reblog drrr comic shizaya GAH a cheap imitation shigaeru i really like that awkward izaya pose something about that panel just looks really nice to me maybe it's the way he casually plays off the restricted movement that back view of shizuo looks good too smoking up a storm is izaya gesturing with his leg or raising it for attack what's the difference really i love the chess imagery it's brilliant his king hidden behind the chair ooh i can't wait for like way down the line when it comes back with shizuo as the queen to izaya's king because like y'know shizuo just rams through everything thrown at him while izaya's mobility gets a little rough that serious izaya expression though damn okay the flow of the slash panel is super cool the way you divided the movement with their bodies ''a common human error'' might not want to jinx it izaya fluffy silhouettes go whooosh so many cuts but none enough to actually kill too soft for murder!! what a line look at the blood oozing out of that hand he's still using to wield

reblog drrr comic just you wait shizaya a cheap imitation shigaeru what a pretty starry night uh oh it's the smell of murder the flow of this first page is really nice eurgh maggots it genuinely looks really gross is that an ocean water transition down to shizuo? that's a really nice touch to a really good panel the heavy marks he dragged along the sand you haven't seen nothing yet shizuo that's a pretty hand hands capable of tearing heads maybe i've been staring at it for too long but the frame being layered like that as if striking past shizuo's shoulder gives his motion an extra sense of urgency maybe this set of panels in general though really satisfying composition suddenly a certain flea isn't so disagreeable those wide shots i really like the way you use black and white and different greys throughout your panels to intensify their emotions it genuinely looks really dynamic and pretty especially in the darker environments and it's super effective like here as the sun rises and gives shizuo this really nice glow also how the diagonal panel structure goes completely back at the end and kind of just hangs out behind him that and the hard shadows over his kneeling form really bring together that solemn vibe that resigned shizuo expression too he looks so tired already

reblog drrr we love to see it fic AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA shizaya wwlb glaciesdraco my finger slipped on to the caps lock but it works by the way izaya takes psychic damage is my new favourite phrase now shizuo is so obstinant it hurts ''he's just trying to get everyone to start looking for him'' procedes to start looking for him simon tell him he has an izaya complex shizuo blaming izaya for strolling back into his life when he is absolutely nowhere to be found it hurts to know that shizuo is right but in all the wrong ways i hope the orihara twins are allowing themselves to cry a little like they said they would but that's not shizuo's right to know what he does need to know is how hard he truly beat izaya down i love that he can't help but *care* so much despite himself and that he's kind of realising how the mindset he's been trying to live by for so long just doesn't quite work like he thinks it does izaya is so obstinant it hurts but it actually hurts and i don't quite blame him for refusing to surrender what they want from him i suppose it's one way to have izaya face his issues but be careful with him he's fragile :( he's doing his best to hold on to a semblance of anything and it's such a sad image that oozes exhaustion i really like the aspect of forcing izaya to speak in english it's a very subtle way to wear him down very characteristic for this sort of torture you describe perfectly as a slow-acting poison which is slowly but surely diminishing at his sense of self ooh that comparison to a bottom feeder hit all the worst places yikes i have a lot more i want to say about shizuo and how effective izaya's torture is but i hadn't even made it out of russia sushi before realising there was no way i'd fit it all in 30 tags so here's the abridged version now to compose everything into a slightly more coherent director’s cut showing in your comment section hopefully soon

reblog drrr mlp izaya orihara mairu orihara kururi orihara coolest-boooom i've literally been holding on to these tags since writing them on a plane early december finally got the time to maybe clean them up and send them off 💀 aww they're so cute it's been a second since i've seen your art kinda particularly love the way you drew the oriharas in this one though so pointy love their vibes like the expressions in the first one their smiles are sooo them in a really sweet way particularly izaya has this really endearing slicked down took to him the way you drew his hair there has a slink to it that i really like anyways they look so lanky in their mlp shirts i like it they look so cutely casual the taped up twins hdhdh i like how much more was required to keep mairu contained them and their coordinated crocs and hoodie fit babysitting era izaya though haha tired and done this is what i wrote on that plane unedited uhhh i don't wanna read through them but i'm looking at the art again and still really like the way you drew them in that first picture especially they're soooo chaos siblings <3
