles keeps getting into rough situations and wakes up in derek's bed after every one. it's a whole lot of sweet fluff and stiles being insanely oblivious. good for when you want an easy and fun sterek read. i also recommend going through the entirety of this authors works, they have some really great fics, such as five time stiles fell out of a windowa and the one time he jumped and it's not pretend when it's real.

dysfunctional domesticity by yodasyoyo - a short and sweet christmas one shot, it's absolutely adorable and derek is a cheeky shit, i absolutely loved this one. i typically prefer longer fics, but i do enjoy a good one shot to get a quick fix of the ship i'm after.

gracious in defeat by yodasyoyo - another one from this author, i do recommend going through their works as well, they have some really sweet stories. this one is a soft one about stiles going to stay with derek to try and escape the hell that is being trapped in beacon hills. there is so much domestic bliss in this story, it felt so pretty to read, if that makes sense. there is a small bit of angst, but it gets resolved pretty quickly. i'd definitely read this more than once. derek is so vulnerable in this fic, and the characterization was great.

reread tsoa and can't stop thinking about the fact they knew of achilles and patroclus.Everyone knew it, they must have seen: achilles falling to his knees in the middle of the agora cause patroclus has too much blood on his tunic from a rough day at medic, patroclus becoming the first soldier ever to return from battles without even a stracth bcz his feral dog can't stop doing laps around him, the way achilles doesn't attend any council meetings without him and doesn't make a single decision without eye contact with his philtatos, patroclus small talking with the camp and Achilles "I can't function without patroclus" pelides sulking,the fact that when patroclus ask someone if they slept well the other party can't do the same because everyone heard them last night.

"they don't actually think that they know you're a hotheaded feminist so they try to rile you up" so the constant judgement of women's clothing is a joke to you and shouldn't be taken seriously?

i'm like actually legitimately loving that the result of the tiktok ban is decimating decades of propaganda against china in record time. everyone is flocking to the actual chinese-owned version of tiktok called rednote where they are being welcomed so warmly with the silliest jokes like "i'm your assigned chinese spy! i've been waiting for you! welcome!" alskdjgsld. folks are already making attempts to learn some mandarin to better interact with the chinese users. everyone realizing what our own government collects on us is twice as harmful as anything ccp could do with it. everyone waking up to the fact that every fucking facet of the american internet is designed to harvest and sell personal data off of you so what the fuck does it actually matter anyway if one more entity does it. us government managed to speedrun undoing their own fucking brainwashing it's so goddamn funny.
