I’m sitting in a coffee shop right now, and there’s a teenage boy and girl (I’d say about 16-17) sitting at the next table over. At first I thought they were on a date, but actually the exact opposite is happening - no, not a breakup. I mean they’re talking about the fact that they both have a crush on the same girl. Currently they’re very earnestly debating whether they should ask her out one after another or if they should go together like in that one episode of Community.
i lied. put your clothes back on. we're going to watch dead poets society while i psychoanalyse every character and express my thoughts after every scene cut.
tears in my satosugu eyes
the most unrealistic thing about Supernatural is that the boys never had a lore book open to an ugly ass monster, held the book up to the other one, and said "lol that's you"
he’s so sleepy this season……
“Your heartbeat’s really loud.”
Castiel sits with the Winchesters and listens intently to the plan they are pitching. It’s not the best way to prevent a seal from opening, but strictly speaking, Castiel really isn’t supposed to be influencing their decisions so much as observing them. He attempts to concentrate on Dean’s words, but the overwhelming thud, thud, thud of Sam’s heartbeat is driving him to distraction.
This has been a frequent recurrence since the angel revealed himself to Sam and joined their hunting activities. Sam, it seems, can never quite look Castiel in the eye, but the second he realizes Castiel is there, his spine straightens and his heartbeat quickens inexplicably. So far, Castiel has been ignoring it, but he cannot any longer.
Tracking mortal vital signs comes as easy as breathing, but he’s never been so disturbed by them before. However, his concentration is shot and just as he was refocusing something changed and Sam’s heart picked up even faster. Castiel looks back towards Sam and catches his gaze just as he yanks his eyes away from Castiel’s mouth. Sam immediately averts his eyes, but the flush invading his face and the wild heartbeat give him away.
Castiel feels strangely frustrated by the event – and even more irritated to find that he quite likes the way the flush lights up Sam’s face. The frustration bursts forth with a blunt proclamation. “Your heartbeat is too loud, Sam. Please calm down,” he tries to gentle the command, but the new sensations have him rattled. Counter to his objective, Sam’s heart gains speed and becomes even more erratic. Worse still, the flush has worked its way to Sam’s ears. Castiel is doomed.
